This shop persists in putting up…
This shop persists in putting up misleading information o their site. They advertise an item as in stock for collection in store. You get there and they give you some feeble excuse saying well maybe in bigger shops but we don't have it. So why say you do and waste my time going all the way there? They will, of course try to flog you something else. This is very deceptive sales practice and, quite frankly, dishonest. They will tell you they can deliver. However, given you wasted my time you are not getting my business. Buy from Amazon.

A good array of products
PC world generally speaking has quite a lovely array of items for sale to suit your needs, and the staff are generally friendly.
But usually they’ll try and sell you stuff that isn’t needed or is worthless, like their aftercare plan, and the packages aren’t even that great; it’s usually best to just find your own cover.
Stores are a bit awkward to reach as well, you may as well just buy online.

I bought the LENOVO Series 3 15.6"…
I bought the LENOVO Series 3 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Intel® Core™ i5, GTX 1650, 256 GB SSD 3 months ago. The specs on the website say it has a touchscreen, it does not. It says it has a disc drive, it does not. The one I had also said was compatible with windows hello, it wasn't. It would have needed an ir camera for windows hello. When I pointed this out on the phone they didn't care. I've just checked today 22/05/2021 and it still says it has a touchscreen and disk drive and before you say that you copy the specs from the manufacturer's website, I've already checked, and it doesn't have any of the specs that it says on your site.

'Valued Coverplan cutomer' service stinks
As a 'valued Coverplan cutomer' and having received a letter inviting me to book my laptop in for a free health check, I have found it impossible to do so. The Farnborough Gate and Reading Gate stores just simply do answer the phone. I called the number on the letter a week ago and an email was sent asking the store (Farnborough) to contact me - well they haven't. I called Team Knowhow on the number provided today and was informed that even they don't get answers from the stores. I have been told to take my laptop to the store and it will be dealt with on 'a first come, first served basis'.
The 'values Coverplan customer' service is anything but! It stinks.

Waffle maker
item received today arrived opened/scratched before :O something I could never expect! when phoned customer services, I have been told to wait for replacement 7-14days! Ridiculous! Item was bought as a present and needed asap. would never bought from Currys (had hope of trust), but Amazon instead.
Asked an agent to review their replacement policy, so every customer is happy. He answered, they DONT NEED to make customers happy. shocking approach! agent must be fired asap. very very disappointed

I bought a computer just over twelve…
I bought a computer just over twelve months ago took it back, still under it's guarantee just before Xmas, he questioned whether I bought it from them, I had all the receipts to show for it, paid 300 pounds. They're supposed to have repaired it, it's slow and it seems to take ages to respond. Took it back whilst in the middle of this pandemic, told me to bring it back when it's all over, all I can say in the matter I'm glad I'm not doing Internet Banking.

Really good experience from Michael in…
Really good experience from Michael in Littlehampton. We went to Chichester branch first but unfortunately did not get the good customer service we were hoping for. It appeared that the assistant was not interested to help us at all and she was in a rush to tell us that they don't have the laptop we picked in stock and that cheapest one they have is £400 (we were looking at a £220 one), when asked to see the one she has mentioned she pointed at a laptop and explained that is like the one she is pointing at but cheaper. Overall I felt that she was not interested in helping us. We went to Littlehampton branch shortly after and the service was a lot better. We were greated with a smile and a joke and were well looked after by Michael, who listed to what we asked for offered two different options and helped us pick one (the one we picked was £399). We will be happy to use that branch again.

Terrible company
Terrible company. I have a 1+ year old PC I bought from them which has died so I had to buy a new one from them as they have a monopoly. It arrived faulty with a shadow across the screen. It's almost impossible to find a correct person to speak to as they have no direct numbers to call for return of goods that are faulty. I spent several hours this morning trying to get through to the correct department. As I purchased on line I can only wait in all day for DPD to collect in a couple of days and was told that it will take up 14 days for a refund.
The people you eventually speak clearly have no interest in helping and I wasn't even asked what is wrong with the PC.
Never again.

Faulty Product (Home Office) and Lack of Customer Service Support
As a customer of Currys PC World products for decades, I must confess that this will most likely be the last time I buy a product from this company. On 25th January 2021, I bought a desktop computer and an Office Home Student. Two days later, I tried to install the Office Home, and it automatically showed an error saying that the merchant did not register the code. When I contacted customer service, the service I was provided was appalling. My first contact was through the live chat function, where I was informed that I should send an email as this could not be solved using the chat function. I then sent an email, where I was told that I would not have a reply for at least three days. After three days, I sent the same email requiring a response, where I received another automatic reply saying that I would not receive a response for at least five days. Meanwhile, I went back to the live chat, where I was advised to go to my nearby shop to ask for a replacement.
On 6th February, I went to the Brentford store, but I was told the person in charge was not working and that I should call back on Monday. I left a printed copy of the product code and my email address to the person in charge so that they could respond to me, and I asked them to call me back. After two days I received an email saying that because I bought this at Curry Business online, it could not be replaced at the store and I should contact customer service. I called the store again to say that this is unacceptable, where the staff member replied that he was doing me a favour by replying and that was not his job.
I re-sent my previous email back to customer service and wrote a review on Google and the Currys webpage. Only when I contacted other departments did I finally receive an answer. An email was sent to me to report the faulty product, and it was finally agreed that Currys would come and pick it up to replace/ refund me.
I waited a few more days and nothing happened, while the several previous emails sent to customer service were never answered.
Once the product returned to Currys I waited and waited, and once again I had to go on the live chat. She messaged the refund department to process my order and I specifically asked to be refunded. I was told to give the system another 48 hours. After almost three days I received an email saying that I would receive a ‘credit note’ instead, which is not what I asked for. I had to call back again and beg to be refunded, where I was given another 72 hours. I finally was refunded was 2nd March, 40 days after I bought the product. Due to this abysmal customer service, I wasted hours where I was told inconsistent and unhelpful information. If it had not been for me consistently requesting a refund, I would not have received any further assistance, and when I was contacted, I was made to feel like a burden as a customer. Therefore, I will not be buying any products from Currys PC World in the foreseeable future, and I will be advising friends and family to do the same.

6 week old JVC (un) smart TV
I bought a JVC smart TV just 6 weeks ago. Netflix keeps dropping out, back to normal TV. Factory reset, linking with either ethernet or WiFi changes nothing. TV software up to date. Phoned PC World to be told, nothing they can do as it's not faulty ... really strange, I thought it was a smart TV. Enough said, take the money, forget customer service. Lesson learnt...
Stop press 17/3/21 Ryan from PC World says they can't do anything if the TV is not faulty. If it is advertised as being able to run apps such as Netflix, but isn't able to, 6 weeks from new .... that's not faulty??? Hilarious!
