Terrible customer service and had to pay all shipping costs with an already overpriced product

**** UK CUSTOMERS BE AWARE****

After taking my money and a very delayed delivery, this is the official response from the this company regarding my order. I feel you should take this in to consideration as (despite what they say), at no stage (including in order confirmation) was I made aware of any additional charges. I accept that this is another BREXIT disaster but nevertheless, the attitude of customer service is appauling! I've now asked my bank to refund my payment and have ordered the racket elsewhere.

If you wish us to proceed with the return, we can request it, but once we receive it, we will deduct the shipping costs and any related expenses (tariffs, fees, etc.).

****UPDATE 14-01***** - in their reply below the company claim this information is clear for anyone to see but as I've outlined to them on numerous occasions, it is not mentioned anywhere at checkout, in the order confirmation and MOST IMPORTANTLY not anywhere that would have made me pay a few £££ more to buy from a competitor, who while slightly more expensive are at least transparent about the final cost you'll pay without any hidden extras or surprises. As per the title of this review - if you're a UK buyer - BUY ELSEWHERE!

Ordered from the UK as with the discount code It became cheaper than normal,

My racket from the site cost £144
Import fees cost £51 - taking my total cost to £195.

You will be charged import fees which is a third of the padel racket so it doesn’t make sense to purchase from here unless you live in Spain yourself and you can avoid the fees..

I know the website will try to respond to this and say they have mentioned import costs it in small writing somewhere on the website which they do. But an extra pop up or something should appear when checking out or else I would not have ordered from Spain when I could buy from the UK for £51 less..

Customer service emails also take the full 24hrs to respond which isn't great when you are looking for a few quick responses to sort the order details out.. also not sure if it makes a difference but on my customs invoice they had put the value of the racket at £171 when I paid £144 incl shipping. Maybe if they put the real value that i paid which is lower, maybe the customs invoice wouldn't be as high as £51..

I was going to give 1 star for the service and site, however the racket did arrive well and it is good so I will give 2 stars.

Went to get a new paddle racket. They helped me really good in the Murcia store.

This company started out great, order and delivery was excellent BUT you need to check the small print as I now have fedex chasing me for import charges… I never noticed anything when I made the purchase…. If I had I would’ve bought this from somewhere else as this is now £40 more expensive with the £60 I have to pay in tax …. I emailed them and I was told it says it on the website so be very careful my Padel purchase is now more expensive than it should’ve been I won’t be buying from these again !!!

I ordered 2 Padel rackets and a padel bag around 3 weeks ago. Initially, I was informed everything was in stock and my order would come in 4-6 business days. However, a week later I had still not received any information on my order, whether it was tracking or my order status, all I had was a confirmation email, with no way to track my order or see the status. I have emailed them multiple times, asking about my order and its status, they simply replied saying one of my rackets isn’t in stock therefore the rest of my order is waiting to be shipped. I don’t understand why they would sell me an out of stock racket in the first place, not to mention it took days and multiple emails to receive a reply. Whenever they did reply they would never give me a straight answer as to what’s happened with my order, it’s been 3 weeks now since I first made my order. I have been telling them since the 3rd of January I want to cancel my order, but every time they reply they never acknowledge that. It’s been 5 days since I’ve sent an email announcing I definetely want to cancel the order. It is my son’s birthday on the 19th, I had made this order on the 24th, surely the order should by now be here. I have now found a new website that has my order available and would ship from 1-2 days. However I need the refund from Padel Nuestro to be able to purchase it, I’ve been trying to cancel via their website however conveniently the webpage to cancel my order does not work. I have emailed them several times and have no reply. Padel Nuestro are a ridiculous company, they have no care whatsoever for their customers and have no professionalism at all, do NOT buy from them, your order will take much longer than expected, and you won’t receive replies, I feel scammed at the moment.

They are scammers!!! Stay away. I have bought products overseas thousands of times and every merchant always discloses shipping costs. This company did not disclose. I paid $390 for a Padel racket and then I got an email saying I had to pay another $336 to have the racket shipped. Who would approve to paying around $700 for one Padel racket?! Then when I asked for refund they said no and I had to go through my credit card company to dispute. A complete waste of time. They have zero sense of quality customer service. If you’re considering buying here, this is your sign to not.

Good Padel racket. Very happy. Delivery was smooth and communication was good. No issues in transport of racket from Spain to England

Update: thanks to the review here on Trustpilot, PadelNuestro reached to me and offered to cancel my order. I understand the issue was with the delivery company but still they offered to manage the issue. I just regret the lack of communication and the fact that you have to post here to reach a solution.

Otherwise, there's always been great products on their website.

It has now been two months since I paid for my order, and I still haven’t received anything. Good product. Slow delivery, but worst was the unexpected charge if over £50 “duties plus fees” on top of the £130 cost, as it was not explained on the website that the racket was imported from Spain. Another unmitigated disaster from the Brexit debacle.

Disappointed as many others have been that additional import duties are payable when purchasing in the UK. Apparently it is in their Ts&Cs and appears in the shopping cart. I did expect it and as such I did not see it! I have just looked again, added the product to the basket and got to the point where I have pressed 'buy' and still nothing shows. I ordered a similar racket previously, it was marginally more expensive but better packaged with a shoe bag included. When you add the duties however (mine was £50 for a racket costing 178 Euros).

When the delivery company failed to deliver my shoes as expected, saying the address was incorrect or incomplete (absolutely not the case) and the package was in their storage, I was stumped. Try as I might, there was no way to contact them. I reached out of Padel Nuestro’s customer service team and the response came quickly. Alexandra addressed my issue promptly and I received the shoes within a few days. I found the response to my concern to be prompt, efficient and pro-active. My thanks and appreciation to Padel Nuestro and Alexandra from their team for restoring my faith in excellent customer service. I will certainly order online from this company again.

E-store works well. All the stuff logically categorized.

Never received my product. Received delivery upcharge of £90 (UK customs) after the order was placed… didn’t read anywhere that that was the case. 7 weeks later, still nothing. Support team are extremely unhelpful. I’d never order from them again.

Their response has been no use at all, telling me to get in touch when I’ve been emailing them weekly.

I believe they have also tried to TAKE DOWN this review even though I already provided my order number to verify it.

Quick delivery and great packaging as usual.
