Very unreliable service used several times fu up several times won't use again bring back steves never thought I'd say that crap service

Absolutely terrible service.
Yesterday a patient was left waiting for a taxi. We called three times to chase it and was told The Dr's Surgery could not be found.
Today we have called three times after a patient was left waiting for an hour! We were told "nobody was there". We asked why the driver did not come in and was told "if your taxi does not arrive in ten minutes you have to call and let us know if you still want a taxi"!!! Service has been shocking since the change of operators. Won't use again.

Terrible service. We booked a taxi 5 days in advance and have had to wait 1.5 hours after our booking time. What’s the point of booking in advance?

I have always used Panther in the past as they were reliable and very professional. However since being taken over by Veesu their service has markedly deteriorated. The app doesn’t allow me to enter my specific house number but gives all the street numbers! So I was charged for the distance along the street even before I had got in the cab! I rang to ask for the correct house number to be entered on the app but nothing has happened. Sadly I won’t be using Panther anymore.

Absolutely terrible driver. We booked a taxi from Cambridge centre for midnight, going back to Milton. We were in a basement location so took a minute or 2 to get upstairs to the street. I walked up to a Panther cab and bent down to ask if it was ours. The driver almost seemed reluctant to open the window. When he did and I found out it was ours, all he could say was that we'd better hurry up. Good welcoming start to our journey. A mile or so along the road I asked him to close his wide open window as I was cold. He closed it only half way so I gently touched his shoulder and asked if would kindly close it right up. With this he barked at me to not touch him, pulled over to the side of the road and said we would have to get out if I was going to swear at him. I had done no such thing! He did carry on the journey and got us home. What on earth are we doing paying for such a despicable service? You very rarely get a polite and friendly driver with Panther anymore, terrible company but not a great deal of choice other than Uber

Absolutely disgusting service! Tried to book a 6 seater taxi, was asked if I would accept 2 cars instead which I agreed to. Then had a call to say actually we can't do that either, the money will go back on your card within a few hours!!!! Unfortunately that's no help when you need the money to pay for alternative transport!!!! AVOID!! BLOODY USELESS!!

Taxi late for our pick up. Operator who answered phone lied continuously. Not drivers fault he was only given the job at the exact same time I’d booked. I had booked the day before. Not the best in Cambridge as they say. The WORST

My wife is registered blind and booked a taxi with PANTHER . Because she was in wrong place AT THE RAILWAY STATION they left her stranded she called them back explaining and they promised the taxi would return - it didn’t return and they never answered again. Despicable, untrustworthy behaviour to leave a vulnerable person ALONE DO NOT USE

Booked for 23:30 at 12pm. Arrived at 00:30 and that was only because I kept phoning and insisting they came asap. DO NOT USE.

I booked a panther taxi from Trumpington park and ride at 1.00 am, the reception told me would be 15 to 20 mins, taxi didn’t arrive and got no feedback called back twice to be told they are busy but would send as soon as they can. Then finally at 2.30am taxi arrived!! My last call to panther was told by operator that could I call another cab as they had no drivers? I was shocked as my calls earlier had explained that I was a women on her own in at the park & ride, I insisted after waiting one and a half hours that he should honour his word! Was so shocked at his attitude will never be using panther again I have been using panther for years but never again, it was an awful experience, the driver that was finally dispatched was lovely and very apologetic but the operator couldnt have cared less. Never use again.

I left a review for Panther on 21st April in relation to a very poor experience the previous evening.

They since contacted me and have investigated, subsequently apologising and admitting fault.

I've dealt with them about the incident more than once since, and while the initial incident left a sour taste, their response to the negative review has been very good and they've made amends (thanks to those involved).

I wanted to share as we too often only hear about the bad experiences.....

Disgusting service, my 88yr old father in law had been rushed to addenbrokes hospital at 4am and after along day of tests and being prodded and poked the hospital arranged a taxi back to Ely at 4pm, it finally arrived at 5.10pm, it was raining and he was in his pyjamas and dressing gown. The driver drove out of the hospital went around the big roundabout and took him back to A&E dept saying he didn't want the job, my father in law was so confused by now and thought he had done something wrong.
The hospital arranged for another car which then took him home. I called panther head office and they couldn't give a damn and lied saying a manager would call me back, surprise surprise they didn't.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

My wife's taxi journey today was from Greenstead to Tymperleys restaurant in Colchester, return.

Panther arrived in plenty of time and the first driver was very good.

After her meeting my wife phoned Panther for her return trip.

It just so happened that the only road to the restaurant (Trinity Street) was now closed for road-works!

Unfortunately my wife does not know Colchester very well but now the magic happened!

Between the reception at Panther and the fantastically patient taxi driver, they talked my wife on the phone to walk up to the High Street so they could pick her up and take her home!

Not a shred of sarcasm, irritation or temper, just a good man doing his very best to get his fare safely home.

I am sure all the taxi firms in Colchester are good but our first call is usually to Panther and having lived here for over 25 years we have always had a great experience with them.

Our driver Noor, arrived well on time. Very friendly and helpful. Nice clean and very comfortable car. We were going to Euston Station from Cambridgeshire on a Sunday afternoon. He was very calm and knowledgeable about the route. We arrived in good time to catch our train. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

First time but the worst, never ever again. Booked a taxi to huntingdon station at 1.30pm for a 2.30 pick up. Waited outside from 2.20 to make sure the driver dont miss me.Luckily he never turned up. Called their office operator put the phone on my face. Ended up missing the train had to wait another hour at the station to catch the next train. Currently on a train while writing this review,not sure will miss the flight or not. I am being forced to give 1 star to submit the post

I find them very unreliable… they are always late, never on time .. it’s a shame there’s no Uber in Colchester, the cab system is ridiculous to say the least

Terrible, scamming company - DO NOT USE!!!
We were at a wedding in Longstowe, near Cambridge and we ordered two taxis to take us back to our airbnb which was only 1.1 miles away.
Panther taxis sent a seven seater, which was ok. However the driver said the fare was £40.20, yes you did read that right!!!, £40.20 to go 1.1 miles.
The driver said it was a set fare by the company and they had charged us for the taxi coming to the venue from Cambridge, a distance of approximately 10.5 miles. We rang the and questioned why we were not told of a set fare when we booked the taxis. They had no proper answer. We checked their website which gives a clear price guide which they had not kept to.
Obviously we did not take the taxi so their scam did not pay off. We will contacting trading standards regarding this type of thing should not happen. We will also be contacting Longstowe Hall (the wedding venue) as they are advertising Panther taxis.

Used these twice yesterday and once 4weeks ago.
Very efficient and reasonably priced

Panther taxi driver entered Labcorp Huntingdon Cambridgeshire today, 24/04/2024.this is a torture facility that hurt animals any company that enters labcorp offers there services to anyone at labcorp Huntingdon are fully complicit and approve of this torture facility & deserve to be named & shamed,
