Always a pleasure
Been using them for almost 4 years now...some 50 shipments or so later, glad to say we've been more than satisfied. As an Ecommerce company finding a reliable supplier was very important for us and on the reccomendation of an associate we thought we'll give parcellink a try.
Apart from a late delivery here or there it's been easy booking our parcels, getting them delivered..if our customers are happy so are we.

Generally a good service
Sent a big parcel of toners to Slovakia...service was ok..cant comment much on the price as i only checked 1 other company and parcellink were cheaper...website was much easier to use...i did have to manually check the order status once as there were some delays because of DHL (hardly surprising) however, all in all a good service...

Just what i needed!
First time i used parcel link was a few days and we're very pleased. it was a pretty important shipment and needed to get it France in time for a wedding.
website was easy to use, prices was great and only had to check status of order once which was unusual because iv had nightmares with previous companies before

Terrible Service 25 days to get pallet from Bolton to Scotland
We used Parcel Link for the 1st time and the first pallet took about 2 weeks to get from Bolton to Scotland. Used them again thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt what a BIG mistake that was!!
Pallet collected on the 23rd June, after around 5 days chased up the "NEXT DAY DHL FREIGHT SERVICE (it was an amazon delivery so expected a slight delay with their booking in system not 25 days)" advised someone would call back (never did) chased again advised was booked in to be delivered at the earliest possible date (still had no confirmation of delivery) chased again and was told it was booked in on a Friday at 8pm (Never got delivered) chased again and got told someone would call back (Never got the call back) chased again was promised a call back (never got the call back again!!)
For a company whose business is a "Parcel and Pallet Delivery Service" this is totally disgraceful.
Shockingly bad delivery service, no customer service to advise of any delays with the delivery and wouldn't even ring us back when we spoke to them chasing the pallet delivery.
One good point is that DHL picked the pallet up from day after it was booked for collection (maybe this is what was meant by NEXT DAY).
Will definitely not be using Parcel Link again!!!

I would first like to apologise for the late reply and for the disappointment in the service you've received. Your concern has been under investigation for the past week and only now I can conclude that this issue has been resolved. As you may or not, be aware that we do NOT carry out the collection or delivery ourselves. This is the courier's responsibility that is chosen by customer in this case, yourself. Having said this, it doesn't mean that its not fully our fault but our soul responsibility is to ensure the smoothness of the transaction whether its with regards to the collection of the consignment or the delivery. We have organised this pallet as instructed, having said this you entered an incorrect order reference number in your first correspondence. This confused the situation further resulting in a further delay with regards to the consignment's delivery. In addition the DHL driver had attempted to deliver this pallet however due to some difficulties he experienced in attempting to deliver, this was called off.
I'm sorry once again for this but I can only assure you that this will not occur again. We have rectified the mistake an have established new grounds of communication with our couriers in order to ensure the smoothness of their orders. Please accept my sincere apology for the service in which you have received. I would also strongly recommend that you use our business again and I myself will ensure that your consignment is handled appropriately.

Competitive prices, would use again.
Their prices are good but I love the website even more! Making a booking was a breeze, regular email notifications kept me in the loop and parcel was picked up and delivered as promised.

best online price for pallets to France
I booked a pallet collection from the England to France about a month ago. It contained my personal belongings, books, china, cutleries, etc. The pallet was collected on the 28th and delivered without any fuss 4 days later in perfect condition. The tracking number worked OK through the DHL's website, however it doesn't bring as many updates as parcel service. All in all a great service at a very decent price, so I would not hesitate to recommend or use the company again.

Unreliable, expensive and worst customer experience ever
We paid quite a lot of money for a 3-day delivery to Europe and after many complications - see below - they couldn't even apologize for their mistakes and were not willing to give us any refund. We will never ever use their service again.
What happened:
1. Tuesday morning - booked pick up for Tuesday afternoon and delivery on Friday - nobody came to pick up parcel.
2. Tuesday afternoon - contacted Parcel Link were told pick up would come on Wednesday - were assured that delivery would still happen on Friday
3. Wednesday - pick up in the morning by wrong company - contacted Parcel Link were still assured parcel would be delivered on Friday
4. Friday - no delivery! Parcel Link assured us delivery would happen Monday morning.
5. Monday - no delivery! Parcel Link blamed DHL and assured us delivery would happen Tuesday morning.
6. Tuesday - no delivery! Took Parcel Link hours to track parcel and were finally told parcel will be delivered Wednesday.
7. Wednesday - parcel finally arrived. Parcel Link did not apologize and did refuse to give us any refund.

Even if your name doesn't come up on any of our bookings we know you are referring to booking 10005042439. The person we have actually dealt with is someone called Barbara Pintaske. The collection was from Devon going to Sweden, it was one item at 30 kg , an exhibition stand. You maybe wondering how was it so easy to find these details even if you have never entered any references, postcodes, where the goods where collected from or going to... Quite simply because out of the many thousands of jobs we handle every month only very few end up having issues.
I would like to disagree to your comments.
Firstly, we did apologise, not once, not twice, but on a quite few occasions...For you to say that we cound't even apologise is wrong to say the least.
Secondly, the goods were collected by the wrong carrier, City Link and dropped off at our Heathrow depot. We did send you DHL labels and instructed you to give these goods to DHL and no one else in order to speed things up for you, however the goods were handed over to City Link by one of your colleagues so this was the first reason the delivery was delayed. The second reason is to do with DHL, it just took them an extra day in terms of transit time.
We did explain very clearly to your colleague that the service you had used was not guaranteed and it could happen that some deliveries are delayed. We had acknowledged the fact the goods were not going to be delivered when you expected them to be, however because you had used a non-guaranteed service there wasn't much we could have done.
Furthermore, apart from apologising on many occasions as a gesture of goodwill we also offered your colleague a 20% discount on all your future bookings. This, combined with our very competitive rates would have seen you pay some of the lowest rates in the industry for all your international and domestic shipments, well below what an average company needs to pay for their deliveries.
We had explained that our terms and conditions were very clear as far as refunds were concerned especially for the type of service you had used and that we cannot make exceptions, otherwise we would do the same with everyone. With this in mind, we believe we did everything possible to resolve the situation in an amicable manner.
We can understand that maybe your comments were made without knowing the full facts, or maybe you weren't briefed as far as the communication between us and your colleague was concerned. In any case we can provide you with all the emails we've exchanged, at least you can see that we did apologise and offer you alternatives.

Cheap for large items but constant chasing required
Firstly: This is not a wholly negative review. They are superb at providing really good delivery rates for large parcels that other will not even quote for. Once the parcel is collected the service is good.
However. Collections are a nightmare ! Every time I use them I have to chase for at least 3 days to get the collection done. Always apologetic and polite responses but really, please, just sort out City Link and get them to collect on the day they are supposed to !! Oh, also, one City Link driver showed up, made a real fuss about the size of the parcel then commented "Well, I hope it's not fragile" My partner pointed out to him the 4 miles of FRAGILE tape on it at that point. The parcel arrived damaged ! Parcel Link are good as a coureir booking company but City Link are not as good !!

Overall, Great shipping service
I used Parcel-Link to ship a set of speakers from the UK to Israel.
The packages arrived @ perfect condition 5 days (!) after the seller shipped them.
* The tracking numbers are not accurate at all, When I received a phone call from the customs that the packages arrived and I'll have to pick them up- the tracking number status was "still in the UK"....

VERY VERY POOR
I try my best not to use Parcel-link but because of the size of a couple of my parcels i used to have no choice.
There is always a problem, non-collection, damage and they will not put a claim in on your behalf irrespect of the insurance offered.
I have now found an alternative carrier and will never use them again.KEEP AWAY THEY WILL END UP COSTING YOU MONEY AND CUSTOMERS.
