I went to see Marty Suprem this…

I went to see Marty Suprem this Saturday at the cinema in Haarlem and right in the middle of the screening they made a 15 minute break.
At the most intense moment of the film.
This is absolutely unacceptable. Only small provincial cinemas do something like this. If you introduce this practice permanently my partner and I will boycott your cinema.
I am so shocked and so furious that I have already called and messaged all my friends to tell them how the management’s desire to sell more popcorn completely ruined the experience. I did not come to watch a Marvel blockbuster. I came to see a serious film that could potentially win an Oscar.
Interrupting a serious film at a crucial moment destroys the emotional buildup, the immersion and the artistic integrity of the work.
To the manager who came up with this idea I truly hope this decision does not earn you a yearly bonus. You have offended all the gods of cinema by inserting a break in the middle of a film.
Bring it back to the way it was. Stop prioritizing snack sales over the cinematic experience.

Horrible

Horrible. Last December my kids went to balexert to watch a movie. They paid at the machine but didn’t get any tickets. The lady at the cashier desk told them it will be refunded if we write an email. They had to pay again for the tickets this time with cash. The email we sent was never responded to and no one seems to know how we can get the money back. This isn’t cool. It’s upsetting and we are never going there again.

Abonnement money taken extra time

I have an abonnement with Pathé for many years. Everything went well till last december when I've got taken money from my bank account. It was not a mistake as the abonnement was not taken properly. But I had to chase them as they took the monthly amount many times (3 times extra) and only offered a voucher for this mistake...I asked for something more as I did not find this a fait compensation as it was their mistake...

Horrible

Horrible, we paid through the machine and we didn't got our cards but our money was taken. We went to the girl at the cashier and she told us the money would be refunded and we paid it to her a second time. Unfortunately, the money was not refunded despite the email we sent.

Pathetic Service & Constant Errors

Pathe NL: Lack of professionalism. Ignorance & Incompetence.

Everything works extremely slowly!
Very poor user experience!

They only know how to increase prices, but never fix the problems. Never!

Whenever I try to book film tickets with my Unlimited subscription, I constantly run into sudden and annoying errors without any explanation.
If I try again, the system tells me that I have already booked a ticket for that time slot – which is completely false.

As a result, it becomes impossible to book a ticket at all, whether I use their website or their app.

Because of this terrible and frustrating experience, my family and I are seriously considering canceling our Pathé subscriptions and switching to other, more reliable streaming services at home.

What we see here is a total lack of professionalism, combined with ignorance and incompetence.

If Pathé continues down this road, bankruptcy will be waiting for them sooner or later!

Uiterst onbeschofte manager

Uiterst onbeschofte manager. De manager vond het leuk om gemeen tegen ons te doen.

I've never experienced such meanness as a customer before. The manager took joy in telling me and my two small kids that we couldn't enter the movie theatre 10 minutes late. We were treated like rats.

So they have a weird rule( never ever…

So they have a weird rule( never ever experienced in other countries) that if you reach 15 min late the movie starts you are not allowed to watch the movie. And moreover this useless rule is never mentioned in the ticket you book nor in the email.
In order to increase your productivity you really need tp work on this mprovement else All the Best

Never visting pathe again

Never visting pathe again. Cancelled my unlimited but some how they charged the debt amount and after rejecting, NIB is sending threats. Pathetic service.

If I could I would give this theatre a…

If I could I would give this theatre a big fat zero btw it’s the one located across the feijenoord stadium. We booked the seats 11,12, and 13 got there some fat ass is sitting in my seat number 11 it turns out the seat is double booked. Now I have no seat and can’t sit with my siblings. Thanks pathe for ruining my movie night and my trip I should’ve watched John wick in California.

Horrible Nutcracker ballet show

I watched (or rather, tried to watch) the Nutcracker streamed from the Royal Opera House London on the 8.12.2022. The streaming went awful! Both the picture and the sound were interrupted every 10 seconds, it was a punishment to watch. But I didn't leave, which was apparently a mistake. During the break, I asked what was going wrong and they said that they chose the wrong broadcaster channel and they were going to change it. They did indeed, and the second half went smoothly.
I still had an unpleasant feeling about the show the next day, so I asked the customer service for a refund and provided heaps of proof of how terrible the show was. They said that because it has been watched, they couldn't do anything for me. In the end, they offered me a popcorn voucher (useless, because I'm not going to Pathe anymore).
So beware, if it's bad, request the refund immediately!
And @Pathe, I strongly believe that if you provide services of inadequate quality, your customers are entitled to a refund according to the Dutch law.
What a scam.

Every cinema offers movies but at this one I give 1 star for the fact that we aren't allowed to go out to get some fresh air during the movie. You really think we need this stress in our life specially when we go out for fun?? I want and I am FREE to go out anytime I need to to get fresh air. Its unacceptable that in cinema suddenly we lose our right.
