ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE!

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE!

I placed an order using my regular UK Postal address - the very sane address that I have used countless times now for the past 3 years without any issue to speak of. I submitted through my online order to Panik Designs expecting 2 business days turnaround for the despatch of the item. Unfortunately not so. I placed my order on the 6 August. They eventually responded on the 10 August (3 business days later) to tell me they couldn’t verify my address. I explained to them in detail that I use a forwarding company and that is why it doesn’t come up because the unit number is virtual; however, I assured them there would be no issue in delivery. I thought that would be enough to satisfy them - but no! Another 5 days passed and they messaged me again to say I had to somehow provide them with a different address. By this point in time I had had enough. Postage costs that Panik were charging was expensive enough as it was around £8 for a small keyrIng (yes all this fuss was made over a keyrIng). Ultimately if my item didn’t arrive (and that’s never happened before) then it would be my fault - not theirs as I provided the address …. Anyway really tired of arguing with Panik Designs (Panick is about apt) over the matter, I asked for a refund - no surprises no further response from them and no refund was forthcoming either. Eventually I was forced to lodge a disputed credit card transaction through my bank and they have now advised that they were able to resolve the matter in my favour and that my refund would be pending but I still haven’t seen it yet.

So in summary, rude customer service, appalling treatment, and on top of that they attempted to keep my payment for the nom-delivered item. Absolutely shocking and potential buyers need to be aware of this.

I have been a customer of Panik's for many years and can honestly say I have had nothing but a courteous and professional service at all times. Their products are amazing, their communication too, the whole customer journey is a pleasure time after time without fail. Highly recommended for a quality personal buying experience.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. I ordered a Kartell outdoor table with a 3-4 week lead time. After 7 weeks and 4 emails, they reply telling me that they are experiencing delays ‘sending out orders from Kartell’ and shipment could be another 6-8 weeks.

No unprompted communication from them whatsoever.

Utter waste of time.

Problems? They had a few...

When I ordered and paid for an Italian "designer" bench as a present I was given a three to five week delivery date. I contacted Panik Design after four weeks and was told that production problems had caused a "massive delay" but I should have the bench in two to three weeks. After four weeks I contacted them again and this time they blamed the Italian summer holidays and a shortage of lorry drivers. Another email a week later led to the disclosure that it was in a distribution depot in the UK but nobody seemed to know which one. After yet another week another email elicited the response that TNT had admitted they had lost the bench and Panik Design would refund my money, which they did very quickly. That was it: no mention of trying to find the bench or ordering a replacement, and no suggestion of any compensation for the nine weeks they had had more than £300 of my money. But they did send me copies of a not-very-forceful email exchange with TNT, who seemed to care as little as Panik Design.

I remember this situation very well and as you were advised, the loss of your bench during transit was extremely rare and you were provided with a full refund immediately upon your request. Things in August 2021 were particularly difficult for shipping companies and we would like to thank all our customers who were so patient during this difficult time.

I've now been waiting 1 day shy of 10…

I've now been waiting 1 day shy of 10 weeks for something that was shown as 5 - 10 day delivery on the site. At no point has anyone from Panik proactively contacted me to explain the delay and about half of my emails chasing for information have gone unanswered. After chasing I was told, about three weeks ago, that the items would be delivered in two weeks and guess what...no one has contacted me to explain there would be yet more delays. I was also offered a 10% refund for the delays but that seems to have got lost as well...Shame as they seem like decent people but have clearly failed to deliver on this occasion.

Excellent products and service

For the last four years we have been happy customers!! They do have a great amount of products and if you talk or email them they are always ready to help and are very knowledgeable. We found them after a bad experience with a Kartell table bought on the internet from another supplier. Since then we bought chairs, lights, coatstands and more. Every time the service is great. They accomodate delivery requests as well. One of the great things is that you can actually talk to them (easily) if you wish. I even sent them a picture of their light on our wall. I would recommend without hesitation.
