According to the tracking info, my order is being kept by US customs for having counterfeit postage. Ok sounds kind of shady, but I was willing to give ottocast the benefit of the doubt. I reached out to ottocast last week to see about getting another one sent asap, and they have never responded. Their website says they respond within 24 hours. LIES.

My Ottocast worked fine until iOS 26. Even after the iOS update after the release of iOS 26, still disconnected all the time. Their tech support after a long wait told me to plug it back in, then follow some long YouTube direction to send them a log. Worse tech support ever. Don’t purchase if you want tech support.

I ordered on Sept 18 I have not received any updates on my package. No one has called me .I left my phone 646 305 9154 to see if someone would reach out to me but nothing.

I was so excited to receive my order, however I've found that it will only allow me to make and receive calls and use Maps, it doesnt offer the Android Auto interface. Having a 2024 model car, I thought id be ok. He device connected quickly and without a challenge. Unfortunately I still need to connect via USB to use Android Auto in my Volvo

It would be nice to review this product, except, it was ordered 12 days ago and no work from Ottocast as to the whereabouts of the product nor is there's any response from customer service. Is this a scam????

You'll be disappointed when you plug in this piece of junk and see the poor image quality. Accessing the keyboard will make your blood boil and will exhaust your patience. I regret buying this piece of junk.

I’m seriously impressed with the Ottocast! Setup was absolutely effortless — and that’s saying something coming from this boomer 😄. Everything connected smoothly right out of the box, no confusing steps or tech headaches. Within minutes, I was up and running. Great product that does exactly what it promises — simple, seamless, and works like a charm!

Having tried an Apple Carplay dongle some years ago and had an unsatisfactory experience I was initially sceptical about the Ottocast's capabilities. However I was amazed, and extremely pleased when the whole thing initiated by itself and just started working. Nothing to key in and a reliable system that seems to load up pretty well instantly, all in a tiny box.

The whole experience is no different than buying something from AliExpress. Similar waiting time (with expedited shipping that is 20% of the mini cube cost), similar packaging, Chinese on the box etc.

Once it finally arrived (~20 days), it works as advertised, so not much to complain there.

I got new Ottocast mini cube. It is very small and simple to plug USB C in my car. The mini cube seems boots fast when my car start. I really love it. Highly recommend you buy this.

WARNING !!BE VERY WARY BEFORE ORDERING!! No communication from this company, have emailed numerous times. I ordered an incorrect item, cancelled order within 10 minutes and it has been a nightmare since. I RECEIVED ONE EMAIL TELLING ME THEY THINK I SHOULD KEEP IT, their refund policy clearly states something different.

SCAM COMPANY. AVOID, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T POST ITEM.

Automated email responses when they can be bothered to hit the reply button, they will tell you they are away and only working weekends then they will tell you it’s a national day of rest when they don’t reply for weeks.

Had to contact credit card company to get my money back. Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews or professional marketing. This company is a straight up scam money machine. Beware.

The product does not work. After troubleshooting it still did not work. I reached out to tech support via email and had no response.

Seller promises to send $5 gift card if you leave positive review - then gives excuses for not sending it - and never sends it!

I ordered the Ottocast mini over a week ago and it still hasn’t arrived. The tracker says the order is still in china, and any emails sent to them get met with an auto response telling me it is the weekend and they will reply when they’re back, even though it isn’t the weekend

Purchased Otttocast mini, works ok for apple car play but looses the functionality of the car speakers when on phone calls . Contacted ottocast numerous times but have not had any response. Avoid buying from them, once they,ve taken your money they don't want to know

I’d been looking at the enormous selection of USB Wired CarPlay to Wireless dongle products on the market for a couple of weeks, but felt that Ottocast were one of, if not the, most credible product and company. The design of the Mini Cube 3.0 is fantastic. It’s incredibly small yet still stylish. I opted for the USB C version to use in a 2022 Audi A1. Connection was simple, and it provides such consistent, lag free performance. Updating is also straightforward, however I didn’t need to do this as the one I received was already on the latest firmware which was only a few weeks old. I will admit I was slightly concerned to find this was being shipped directly from China, however with tracking throughout, I received after 10 days (UK).

Ordered on 9/15. Stuck in US Customs since 9/27 without an explanation. Website says 10-15 days for delivery. Customer support not responsive. Do not buy from this company. Filing dispute with my CC bank.

10/16 and the item is still stuck in customs. The few emails I have since received from Ottocast say to be patient despite that I have repeatedly told them to cancel the order. Complete B.S. and now I'm stuck waiting up to 90 days for my CC bank to resolve the dispute.

12/20 - Took over a month to finally ship, still took two more weeks after that to ship to my location (over 45 days to ship) and by that time I no longer wanted the product. Support refused to cancel the order and refund my money.

I then had to refuse shipment at my door and then wait 90 days for the dispute with my CC bank to clear. I ended up without any charges, but what a painful experience. I would give negative stars if I could.

DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
After less than 3 months my Ottocast Mini stopped working properly. I contacted Ottocast and over 5 weeks was given different options to try and get it working. They eventually admitted it was a defective item but refused to replace or refund.

It’s been almost a month and no response from company. Their automated reply says it’s the weekend and they don’t have access to emails. They’ve taken my money and won’t tell me when I’ll get my package. Buyer beware!
