The booking system never works

Not good

Since my student housing switched to payperwash nothing has worked as it should. The soap runs out frequently, laundry does not get clean (yes I know the soap is without perfume, there should still be a difference in smell between dirty and clean, we had the same soap before ppw and clothes did indeed smell clean after washing), and recently I did a wool wash where the normal soap was dosed. Dryers do not work at all. We are several residents who have been in contact with them, they always say that stuff will be fixed, but in my experience they dont actually do what they say. Either that or the system is so bad stuff goes wrong again right after it has been fixed.

Their website is absolutely terrible

Their website is absolutely terrible, it is like it is made 20 years ago, it is difficult to navigate and there is no English! The service itself is also really bad. My clothes do not feel clean and they smell weird. For the price that we pay it is really not worth it.

We would like to inform you that our website is in English, you can "activate" English in the right corner of the site, otherwise you can use the website www.payperwash.com and it will be in English immediately.

Regarding the smell of your clothes after washing, we can inform you that the soap we use is an allergy-friendly soap, it is also perfume-free at the same time, so that will probably be why you did not think it had the desired smell if you had an expectation that it should have some kind of perfume scent.

Another time, please take contact to our support mail or telephone if you need help, because i can not see that you have been in contact to us before this review.

Their website and their system is…

Their website and their system is absolutely terrible. So poorly designed and confusing. If you forget your password you cannot reset it but it just sends them a request and you need to wait 48 hours for them to respond. What is this, 2001?

Response to your reply:

I don't expect you to be open at weekends, however my dissatisfaction is the system itself, the fact that there's no option to reset your own password or replace the chip number without having to wait for humans to take action, which according to your own website can take up to 48 hours.

About the chip number. This is literally an example of why a human solution is terrible. The chip old number (that chip was never used) had a typo, and it's just so annoying that I wasn't able to wash that weekend because I need to wait for you to reply.

I'm changing my review from 1 to 2 stars, simply because it's not the customer service but the system that's terrible. Everything from the websites user-friendlyness itself to the way it works with everything being manually handled by human supporters.

We can see that you have registered to the laundry again this weekend. I send a mail on Monday morning, yesterday, that you have an account created in 2018 + i send you the login.
When you get the message that we have a response time of up to 48 hours is because the support is not open at weekends.

Last night I can see you send us a mail again about a new laundry key, we reply to you after a few hours that it is the key you already created, and we send that message at 22:30, and it is if support is closed.

I can see you still haven't deposited money into your laundry account, so maybe that's why you can't wash?

Should you need further help, please contact us by phone or email weekdays during support opening hours, and we will be able to help you the same day.

They dont care

1. Use their washing machine
2. Cant open washing machine because of techical fault.
3. Clothes worth 4000 NOK are stuck.
4. No one to contact since its friday evening
5. - 4000 NOK are they are not refunding anything other than 22 NOK you paid for washing.

The clothes have now been thrown in the trash with no information. I made an account just to write this review.

They are not answering your questions, and are directly lying about the situation.

Vi er lidt kede af vi bliver anmeldt for noget der mest af alt forgår mellem dig og dit boligselskabs regler for brug af faciliteterne hvor du bor, men vi vil selvfølgelig også her, lige som vi har gjort de sidste dage på mail, svare dig på de punkter du skitser op, da vi kan godt se du ikke er tilfreds med de svar du får og det beklager vi selvfølgeligt.

1. Vi kan se din første mail, og kontakt omkring denne sag, bliver sendt til dit boligselskab pr. mail Lørdag d. 28 oktober kl. 20.08, dermed ikke til os PayPerWash, så at du ikke får svar fra dem i weekender, kan vi desværre ikke gøre noget ved.


2. Vi modtager så første mail fra dig 2 dage efter, mandag 30. oktober 2023 18:20 - (udenfor vores åbningstid, som er mellem 08:00 og 17:00) og vi svarer dig tirsdag 31. oktober 2023 09:00
Herefter skriver vi en del mails frem og tilbage med dig, hvor dit boligselskab er med inde over.


3. Fredag 3. november 2023 11:36, får du en mail fra dit boligselskab med information om, at det er din indboforsikring der skal dække tabet af dit tøj.


4. Vi har flere gange beklaget, at vores maskine har lavet en teknisk fejl, hvor den ikke kan komme af med vandet i vaskeriets afløb (det var den fejl du sendte til os på et billede) Vi har derefter skrevet at tøjet ikke går i stykker af at ligge 2 døgn i maskinen, men det nok ville skulle vaskes igen da det kan komme til at lugte lidt surt. Vi har tilbudt at betale dig så du kan vaske det igen, ligeledes har vi tilbudt dig at betale for den vask der gik i stå.


5. At dit tøj er blevet smidt ud af dit boligselskab, ikke os, er beklageligt, og vi kan godt forstå du er meget frustreret over dette!
Men PayPerWash har intet med det at gøre, da det ikke er os, men dit boligselskab der har stået for dette og det har vi også prøvet at forklare dig.
På dit boligselskabs hjemme side står følgende: Brug af vaskeri sker på eget ansvar. Hent dit tøj så hurtigt som muligt for ikke at holde tilgængelige maskiner optaget længere end nødvendigt. Forladt vasketøj vil blive smidt væk. Det har de også selv skrevet til dig i nogle af de mails der har været sendt de sidste mange dage, og dermed bekræfter de at det er de regler de har for vaskerummet, det er nemlig deres, vi står kun for maskinerne, og laver ikke regler for jer studerende.

Vi har forsøgt at gøre alt, hvad der er os muligt for at forsøge at hjælpe dig så godt vi kan og vi er meget kede af din uheldige situation.
Igen her kan vi henstille til at du tager fat i dit boligselskab med henblik på at finde ud af hvor og hvornår dit tøj er smidt ud, da vi ikke ved noget omkring dette.

Absolutely AWESOME customer support…

Absolutely AWESOME customer support Jasper, thanks for saving my holiday back home to England tomorrow!! Now my clothes can be washed so I can also leave with a full suitcase.... Sorry I hadn't noticed my laundry account was empty before I had to wash, but thanks to your help late at night, everything ended well, big praise to Pay Per Wash support, Best Regards Ethan who is now washes my ass off :-)

No just no

Your payment system is so slow that making a transaction with blockchain is faster. When money is finally in your account, you may have to wait hours until you can see the money on the terminal. Get more server capacity! Getting a technician to fix a machine takes up to a week.

Hello Emil,
As for the payment, the money you pay first goes into your wash account as soon as your bank sends the payment to us, and there you can sometimes experience that your payment is pending on your bank account, and therefore it may take time before you can see them - so we apologize if that's what you're experiencing, but unfortunately we can not change how the banks transfer when you pay.
As for getting a machine made, so it is difficult for me to go into more detail on this as I do not get any specific task you refer to here - but if we get a service reported one day up to any holidays or weekends, then it goes automatically the days extra when service is run on weekdays and not weekends + holidays.

Hotline / support number for weekends doesen't exist when you try to call it.. App can't be used by android owners and the website isn't working probaly.

This is my second review of this buisness, and the second isn't gonna be any better then the first one..

yesterday (Friday 04-03-22) i registered for a washing machine and later realised i would'nt be able to make it home in time. when i tryed to cancel the reservation via the website, where i made the reservation in the first place. this was not possible. and funny enough i would'nt be able to use the interface panel to cancel since i could'nt make it home in time for the actual washing time. now i believe this resulted in a penalty fee because i didn't use the reserved time slot and wasn't able to cancel it using the website. i'am not completly sure of this since i can't find any info on there website abourt penaltys and i can't see futher back then 3 transactions using the website because the button to look futher back simply isn't working (i'am using a desktop).

now when my department complex first started to use payperwash's services several years ago i tryed to obtain the app for easier use, but was'nt able to, and when i called the customer service back then. the replie was that i would'nt be able to at the momment since their app only supported iphones.
today i thought since i could'nt cancel through the website, that now several years later, surely they must have fixed it so that other users then iphone owners would be able to use their app. but no!..
then i tryed calling the hotline / support number and got a message telling me to call another number because it's another number for weekend support? strange, but fair enough.. now i tryed calling this number but got the message that this number wasn't in use at this point......

this company is just so unproffesional with so many flaws that it is ridiculous..
i realise that it's only a company taking care of washing machines. but the price rose by over 3 times the amount we payed with my department complex last washing setup... and with the last setup there where NEVER any trouble..

For vi kan hjælpe dig bedst muligt, så ville det hjælpe os hvis du havde skrevet hvilket vaskeri det er du er bruger af, for så havde jeg kunne se og svare på de ting som du gætter på, og vurdere os ud fra.

At du ikke kan afbestille din vask, skal jeg ikke kunne sige hvorfor, igen fordi jeg ikke har mulighed for at logge ind og se på din profil, for det er muligt at afbestille. At du ikke kan se længere tilbage på dit forbrug, det er fordi du kan se den måned vi er i, og har du ikke vasket mere end et par maskiner, så har du ikke mulighed for at "rulle" frem og tilbage da der ikke er noget forbrug at se.

Hvad angår du prøvede at ringe på weekendens vagttelefon og den skulle meddele telefon nummeret ikke er i brug, det virker underligt da undertegnet her er på vagttelefonen hele weekenden, og der var hul igennem for alle andre, så kunne det måske være der var ringet forkert nummer?

Hvad angår brugen af Appen, så kan den sagtens bruges på stort set alle telefoner.

Vi er lidt kede af din anmeldelse, specielt da den er skrevet omkring emner gættes er på er som du skriver. Hvis du skal bruge en udskrift af dit forbrug, så mail os med dine oplysninger, vaskeri navn, vaskebrik nummer, så kan det sendes til dig, vi kan også sende dig en opsætnings guide på Appen, vi kan fortælle om der er en fejl ved du ikke kan afbestille, vi kan også bekræfte om du har ringet til det rigtige telefon nummer - det her ville kunne være klaret hvis du havde mailet til Supporten først, da Trustpilot kan vi bedre kan forstå hvis du havde taget fat på os omkring de her ting, og så været utilfreds med vores svar, men når vi søger i vores mail system på dit navn, finder vi intet.

Truly bad service, housing companies wake up!

This is one of the most worthless service I have had the privilege to use. 1. To do a laundry you have to register for an account and they then manually validate (3 days no less) you. I am asking for a laundry code not a nuclear code, be reasonable! 2. Once you get validated the real struggle begins, you have to book an appointment through their POS website, which is almost always down. How does a guy get his laundry done in Copenhagen!

The new user operation can take up to 48 hours, but 95% of all new users, have there login within the same working day, your login was delivered within the 48 hours.
You actually don’t have to make a booking on the website to do your laundry, if you don’t like the webpage, you can just go to the laundry and use the free machines, or make a booking in the system on the wall.
