Their customer service; their ability to fairly and transparently resolve disputes; and easily accessing money paid on your account are now things of the past! It is a bother to deal with PayPal now.

The background news is too much for me asked to speak to a manger then then cancelled the call
I'm trying to get a refund as an item has not been delivered
This is a waste of time as PayPal do not answer to any of there messages

Incredibly frustrating experience trying to set up a business account with PayPal.

Incredibly frustrating experience trying to set up a business account with PayPal.
What should have been a quick and straightforward process turned into over an hour on the phone, speaking to five different support agents. Not one of them was able to resolve the issue properly or take ownership of the situation. I was simply passed from person to person, repeating myself each time, with no real progress made.
On top of that, the system itself is full of unnecessary restrictions around emails and account setup, with no clear guidance on how to move forward when something goes wrong.
It’s genuinely surprising that a company built around payments makes it this difficult to start accepting them. After all that time wasted, I chose to close my account entirely.
Very disappointing experience and not something I’d recommend to others.

Don't even try to pay with PayPal!

Why would anyone use a Paypal card? Every single time I try to pay for gas, the transaction is declined. Every single time I try to buy a burger, there are a whole series of faults which take longer to resolve (if they ever do) than ordering it and consuming it do. Nothing ever gets fixed.

PayPal has slumped!

PayPal used to be great, but not anymore, they don't seem to care about protecting the customer anymore, I was scammed by a well known subscription scam, online, yet they allowed the scammers to take money without consent, I tried to message them but only get a bot, no real customer service, better off paying through my UK bank, or G-Pay, shame they're not what they used to be 🤷🏼‍♂️

Paypal service getting worse.

Paypal service getting worse.
Raised a issue with a purchase from a company.They said I have not purchased anything.Contact paypal about the charge.Directed by computer to resolution centre.Resolution centre says cannot raise a query on transaction.Paypal telephone number on hold for a long time.
To top it all they sent a statement that I have a late payment charge.
The payment is due on the 12th April(three weeks away).The bank website confirms it.

PayPal Cost Me $1500

So, these guys try to block all transfers I make, claiming "fraud protection." Even made an unauthorized $300 withdrawal from my bank!
Called customer service 4 TIMES, even talked to a person each time. Each time they refused to help. Had to file a report with the CFPB just to get a response. Then the letter I get back, they just tell me that it's their automated system and explain IN WRITING that they have 100% full control over my own money and offer no guarantees of my money's safety. Screw PayPal, they openly admitted to being thieves.
And now, thanks to all the BS, I'm now out $1500.

PayPal is honestly one of the worst…

PayPal is honestly one of the worst platforms I’ve ever dealt with.
They simply block accounts and then don’t even allow you to upload documents to verify the legitimacy of the payments.
They just freeze everything and hold your money for 180 days — money they honestly have no right to hold like that.
It’s unbelievable.
The support team is completely silent. No explanations. No help.
Just an AI assistant and generic responses.
If PayPal is reading this:
maybe instead of blocking accounts without explanation, you should hire better developers and actually solve customer problems.
Right now it feels like the system is built to block first and ignore later.
Honestly one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced.

customer service sucks.

This place is customer service sucks! I could barely understand who I was talking to because they’re not from America. I don’t speak English very good and the person actually seemed like they were getting frustrated with me because they were telling me to do something and what they were telling me to do wasn’t even possible so I never got my problem solved can’t transfer any money to my account using any of my bank account even though they’re already linked this is crazy. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna close this account soon.

PayPal = Customer is secondary

It all works fine until they try to remove money from your account for no reason, customer support is ridiculous they deliberately send you round in circles without ever trying to resolve your issue then when it get too tricky they say as you haven’t responded they end the conversation I am just 1 tiny amount of money but multiply that over millions that’s alot of money just like always the little man is easy to tread on……

Paypal is also a scam, there is no customer protection if scammed

Paypal are not protecting their customers from SCAMMERS. They allow businesses that are SCAMMING customers to get away with SCAMS and willingly take money from honest customers.
They are a DISGRACE. Do not use them, if SCAMMED YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY AND THERE IS NO PAYPAL PROTECTION.

PayPal does not help their customers

I bought a product from Chef Preserve in December. Paid for it with PayPal. Returned the item in January and received confirmation. I did not receive the refund and felt ChefPreserve was stalling. I filed a dispute with PayPal asking to get my refund. I sent them proof of the return and the guarantee of refund. PayPal CHANGED the reason of my dispute to “damaged product” and refused my dispute siding with ChefPreserve. What a scam.

Pay pal injustice

Very very very bad service i never see a bad service like this
I opened a paypal account about 3 months ago and I'm 17 years old so i can't create an account
I ask my mom to make the account with her name and her information and she accepts then I made the account and confirmed the information
At the first of the month I got a visa with my name and my ID and conncet it with paypal
I have a ko fi shop someone buy something with 6 dollars
After that they send me a message to confirm the information again and I send my mom id then they banned my pay pal permanently
When I call pay pal support that I violated one of their policies and they had no reason to close it and they suspected inappropriate activity
And they are not sure about it and I have customers need to buy a lot of things and they cant because of them I never see a bad service like that they did not even read that the address of my card and my mother's card is the same address to understand that I am part of a family
And i they to support that anyone with underaged can make a project and start selling and they do not have the right to do and she said yes when you reach the age of 18 do that
