These survey systems are vulnerable to so much bias and abuse. Unhappy people enjoy complaining and could easily sabotage companies. In their current form they should not be allowed in my view.... See more

Absolutely useless. They just close a case with no opportunity to redress. The company sent out the goods, courier says they were delivered. This was not the case. The intermediate courier passes it... See more

So bad of them for not allowing some others countries apart from their selected companies, very bad service.

Their customer service; their ability to fairly and transparently resolve disputes; and easily accessing money paid on your account are now things of the past! It is a bother to deal with PayPal now.

PayPal fees are killing my budget.

Please, all employees and bosses who read this, please feel pity for your employee and do not use PayPal anymore. They have the biggest charge in the world; they charge when the boss pays the employee, and they charge when the employee withdraws the money, and the charges are really a big amount. My Boss gave me $800, and PayPal deducted and left $701... FCK U PAYPAL

An excerpt from my complaint to PayPal

"Paypal customer service agents informed me, when asked, that this payment was subsequently disputed causing the limitations to be placed on my account. After extensive consultation, I have been told the only protocol currently in place to remove said limitations is by supplying credit card details and photographic proof of its posession that I do not own nor have access to.

This makes resolving the issue with my account limitations a rather difficult undertaking. The procedural directives that I were given upon seeking guidance from the customer support assistants to restore it's functionality and usability feel inadequate and incomprehensible. Bar the exceptions of fraud, the circumvention of privacy and protected data, espionage, larceny, coercive, extortionate, criminal offences, immoralities or alternative questionable behaviours, I fail to understand how I am expected to comply with the requested instructions. When explaining the infeasibility asked of me, I was instructed with the same exact guidance as before with a total disregard for the inanity of the conversion we were having.

This identical, indistinguishable, idiotic, incessant and imbecilic interview inevitably initiated insanity and infinite institutionalisation insomuch immediate indefinite incarceration was imperative.

The calculated cognately compatible consultation corresponded comparably. Consequently concocted, cloned and counterfeit conspiracy characterising conversation contrived to cause ceaseless choleric caged custodial confinement for clearly conspicuous certifiable craziness.

Hitherto an adequate resolution to my current predicament does not seem to be forthcoming. The customer service agents seem unable to enlighten me with any possible avenue to rectify and/or resolve this conundrum. They appear to lack the ability to diverge from their script when advising and reiterating identical unhelpful instructions in perpetuity, disregarding all of the reasons I have stated above as to why I cannot give them information and documentation that i do not have. This concludes and begins the same incessant, identical and infinite orbitual nonversation™ only serving to hasten and verticillate my inevitable and unequivocal decline down the immutable spiral of deterioration that has degradated and decimated what imperceptible and insufficient little remains of my erstwhile sanity.

Within the ebb and flow of this tide of lunacy, I shall subsist and endure ad infinitum evermore unless, perchance, wherefore the love of all things just, thou will bequeath thyself with the ameliorating panacea that is the knowledge epithetical towards linear movement departing the ecliptic enclosure I have been ensnared within. To conclude all I covet is emancipation from the insanitarium™ of your creation.

Thus is my plight."

Refusal of making a complaint

Paypal does not follow English laws, they do not understand english and they do not understand english conversations.
Refusal of making a complaint about the service is fundementally flawed.
Before signing up personally or for business make sure you are not being penalised

Cannot use simple Arithmetic

I sent all the evidence required for a refund from Purdy & Figg to PayPal as P&F couldn’t work out the simple arithmetic. PayPal has found in favour of the incompetent company not once but twice! I really have to question the capability of PayPal as a finance option as basic arithmetic is beyond them both!

PayPal doesn't protect their customers …

Don't use PayPal for any of your purchases. The app sends you the wrong information about the status of your package. If you don't receive the item and try to dispute it, they will just side with the seller without asking for photo proof of the delivery. There is no phone number to call to speak with anyone. I have deleted my PayPal account!

PayPal sent my money into someone…

PayPal sent my money into someone else’s bank account. I typed in the wrong account number and because that happens sometimes there is a verification process. Well I never got the verification because I typed in the wrong number. Well they sent the money anyway into some else’s account. I filed a claim and they denied it. Don’t use PayPal unless you want to get ripped off.

Extremely Poor Protection & Ignored Evidence — Lost All Trust in PayPal

I’ve been a PayPal user for years, but my recent experience has completely destroyed my confidence in their service. An unauthorized transaction appeared on my account for a digital item from a merchant I have never used and have no account with. I reported it immediately, removed all payment methods, and told PayPal clearly that it was not my purchase.

Despite this, PayPal ignored my messages, refused to treat the payment as unauthorized, and even sent incorrect automated emails claiming they had charged a “backup credit card” that I do not have. I had removed every funding source from my account, yet PayPal still processed the transaction and forced money out of my bank card.

Their customer service gave contradictory information, closed my case without explanation, and refused to provide any meaningful support. The merchant also refused to help, and PayPal still sided with them without sharing any proof that I supposedly received anything.

In the end, I had to open a dispute with my bank because PayPal failed to protect me, failed to investigate properly, and failed to stop an unauthorized charge — even after I warned them.

PayPal’s Buyer Protection is unreliable, their system messages are inaccurate, and their support feels automated and dismissive. I expected security and trust. Instead, I got stress, lost money, and total disregard for my concerns.

Extremely disappointing service. I will avoid using PayPal whenever possible from now on.

PAYPAL is a SCAM company

PAYPAL is a SCAM company! They promote scam and fraud! The moment you report a scam or fraudulent client, Paypal will block YOUR account. Get this straight - they block the victims account, and allow their scam supplier to continue operating! Their criminal clients generate more revenue and commission for them than an honest consumer. So the honest consumer gets blocked to protect their scamming clients! STAY away from Paypal!

PayPal Buyer Protection Is a Joke – Zero Support Even in Clear Cases of Faulty & Wrong Items

I used PayPal because they advertise buyer protection, but they do NOT protect you at all. My order included items that were clearly faulty, and one item was completely the wrong product – something I didn’t even purchase. That is fraud, yet PayPal still refused to step in or reopen my case.

Despite providing evidence, photos, and a full explanation, PayPal closed the case without helping me in any way. Their “protection” is absolutely worthless when you genuinely need it.

I’m now left dealing with a seller who keeps giving excuses, refusing refunds, and dragging this out for weeks.

I’ll be closing my PayPal account after this experience. If you’re using PayPal thinking they will protect you from fraud or faulty goods, think again. They won’t. Terrible service and zero accountability.

URGENT REFUND TRACKING FAILURE

URGENT REFUND TRACKING FAILURE - CASE OVERDUE.

I urgently require the **Acquirer Reference Number (ARN)** for three transactions totaling approximately **16,259.97 EGP** from Pippit (CapCut).

The situation is:
1. **Refund Confirmed:** The seller confirmed the refund was issued on **October 18, 2025**.
2. **Funds Missing:** The funds have **NOT** reached the cardholder's bank account (FAB).
3. **Refusal to Provide ARN:** Both the seller and PayPal refuse to provide the ARN, which is the only document needed to track the money stuck in the banking network.
4. **External Chargeback Started:** I have formally escalated this via an **External Chargeback** through my bank (FAB), and the merchant confirmed the process is in progress.

**Action Required:** Please immediately provide the ARN for the following transactions to resolve the stuck funds:
* **ID 1 (Oct 10):** 2MR81568M66046327
* **ID 2 (Oct 11):** 5L852342X1025844E

SCAMMED USING XOOM VIA PAYPAL

SCAMMED USING XOOM VIA PAYPAL – NO PROTECTION
I recently paid for a service using the PayPal app. As far as I understood, I was paying through PayPal, which I’ve always trusted to provide buyer protection.

However, the recipient sent me what turned out to be a Xoom account, something I was not familiar with. I believed it was simply another PayPal payment method. I had no idea that Xoom is meant only for sending money to people you know (friends/family), and not for paying for business services. There was nothing to indicate this during the payment process.

The problem:
The recipient never delivered the service. When I contacted PayPal, they told me to contact Xoom. When I contacted Xoom, they said they could only block the recipient from receiving more money but could not help with a dispute or refund.

This has been extremely frustrating. I used the PayPal app, a brand I trust for protection, yet because the payment was routed through Xoom (a sister company that operates separately with different processes), I am left with no buyer protection at all.

I’m asking for this issue to be reviewed, as users should clearly be warned when a payment is not protected. I genuinely hope someone will take responsibility and help resolve my case.
