Absolute disgrace
Absolute disgrace, was picking my autistic daughter from university, parked in a hatched area for deliveries, received a £60 ticket as I was there for 1 hour, there were no other designated parking spaces, what the bloody hell am I supposed to do. Shame on Parking eye, and shame on Winchester university for allowing such con artists to!!!
Thieves
Thieves. Watch them steal money from you for parking at 5pm at a supermarket parking space where you have been shopping. Nice one. And thanks Aldi for allowing crooks to work for you. Won’t be Aldi again.
Abuse of power

How does a rogue company like parking…
How does a rogue company like parking eye get all these NHS contracts? Clearly not by being a company that operates appropriately. What are they doing to get the contracts from the numerous NHS trusts that contract them. All highly suspicious and it needs investigation. Looking at all these dreadful experiences from people accompanying patients or patients themselves, this is a UK scandal that should be acted upon immediately. This company is being paid upwards of £500k per annum and much more at various NHS trusts just to run the car parks on top of that they are issuing thousands of fines weekly to patients, patients relatives and staff. They don't care if the family have a dying relative including children they issue the fine and the stress of appealing fines issued is made so deliberately difficult on their appeals system few people succeed in getting fines cancelled and they refuse most appeals. They lie about camera footage regularly and the police will not get involved even if you report them to the police so currently they are getting away with fraud. The tax payers are both paying for this diabolical company to rake in vast profits and to be harassed by this company when using NHS facilities. Other government departments also use this company. I have seen first hand the distress this company is causing NHS patients and relatives as well as staff. I have personally experienced receiving a fine by this company for staying overnight at a supermarket carpark when I made 2 separate visits to the supermarket on 2 separate days. They refused to acknowledge this and I am waiting for claims court hearing to try to highlight the disgraceful fraudulent claim. Please highlight all of your cases against this company to your MP and to investigative journalists because this is a huge scandal
Absolutely appalled by this company
Absolutely appalled by this company. I received a parking fine after having a procedure done at the hospital in Oxford.i know full well I paid the parking so I appealed the fine and sent proof of payment via my bank statement. They agreed that I had paid, but not enough for the duration of my stay- How on earth is that even possible, when you enter your reg number when you leave the hospital. And the machine tells you your stay duration and the charge. Also the barrier would not open if I had not paid. It’s not like your even able to chose the amount, the machine does that for you.
I then sent a complaint and it was like they didn’t acknowledge any of my explanation and just pretty much said the exact same thing as when I appealed- that I did not pay enough for the duration. (So no one seemed to realise that is not even possible??? ) and this is the end of the complaints procedure and that I
Have to pay the fine! Absolutely unreal. I can see there have been similar situations printed in the daily mail newspaper. How on earth is this allowed to carry on. Absolute scam of a company. I have contacted to seek legal advise on this issue. But it sounds like most people give in and pay in the fine in fear of courts/ bayliffs getting involved. which I refuse to do, I will not be bullied by some company who hide behind letters & threats and have no actual way to communicate with someone by phone. Disgusting company, who seemingly are not being held accountable for any of these incidents? How much more money do they need to scam out of people before something is done about it.
Been in their complaints department not…
Been in their complaints department not due to a parking fine and they claim they have lost my original complaint and has taken over 4 months to respond responded in May, put in complaint in january they are untrustworthy and a unprofessional company if their was a zero stars they would be getting it one of the worst companies and the NHS should review their contract as waiting 4 months for a reply is just crazy
Awful experience of an unavoidable situation
Awful experience. Parked in a car park at Morningside Arena, Leicester, operated by Parking Eye Ltd. Arrived at 8.03 am, paid for 10 hours, ticket expired 18.03.
We were at the PDC Womens Series, the event finished at 17.50 pm, which gave time for us to leave site.
Upon leaving, there were 2 elderly ladies in the car park, their car battery was flat, so I offered to assist them, as I had some jump leads. Unfortunately we were unable to help, and she called in the AA to assist her. We left site at 18.17, and admit that I completely forgot that I had run 14 minutes over. Had I realised at the time, I would have paid the extra fee for the hour.
Parking Eye issued me with a £100 parking fine, for 14 minutes. I tried to appeal to their better nature, and have received my response. NO... There was no way was I going to leave 2 elderly ladies stranded on their own, in a deserted car park, in a strange city, and as a result Parking Eye Ltd upheld the fine. As a good will gesture they allowed me to pay the reduced sum that early payers get which is £60. On a personal level, lets hope their relatives would never have been in this position, and someone offered to help them....
Disgusting behaviour to charge people…
Disgusting behaviour to charge people who put their vehicle registration number in their stupid system it says it’s registered when it hasn’t and then you end up with a fine!! This is a scam!! Even worse when it’s someone with a chronic health condition visiting their local GP service which is paid for by the taxpayer. This is extortion and fraud!!
My vehicle is registered with the…
My vehicle is registered with the pilgrim hospital trust disabled parking section
I was unable to park recently while attending an appointment for a cancer scan we always park in the disabled base sections but unfortunately the area was very very busy so I therefore parked higher up into the main car parking area. I was there for exactly 1 hour and about 10 minutes thinking no more I left the establishment and today I received the parking fine from the parking eye company car is registered and I understand it is free parking for disabled persons parking, is company is a money making machine and should be looked i into by the government and should be folded be cause I have read there’s so many complaints against this company they’re scammers just parasites stealing and ripping people off
I work at a hospital and they fined me…
I work at a hospital and they fined me while I have a parking permit. Having to appeal a fine after a week of 12 hour shifts is just draining. They are leeches that try and suck money out of hardworking people.
ParkingEye’s real product isn’t parking…
ParkingEye’s real product isn’t parking management. It’s £100 invoices.
The company has built a reputation on issuing charges to ordinary motorists who often have no intention of breaking any rules and, in many cases, don’t even realise they’ve allegedly done so until weeks later.
In my case, I stopped to use a Tesla Supercharger for 30 minutes, stayed in my vehicle throughout, and later received a £100 charge. No warning. No obvious indication at the charger itself. Just a demand for money.
The sheer volume of similar complaints online speaks for itself. When the same story is repeated over and over by different people, the problem isn’t the drivers.
ParkingEye may be operating within the letter of the rules, but it has mastered the art of turning confusion, poor signage and technical breaches into profit.
Legally compliant? Perhaps.
Customer-focused? Not even close
I can only imagine the toxic culture inside a company like this
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. I appealed it, and they said I did not provide evidence, but did not contact me for
The evidence: where do I provide evidence if I have nowhere to provide it? They have parking for customers at ASDA; it is a scam and disgusting.
Charged Tesla at holiday inn express…
Charged Tesla at holiday inn express Preston. No signage to say charges applicable for the charging bays apart from inside the hotel which you would never go into. No signage on Tesla chargers apart. Parking pay machine also not working. Appealed hoping common sense would prevail. I was hoping for too much. Absolute joke of a company.
Jobsworth scumbags.
Discriminatory against amputee
How anyone can work for this company and feel proud of what they do is alarming. The complete lack of compassion and common sense is astonishing and embarrassing.
My disabled father and I entered one of their car parks and were there for no more than five minutes. We quickly discovered that payment could only be made via an app, which we were unable to access. My father is an amputee and only has one leg, so simply getting him out of the car and organised with his prosthetic takes additional time. We attempted to find an alternative way to pay, realised we could not access the app, and immediately left the car park without using the facilities. Our total time on site was approximately five minutes.
Despite this, we received a PCN. I provided evidence of my father's disability, including his Blue Badge and proof of his amputation, demonstrating why additional time was required. We had every intention of paying for parking had we been able to do so, yet the company showed absolutely no discretion, understanding or grace.
The treatment of disabled visitors is deeply concerning. Penalising an amputee and their carer for spending a few minutes attempting to understand a payment system is not only unreasonable but is discriminatory.
Companies that treat disabled customers this way eventually earn the reputation they deserve. Judging by the number of similar complaints, I am clearly not the only person who has experienced this lack of empathy and common sense.
I hope anyone considering using these car parks reads reviews like this carefully and thinks twice before supporting a business that appears to value penalties over fairness and accessibility.
Disgusting company I have been sent two…
Disgusting company I have been sent two parking fines for the same parking....??? Try and ring them and talk to someone, impossible...!!!!
It's so hard to contact them
It's so hard to contact them, no chat, no email, and they reply when is to late to help you.
Disappointing.
I had difficulty with a jet wash not…
I had difficulty with a jet wash not working properly at an Asda Express in Mold so I was there over 30 mins washing my car!!! Not a small car. I then received a fine in the post as apparently you cannot spend more than 30 mins washing your car. I appealed and they declined. Said I could go to POPLA but if I did so and I lost they would charge me £100. Think it’s disgusting. I will not use that store or service again
