We live in rural Wales but we have a large drive and we got over the year delivered any pallets with trucks .
All drivers are very happy to use our driveway to turn after delivery. Including our neighbours deliveries are using our drive as it is large enough for any truck.
We ordered from Dandy’s some soils.
Last year they delivered and now they told us it is impossible and we should pay for their repeated attempts to deliver.

We had a delivery of two tonnes of wood pellets from White Horse Energy, which uses Palletways to do this. The young driver, Adam, was extremely helpful and polite and even offered to help us shift some of the delivery because he had a few minutes to spare. Wanted to make sure he gets recognition for this.

Dear Customer Service Team,

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding a recent delivery and the unacceptable conduct of the delivery driver.

The driver arrived and waited outside without knocking on my door or contacting me. As I was expecting the delivery, I came outside myself and asked if he was delivering my item. The driver then asked me to help carry the item, which should not be the responsibility of the customer.

In addition, the driver refused to bring the item properly onto my property and instead left it on the street, blocking the pedestrian pathway. This created inconvenience and potential safety risks for others. I also found the driver’s behaviour to be rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction.

This is not the standard of service I expect, and I am very disappointed with how this delivery was handled. I request that you investigate this matter and inform me of the actions you will take to ensure this does not happen again.
Left the item in a peadestrian way blocking peadestrian.obviously I have report it to council now.

Worst delivery experience. Ordered few items from victorian plumbing which as consigned to be delivered by Palletways (consignment number 000000946647 60045025388). It was kerbside delivery and instead of delivering on the pavement on my side of road , the delivery driver just parked on the opposite side and delivered it on the road (cause he cant take it up pavement (maybe 6 cms). The key is this is not true as i got a delivery from Costco just a few days back (same kerbside) and they put it on the pavement. Notice that the size of item was perfectly under the size to be fit in the pavement. The driver didn't want to put effort just enjoy the place where he can drop it from the parking.

Now here comes the cherry on top. The driver kept saying condescending things like "I think you are bullshiting mate", and "if you shallow your pride and ask me, I will help" while i was struggling to move the stuff in the house. (obviously i didn't took his help and rather asked a passerby who kindly helped).

Never in my life I am ordering form any place which uses this as their delivery partner (and victorian plumbing is getting 1 star too, thats the only way a customer can penalize bad behavior).

There isn't much support you can get from after delivery - there is a convoluted contact form and I have messaged but didn't even get a receipt email back. So I am putting this out in public. Consignment number provided above - this happened just an hour ago .. writing in fresh memory, so I can keep all the facts as it is.

Marcello from depot 42 was really friendly and got the pallet on to my stoney drive no issue.

I was due a delivery today with a time slot between 14:00 and 15:00 and several times on their tracking system the times changed. Last time I looked at the tracker (18:00 )my order had been returned to depot because the driver had run out of time this was a 18:00. I haven’t hear from Palletways with a new delivery date.
A phone call would have been nice with an alternative time slot . Really poor service consignment 60044929241

Thank you to John from depot 127 for another delivery today. I was grateful that he found in advance to let me know that he was on his way and to get specific instructions for where my goods need to be delivered to.

Delivery was on time and Marcello the driver was friendly and helpful.
