After a slight error in not sending the paint lacquer a quick call to customer service this was solved within 3 days. Having now used I a highly delighted with the colour and its finish.
I had previously purchased the cars manufacturers touch up paint, which was nothing like my cars colour, Mirage Green, Hyundai’s comment was Nothing not interested
PaintNuts colour is exact and speedy service from customer service. Don’t know who others had been talking to
There was a problem with 1 of the 3 coatings I was provided for my paint colour. It was reported to them and it did take a while to sort but they have sent a replacement so now I can get on with the job as the paint itself is an excellent colour match and blends really well.
The quality and match of this paint was excellent. No bloom and after polish unnoticeable from other half of panel which was painted over previous scratch.
The package arrived with a receipt but no paint.
Neat touch up paint. Choice of pen or brush. Delivery is a bit slow but I suppose it has to be made up to order.
I bought a touch up pen, thought I would go to what seemed like a specialist company as I have quite a rare coloured car. I read that they colour match by numberplate so I put in all the details and bought my pen for roughly £20 including p&p. I went to touch up a scratch on my car, immediately I saw that the colour was too dark so I went to wipe it of with a damp cloth. ( can I just say that my pen came with zero instructions by the way) and it wouldn't come off so now I am left with a dark mess plus the scratch on the paintwork of my car. I emailed the company asking how I can safely remove the touch up paint without damaging the paintwork of my car and I have been completely ignored. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO PRODUCE THE CORRECT COLOUR PAINT FOR YOUR CAR. MY CAR IS COMPLETELY RUINED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. I honestly wish I never bought the pen and just left the scratch because the scratch looked better than the now dark mess. BUYER BEWAR!!
I bought their pen weeks ago, it arrived, and it said shake for three minutes. Which i did, i applied the paint and it was just black when my car is metallic grey, I reached out to them. They kept wasting my time with emails, and if someones interested i'd share the email conversation, it's almost comical. They would give me instructions, i would follow them, they would say sorry, take a picture. i'd take a picture and then they'll send the first set of instructions which i'd already followed again , i replied with "this is a copy of your first email" and then they replied "sorry can we have more photos", like god knows whats going on there. Later, I called them and they said they'll look into it, and they want more car pictures, even though i've sent like 10 at this point. So i sent the car pictures, again. Then they just stopped replying to me. I understand its 14.99, so if you want to take your chances and buy multiple and maybe hope one of the is the right colour. Then they're okay but definitely no trust factor here.
Excellent service, slight shipping delay but customer service were prompt in response to my query and my delivery arrived later in the day.
Bit nervous about using spray can to repair minor wing scuff. But absolutely fantastic colour match and easy to use. Very efficient purchase and supply process. Feel as if I’ve just saved myself two hundred and fifty quid.
Paint match is pretty poor, and the pencil tip just leaks everywhere.
I didn't know the paint code for the car but entered the reg and paintnuts got it spot on.
I haven’t received the paint yet so a bit stupid asking me how you did!!!!
100% satisfied with the paint I ordered for my car. Worked a treat.
Definitely recommend.
I ordered automotive paint from PaintNuts, clearly advertised as an “exact colour match.” What I received was entirely the wrong shade, and worse still, it left my vehicle in a visibly damaged condition. Despite providing photographic evidence and a clear explanation, the company refused to take accountability.
I incurred an additional £50 trying to remove the faulty product, not to mention the time and stress caused. The customer service team repeatedly responded with dismissive and obstructive replies, ignoring the fundamental issue that the paint was not fit for purpose and had caused damage.
Rather than offering a refund or resolution, they demanded irrelevant details like stickers from disposed tins, showing zero regard for the inconvenience caused. After exhausting all reasonable attempts to resolve the issue, I initiated a chargeback and reported the company to Trading Standards.
PaintNuts has demonstrated a complete lack of responsibility and professionalism. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company—poor quality products and even worse customer service.
Garbage paint doesn’t match at all it’s totally different and dull waste of £40 plus the spray tops had come off I would never buy from here again sent two emails and tried to call no reply surprise surprise but with caution or not at all I have given 3 days for them to respond before I did a review they have not so here it is
Well after 3 weeks no product has arrived , emailed and still have not had a reply .They say they respond to email with in one working day, believe me they don’t . Basically they have stolen my money. Avoid this dodgy company.
The paint received was a completely different colour to the one ordered. I totally understand that the order might not match completely but my order was miles out; a bright green rather than the required beige.
Having reached out to their Customer Services, not a squeak from them since!!
