I have just completed an online research session for People for Research. The instruction and communication from People for Research was first class, I knew what to expect and how long it would take. The young lady I spoke to was very efficient and friendly, and all emails were clear and concise.

They are parasites- Labor exploitation.
They are parasites. Promises that they will not fulfill. Not only if a company choses this business, they will also be practically using people that are never rewarded for engaging in endless activity that are fruitless, because this company has no shame in using people to get paid a salary on the backs of free labor. They use lingo such as (we will try to get you selected soon) for actual participation, but that doesn’t work, because they are in fact doing underhanded work. They have no shame in obviously forwarding many unpaid participants time and time again. They are not interested in doing anything about the fact that they never receive a dime for endless hours of work. It takes time to submit, just so so the client has a better understanding. These types of businesses should be regulated by law, as it is labor abuse for the most part. No one should be able to let anyone submit information to a company, unless they are paid sooner rather than later. So talk abuse, this is what it is. Marie Arnold has the audacity to call herself a director. Shameful business owner, is more like it. Their reply now is the equivalent of a darvo, and they thought they could say “you are based in Canada” No! Based in UK, but it made no difference. Their submission excuse. However, the real reason is there is way more to it than that. They exist because they use people essentially as their free money donation to a company which exist in a grey area. Again, this needs to be legally regulated. You were requested to remove all information from your servers, as I believe you are miming data, and your role in potentially passing that on. Miming data was someone’s else’s concern. I hundred percent agree. Also be very aware when most companies get some bad reviews they will go out of their way to get some better ones. However they go about that- all I can say- watch out for the the good ones too. Most people don’t take their time to update their experiences unless they are very poorly treated.

Very good first impression, good easy to use website.
I don't get many emails with invitations but i always look on the website.
All of the people i've spoken to have been brilliant, quick to reply and call you when you are available (which is amazing) I've been dealing with Claire and she made my participation effortless.

Each opportunity has specific criteria we’re looking for, but are not able to divulge to avoid influencing the participants' applications – this does mean you may feel you’re suitable for something and still don’t get picked. Unfortunately, we can’t always be open about these criteria, as we need to ensure responses are valid and honest to make the research worthwhile.

Vgreat variety of research and timely payment. Would definitely recommend!
Both of the research opportunities my family took part in were interesting and engaging.
Staff provided relevant information, were friendly and professional. Eden has definitely made us feel at ease, answered all our questions about the studies and was friendly and approachable on the phone prior to the interviews.
Payments came in on time. I would definitely recommend using People for Research and look forward to being invited to the study again.

Concern Regarding Legitimacy of Company
An individual named Richie reached out and invited me for an interview, which lasted around an hour. Since then, I have not received any communication or updates from them.
This has made me question whether the company is legitimate, and I am now worried about how my personal information may have been used.

I had a great experience with People…
I had a great experience with People for Research. My child was invited to participate in a study, and Richie was incredibly helpful in walking us through the entire process. On the day of the study, everything went smoothly, and my child had a seamless experience with the researcher. I really appreciated how supportive Richie was. I signed up several months ago
I signed up several months ago, applied to numerous 'opportunities,' and haven't received a single invitation, so this used a lot of my time.
What's even more concerning is that every time you apply, you're required to provide your personal data again and again. It genuinely feels like they're just collecting and mining data without actually providing any opportunities. Wouldn't recommend.

A complete waste of time. I registered months ago, have signed up to many many many 'opportunities' and not had one invite.
Worryingly, each time you apply you have to give them your data - so are you just being data mined for free? Seem that way.
