The product worked best 3 weeks

The product worked great for the first 2 to 3 weeks. Then started restarting/cutting out. Annoying when in middle of call and switches back to phone then back to car when it restarted. We have honda crv hybrid 2025. So it's not the vehicle, android auto via USB works with all phones we have without a problem. Very disappointed in product, won't buy any ottocast product anymore. Not unless they are located on here in the USA where returns can be facilitated easy.

Defective device, no help from support

My device is defective and stutters the audio every 5 seconds rendering it completely unusable. I've contacted their support who gave me a copy paste response with a few steps, majority of which were not even applicable to my specific product. After that they ghosted me when I told them it still did not work properly.

Product doesnt work as advertised

Product doesnt work as advertised. False advertising and should be prosected by FCC and Consumer Affairs and local District Attorney office. They do not honor the 100% money back guaranteed as advertised. They could not address issue and wont provide a valid shipping address to ship back product for full return of money as advertised on their emails and website. They clain audio plays over speakers in vehicle and it doent not with connectors provided. China company, enough said, worse than Temu

The product i purchased (Ottocast Mini…

The product i purchased (Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 Wireless CarPlay) is failing to pair to my car system, which is listed as a compatible car in the literature and seamlessly runs carplay when my phone is connected via a cord. I sent an explanatory email to the cusomter support email address (as instructed) to coordinate return authorization and the Ottocast support email system rejected my email (i.e. would not receive the email). I called the support phone number. It had an automated outgoing message that said it would not accept messages. I then submitted the request for return authorization (and accompanying explanation) to Ottocast via its website and via WhatsApp. I am awaiting a response. If this is satisfactorily addressed, I am happy to revisit my review. But, having your customer support email reject incoming support requests, having essentially a non-working support phone number where you cannot get a human to communicate and putting in so many hurdles to get a defective situation remedied is a very poor start to the customer support experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered a Ottocast Mini, it took approx 5 weeks and several emails (that take 48 hours to get replied to) before it arrived, worked very well for 2 weeks with my iPhone 14 Pro Max (iOS 18.7.1) in my 2019 E Class Mercedes but then started to freeze, drop connection or just refuse to connect the only way to reconnect was turn the car off unplug the Ottocast Mini and then plug it back in, I returned the Mini (£9 recorded signed for) at my cost and Ottocast sent their Tv Car Mate Max, absolute crap, again worked for less than 2 weeks before it also began to freeze and drop connections, so yet again I'm faced with paying to send a 2nd faulty device back.

I have tried both of the devices in another car and the same results were found, so definitely not a problem with my car.

Just be aware behind the big flashy website this appears to be cheap Chinese rubbish that is massively over priced.

The last 2 weeks I have been using a TEMU £9.99 wireless connector that has not dropped the signal once.

Amazing

The purchase process went very well, the order arrived on time. I'm using it in my MG EHS SUV and connected to a Samsung A56 smartphone. The connection is fast and works very well.

If you’re expecting fast delivery DON’T ORDER 😡😡😡

Had a brief look at the Mini Cube 3.0. After that was absolutely bombarded with ads !! Decided to order it & even paid for expedited delivery -WHAT A WASTE 😡😡. Delivery was promised at 10 days maximum - it’s now well over that time and still no sign of my order. Contacted their customer service - replied after 3 days saying “can you wait a little longer?” - NOOO !!!
They were supposed to use a premium courier instead they used EVRI 🙄 ! Probably hoping it would arrive in time or customer would not notice !! Wrong person to try and pull a fast one !!
BE WARNED IF YOU EXPECT A FAST SERVICE THINK AGAIN !!!!!
UPDATE :-
EVRI left the parcel on my doorstep & it’s gone missing 😡😡!! I have disputed this with my credit card company. NEVER USE OTTOCAST AGAIN.

Product substandard service hopeless (play2video ultra)…

Product is substandard

Not completely compatible with any setup
Had to chase up delivery -way over quoted leadtime
Decided to return…was intimidated to the risks of returning by the company when asking the process - ie may get broken, it will cost a lot,hard to send back from overseas ,also had to provide photos we actually sent back after enquiring about the return holdups
Company acknowledged the return was ok - after 4 weeks (we had to chase up)
Then after another month still no refund (we had to chase up) They claimed 3-5 days till refund processed after return ok’ed (I understand bank may also take a few days)
Still waiting……..
We have complete documentation of experience thus far
Do not buy! Second rate product and service non existent

Dreadful.

Dreadful.

What seem to be going well, simple order, watching my tracking of delivery and then nothing for over 3 weeks.

No returned emailsnto helpnresolve the query, countless attempts to follow up. Dreadul AI support that goes round in circles and eventually tells you to email.

Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 review

I've bought Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter for my 9 year old VW with lots of doubt will it work. "Installation" was as easy as 1-2-3 (just plug it in) and it works without any issues.

WARNING - 8 weeks counting and still no delivery

It's been 8 weeks since I purchased my product, and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I wouldn't have paid for it knowing this delay. But more importantly, I want to warn others so they do not experience the same disappointment I have with Ottocast

Ottocast mini cube 3.0

We purchased an Ottocast mini cube 3.0 for my husbands 2024 Toyota Hilux which has just about everything, but not Apple CarPlay.
We were hesitant at first and did some research, carefully reading review's before deciding on the Ottocast brand.
It has been a game changer!
It connects as soon as the car is started and he hasn't had any issues with connection.
We love it so much we plan on buying another as a gift for a family member.
Great product, great value and a great little device!
Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0…

Received the new Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 and it is a huge upgrade from the original Ottocast. It now connects just as quickly as the factory installed wireless CarPlay in my wife's car.

Zero customer support for a so-so product

Bought 2 Ottocast Mini 3.0 units. One works. One does not. I have emailed the company twice asking for a replacement. Neither email has been responded to. I emailed on both Oct 9 and Oct 13. I am about to do a credit card chargeback unless I hear something in the next 24 hours.
