Monalisa was very helpful

Monalisa was very helpful, giving me the the information I asked for quickly and respectfuly. As I am a pensioner, she even offerered to add my details to the Preferential Treatment Service, which I was unaware I was eligable for.

I’m amazed by the other reviews which…

I’m amazed by the other reviews which seem to have been done when there are no issues. This is not my experience. After my father died I took on responsibility for sorting his house out. Outfox were terrible from the start. They have zero customer service and no bereavement team. They caused me immense further stress which included sending bailiffs to my house to recover a debt which didn’t actually exist. Absolute dire company who should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid.

We are particularly concerned by your comments regarding debt recovery action for a balance you state was not owed. We have processes in place for handling accounts following a bereavement, and where we have been notified of a death, the circumstances should be treated appropriately and sensitively. If incorrect debt recovery action took place, we would want to understand exactly how and why this happened.

We would also like to reassure you that the positive reviews you reference are genuine customer experiences. Outfox Energy has an Excellent Trustpilot rating based on more than 50,000 reviews, and the experience you've described is certainly not representative of the service the vast majority of our customers receive. However, we recognise that this does not diminish what you and your family experienced.

Please respond to our Trustpilot information request with the relevant account details so that we can locate the account, investigate the circumstances surrounding the debt recovery action and ensure any outstanding issues are properly addressed.
