1 star is 1 star to many 🤬 i have a disabled badge whilst under going cancer treatment and the machine in the reception wouldn't work!! I did display my badge in the car window. Then I received a unexpected parking fine I have appealed and still waiting for a response 1 week later!! Then Parking Eye sent me a reminder!! I know they are a business but the have no morals where seriously ill people are concerned, having cancer does not only strip you of your health but it also strips you financially when you cant work without these robbing t@#ts taking more off you due to a faulty machine. I have resorted to paying the fine as I feel that my appeal will slip through the system and I will be penalised with a higher charge. Parking Eye you are a disgrace 🤬
Disgraceful
Even when you can prove you had valid parking, they'll find any way to give you the maximum penalty.
Everything that is wrong with the system.
Everyone associated with this company should be ashamed.

Scammers i drove on a hotel carpark by mistake and left within 2 mins how can they give me a CCJ ? Makes it seem like i got credit when i never had a loan ever … they should be shut down they just make things up and can give u a CCJ with zero evidence absolutely insane
Greed
Pulled into the Delta Marriott hotel Swansea carpark by mistake (visiting the area and just followed P for parking signs). Once inside found information to pay by Evology App. Took us almost 20 mins to sign up to the App as took forever to load and send verification email. Eventually the app took a pending fee of £1.63 from us but then the app said could not complete verification, we tried four times and we then gave up and left. 10 days later we got a PCN from Parking Eye for parking on private property for £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. Upon reading the reviews for Evology (all same common issue of app failing - it was very stressful amd not all all a simple process), they all say the same thing - no chance at a fair appeal and once you do try the full fee is payable so felt no choice but to pay the fine. An absolute joke and bully tactic. Plus you can't even complain to BPA because you have to make a complaint to Parking Eye first and they do not have any contact details on website. My opinion is they have partnered with unreliable apps in the hope to scam people to make more money. Pure greed. We found another carpark opposite for just £3 all day using the mi permit app. Nice and simple and no stress. Why can't they all be like that?

My contempt for this company goes…
My contempt for this company goes beyond seething for their lack of compassion and scamming nature. I was admitted to a hospital for an operation which should have meant a 3 hour stay - this turned into a 11 hour stay before my wife could finally pick me up at 10 to midnight from the hospital - she arrived worried as hell to find an empty carpark, no one on reception and a buzzer to the duty nurse who told her to park outside the front entrance as I needed a wheelchair to get to the car. After pick up she drove off. 2 weeks later a "fine" from this bunch of crooks as she "had not registered the car for the parking at the hospital" - needless to say I'm fighting this all the way - they should be ASHAMED of how they operate ....
Scam artists and fraudsters imo
These lot are just scam artists, absolute garbage. Went to park, they only allow you to pay via their website or app, both of which dont let you enter a location. I was there 6 minutes, got a fine, appealed and it was rejected. Total frauds.
Absolutely awful experience with…
Absolutely awful experience with ParkingEye in Clacton. One of the payment machines was completely out of order, with the screen clearly showing it wasn’t working, yet they still issued a parking charge notice. I provided timestamped photographic evidence and explained the situation honestly, but they ignored common sense and pushed ahead anyway.
The car park was poorly lit at night, making it difficult to even see alternative machines or signage properly. Instead of acknowledging their own equipment failure, they blamed the driver for not magically finding another way to pay.
What’s most frustrating is the complete lack of fairness or discretion. It feels less about managing parking and more about extracting money wherever possible. Even after showing evidence, they continued pursuing the charge aggressively.
Would strongly advise anyone parking here to be extremely careful and document everything. Terrible customer experience and zero understanding when genuine issues occur.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY
I would give zero stars if possible.
ParkingEye are on a par with the notorious plumber on here for scamming — the difference being that the plumber backed off before things went any further.
When companies choose to operate outside even basic Geneva‑Convention‑level standards of fairness, they shouldn’t be surprised when the response takes on a no‑prisoners‑taken approach.
Parking eye should be held accountable
Parking eye should be held accountable, for the money they are taking from people who genuinely have not committed the charge they apply for, I had broken down in my car in the home bargains and range car park in Sutton in ashfield, RAC came out and couldn't starty car they then push started me to get it going out of the car park, I then went in to see the manager and explained I had broken down he took my details and said if any letters come he can get them cancelled, so I took the letter from parking eye they took the reference number and my number plate and said they will put it through and cancel it as it was a breakdown, 4 more times I did this, each time details taken and said to ignore as they have done it through the shop, I then received a court letter I took this in they did it again, and them I send parking eye a letter and details of RAC breakdown I heard nothing back, 5 months later I receive a letter from court I was supposed to fill in, at the time I was in and out of hospital with my daughter with her epilepsy, and tests, so I forgot to send it 1 month later ccj against me I have to pay £237 to cancel it off my credit score or pay £300 plus to get it cancelled through court. And they ignored response to the other letter too that I sent, I have sent another today by signed mail.

I went to the hospital several times to visit my husband and each time I paid my parking the day of the 14 /04/26 I went and paid my ticket£ 6.40 for the duration I was there all fine asked for a receipt but the machine had none to issue one week later I got a fine I paid on my card so I sent all the information they requested from the bank showing the date and that it was paid i got a reply stating that my appeal had been not granted as not enough evidence that I had paid but it was my bank statement with the time and the date of paying I HAVE SINCED PAYED THIS BUT IM NOT HAPPY THAT THIS HAPPENED WHEN CLEARLY HAVE ALREADY PAID SO ENSURE YOU MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT OF SOME KIND OR PICTURE AS SENDING A STAMENT FROM YOUR BANK IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM RIP OFF BIG STLYE NOT HAPPY .
Your parents are proud of your job
Stayed 11 minutes over my time even though I have a permit for 5 hours stay (I used less than 2). Turns out I didn't have a permit for my permit. Appeal was rejected due to lack of evidence despite being sent the exact evidence showing my permit. Surrey Park gym
Parkingeye does not take into account the amount of time it takes to get parked and get out of a very crowded car park where people are queueing for spaces and to get out.
The fact that £50 is the discount payment for 11 minutes over time in a crowded car park that took over 5 minutes to get in and another 5 minutes to get out of is made worse by the fact that the full charge after 14 days is £100.
Plus, if you appeal the discount does not apply if you are found to be liable for the charge. So there is no incentive to appeal. It is hard to prove the car park is so crowded that there are queues everywhere to find spaces. Parkingeye would not take account of this because it does not judge how long you are parked for.
So I paid the fine but will be making sure people are aware of this.
laughably corrupt
laughably corrupt. took my mother to appointment for suspected cancer, paid parking for 2 hours, payment has come out of my account 2 days later, parking eye systems not registered the payment therefore fine received. appeal made, unsuccesful
Unclear and outrageous cost
I was at a hospital appointment on a Sunday. It was completely unclear how and where to pay for the parking and there was no-one to ask. As a result I have a parking fine of £100 which I consider outrageously high.
Absolute fraudsters
Absolute fraudsters
Those companies should not exist and should be investigated for trying to extort money from people who are legally parked
Damaged my car and refused to deal with…
Damaged my car and refused to deal with it the my insurance company has dealt with it hopefully they take them to court and deal with it, states didn’t have a blue badge right under where the placed the “invoice” was a blue badge perhaps they should’ve gone to specsavers and as normal the appeal got rejected by them even though they own picture shows it
Falsely accused
I would really have liked to award no stars but this is not an option offered.
This company demanded a penalty payment and falsely accused me of parking in one of the areas they watch, when I had absolutely and correctly paid the fee with the payment recorded on my bank statement.
A curt letter, without apology or explanation, has since cancelled this charge.
I will seek to avoid parking anywhere where this company is involved in the future.
