Worst experience

I can't believe, I am not recommending!!! I order a baby cot in March, it says 6-9 working days delivery. Never arrived, after constant email still nobody replied. Disgusting!!!

I ordered wall lights from Overstock

I ordered wall lights from Overstock. When opened, the quality and appearance of both differed from what was pictured on site. I asked for a refund which I was within the return period. I was told on an order totaling $100 ish I would be charged $40. to return. There is a warehouse in SLC but I can't take the order there. Also didn't matter that they were different than shown. Answer was they have them photographed and sometimes they don't look the same in photos. Would never order from Overstock again. Could not be harder and with less customer service.

Ordered a porta cot which was meant to…

Ordered a porta cot which was meant to be delivered within 6-9 days, never happened n i sent email to the customer care and they said its delayed due to logistic issues and then the week after i sent them an email again n there has been no reaponse till date. I have been sent a fake tracking number too. Their website doesnt even exist now. Bloody scammers

Overstock was actually good before it…

Overstock was actually good before it merged with Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I used to order from them often (rugs, furniture, etc) but after "beyond" nearly went bankrupt and got ahold of overstock, everything went down hill. They think their unreasonable company policies are law and they are refusing to delete my account. They're siting some made junk about fraud and being "required" to hold your account/data hostage for 12 months, however, they are really just trying to hold accounts to look like the business is doing better than it actually is. I've had no issues with deleting my accounts with other companies, only this one. I'm leaving the country and they don't ship overseas, so I have no need to have an account with. And at this point, I would never recommend them to anyone ever again.

Overhyped & Underwhelming

Ordered a "high-quality" rug from Overstock, but it was thinner than a paper towel and smelled weird. Return process was a nightmare, and customer service was about as helpful as a broken compass. Never again. 🏠📦🤨

Return Fee Outrageous

I ordered a couple of curtains to see which color and fabric would work best. When I wanted to return them, the cost of the return was almost 50% of the cost of each panel. I called and they said they couldn't do anything. Will NEVER buy ANYTHING from them again.

I will never buy anything from these…

I will never buy anything from these people again the worst company I ever dealt with,item showed up defective and damaged and after 2 hours on the phone the only thing I got was a migraine and high blood pressure.
They refused to pay for the return shipping and after 3 different customer service agents and photos they agreed to send me a return shipping label but if there experts fill the table is fine shipping costs will be deducted from refund.
Stay away from these people like a plague.

This is one of the worst purchase…

This is one of the worst purchase experiences I have ever had. The TV stand we ordered from Bed Bath and Beyond took 2 weeks to get to us and it was smashed and we refused delivery when it showed up. We had purchased the shipping insurance Beyond Extend and they are worthless. We get the same answers over and over that they are sorry for the delay and will keep updated in 3-4 business days. I want my refund now!

False Advertisement of their products

I wish I didn't have to give any stars because they don't deserve even 1. And I see I'm not alone in this, as there is not one positive review. Overstock is not what it used to be. They use to have quality items. Now they're deceitful thieves who falsely advertise their generic no name furniture as brand name items.
I purchased a "Lazy Boy" recliner from them on December 13, 2024, as a Christmas present for my husband. Which Overstock said would be delivered on December 23, yet didn't arrive until December 27. I paid $933.96. When the chair finally came, it wasn't a Lazy Boy at all. In fact, there was no brand listed anywhere. Not on the chair, the box, or the instructions. The instructions actually had typos and some broken English wording. My payment method was PayPal, so I disputed the purchase through them. I requested a partial refund of $600. I came to this price because I did alot of searching to find a recliner with the features I was looking for. Every place I looked, Amazon, etc, the average price for an unknown brand was $300. This chair has no brand name and the quality of the build, etc sure isn't that of a Lazy Boy. It's clearly only worth around $300. I was all set to purchase one almost identical to this recliner from Amazon for $309.99. I changed my mind when I saw Overstock had an actual Lazy Boy with every feature I was looking for. I guess I should have known when it was spelled Lazy Boy and not La-Z-Boy, but I see it misspelled like this often. I know the average cost of a
La-Z-Boy is around $1000, so I was willing to pay that amount for a well known brand that is known to last a long time instead of taking a chance on an unknown brand. And especially when buying it online and not being able to see anything but pictures or sit in it to test it's comfort. But the company lied. And they're guilty of false advertisement!
So as I said, I requested a partial refund of $600 via a dispute I filed through PayPal, stating for Overstock to keep the remaining $333.96 as payment in full for the recliner, which I would keep, as the chair is only worth that much. I explained everything that happened and attached pictures to show that Overstock is indeed advertising this recliner as a Lazy Boy, charging near $1000 for it, but sending out a no name cheap chair to those that order one. Well, Overstock agreed to refund $600, if I returned the chair to them! I paid $933.96.They want to keep $333.96 & take the chair back? How on earth is this justified? I lost for not agreeing to return the chair! So Overstock is getting away with false advertisment and expecting the customer to return the merchandise and not be refunded the entire purchase price! And PayPal sees nothing wrong with this? Obviously not since they ruled in favor of Overstock because I wouldn't agree to return the recliner and allow Overstock to only refund me $600 of the $933.96 I paid for it! Nice to see how well PayPal is doing at backing their customers and protecting them from purchases like this so they don't get ripped off!! I was ripped off big time!!

If I could give it less I would. It's mostly junk you can get off Walmart or any other discount site. Their customer service is impossibly bad. They have no drop off option and charge for returns. This company is so gross and really should go out of business.

I have a $75 gift card from Bed Bath…

I have a $75 gift card from Bed Bath and Beyond. I spent hours shopping on line at the BB&B website and when I tried to use the gift card it would not take it. I called customer service and was informed that OVERSTOCK WILL NOT HONOR THE GIFT CARD!!!!! Why advertise as Bed Bath & Beyond yet not honor their customers??????????????HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!

I purchased an 8 x 10 rug, but color is not what was depicted on website

I purchased an 8 x 10 rug by Linnane, whose photo depicted an olive green and grey rug.
The edges of the rug gave me concern as it didn't appear like it was going to be reflecting the color I thought it was going to be.concerned, I called customer service who wrote up a return label ad advised me of the cost to return it ($75). Kat recommended I open rug all the way, (maybe the olive green was in the middle) & discovered it was not the olive green & grey pictured, but a sea foam green, grey & some dark pine green. Belongs in a coastal setting not with lime green & grey!

Purchased Jewelry

Purchased a piece of jewelry. Everything went through fine at first. Then they canceled it because the shipping address wasn’t the same as the billing address. The form gave me the option to have two different addresses. Thought it was just a one time thing. So I tried again. Nope same thing! Gave up won’t use them again.

LARGE RUGS ARE FOLDED LIKE CLUB SANDWICHESS

Never order rugs from this operation. Large rugs should not be folded. The rug required an extreme amount of effort to steam iron dampen the humped crease embedded in the rug.
Alas we figured we could straighten out /flatten the creases out, still working on it. Stay away from this floundering operations that obviously doesn't give a hoot out about their reputation. I was afraid to decline because given their poor reputation they would keep the rug and my cash.

what happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE

I use to be a fan and No longer after a couple purchases for my new home. I purchased a high end $72 shower curtain the the red color bled into the cream color. When addressed I was told a replacement cannot be done because it was USED!
what does that mean - it was never used it was HUNG to see how it looked in the bathroom. How can you know if you don't put it up in the proper room. I waited over 3 wks for the $21 shower curtain liner to see if it was going to be the correct color if I liked the curtain. they just blamed everyone but themselves for lack of information on this delivery. they told me it was hung up by UPS, when I entered the tracking number on the UPS site the number was invalid. They offered me a $6.68 credit for the shower curtain. sooo frustrating and what happened to customer service with this company. I will never order from them or any of their affiliated companies again.

This is one of the worst companies

This is one of the worst companies. I recently purchased a desk as a Christmas gift for my son. On Christmas eve he opened it and we began putting it together. Unfortunately, the drawer face was broken. I immediately contacted the company, they seemed willing to work with me, and we communicated often for a solution. However, we never got to a solution. The customer service reps drug out the process until it exceeded the time to initiate a return. Once they declined to help find a solution we were beyond the return window. A horrible experience with a horrible company. I will not ever purchase from them again. Completely worthless.

$18 label fee to return a low quailty item

I ordered a ring that looked great in their photo. It was $65 and IRL looked very flat, cheap and poorly designed. When I called to return it, they informed me that the return label is $18. I will never order from this company again
Don't trust the retouched photos of their jewelry.
