They are a 5 star builder ,the service from start to finish was amazing,the sales advisors were amazing nothing was a problem every question was answered weekly updates on our build at no point was there no issues

From start to finish, Richard provided outstanding customer service. Because I work away from home a lot, I wasn't always available in person, but that was never an issue. He was always happy to help over the phone or by email, keeping me updated and answering any questions I had quickly and professionally.
Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and he made the whole process of buying my new home as smooth and stress-free as possible. His communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt supported.
I'm absolutely loving my new home, and a big thank you goes to Richard for all his help and dedication. He's a real credit to Persimmon Homes, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both him and the team to anyone looking to buy a new home.

Had a very positive experience with persimmons yatton . Communication was difficult at times but that was mainly due to change in staff . Once things settled down the communication got a lot better. Fliss has been brilliant with the help and support of the move and Jason the site manager has been really helpful and accommodating when we needed to put the carpets etc in . Nothing was too much trouble for Jason and his team . Thank you for helping us buy our beautiful new home ☺️

I have occupied my home for two years now and would like to highlight the excellent customer care I have received during this period. Any snags with the house have been dealt with promptly and effectively. Communication has been first class with all emails and telephone calls responded to without any undue delay. I would like to pass on my sincere gratitude to Courtney Duncan and Leigh who have been very professional, helpful and courteous in dealing with all reported issues. Thank you.

After deciding to downsize our home, we looked at the persimmon Elgin range. Upon looking at the show home and some discussion with Jodie and Charlotte from Snowdon Gate West Kilbride, one Sunday afternoon mid March. We put the deposit down to secure at the time a concrete slab! On the 25th June we received the keys to our new beautiful home. The seamless journey throughout the whole process, from upgrades, site visits, passage of information and finally the habitation visit before receiving the keys, was all down to Jodie, Charlotte from the sales team, site construction managers Jim and Angus. Their caring professionalism and dedication to the client, shone through from start to finish, during the process. On behalf of my wife Karen and I, we can’t speak highly enough for all their help and assistance. We would have no hesitation in recommending the whole wider persimmon experience to anyone considering the purchase of a new home.

Since our first attend to discuss of our purchase with persimmon service was very greatful. Specially the lovely ladies who supported us in the sales office were incredible. Even after our moving , still they are chasing us for our progress of settling. I highly recommond Persimmon to anybody who wants to purchase a new built house to become a dream true.

If I was not able to actually see the previous 250+ houses they have already built on this estate, I would truly believe this was the first house they have ever attempted to build.
Despite discussions and agreements made and actions promised during the course of the build, Persimmon have only excelled at delivering an exceptionally below par home.
Perhaps if the Directors of the company actually left their office and visited site more often they would actually know what standard of home is being produced instead of sending out "no-reply, no contact" emails to customers.
Showhomes which look amazing suddenly gain unsightly internal vents and access panels on prominent wall locations, when built.
In any other industry this would be called false advertising, however somehow Persimmon expect the customer, who has spent a fortune on this "dream home", to turn a blind eye to this deception.
Fixtures and fittings shown in central locations on building plans, basics like toilets, sinks, radiators and showers are found to have moved almost by themselves, with no one apparently able to accept responsibility as to why they are not located as per their own building plans.
The only positive I can mention from this experience is to the site sales staff who genuinely appear to care about their customers and do try to progress issues on their behalf.
An initial snagging list of plus 188 items should give you an idea of what to expect when you have already handed over your hard earned cash and are handed your keys in return.

We moved in to our home at the maples in Bewdley Worcestershire in November 2024 and wanted to share our horrendous experience.
When we first moved in there was leaks everywhere behind tiolets kitchen sinks basically everywhere. The workman were in the house practically every day for a month .
There was a hole in the lounge door which stuck out like a saw thumb.
The plumbing and heating company climate care which fitted the air source heat pump and radiator fitted the radiators with screws which should have been used to put pictures up with .
We came back from holiday from centre parks in the late December when a radiator in the kitchen fell on our 5 year old sun where he had to go to hospital to have xray to show if his chest had crushed .
Then in March 2025 we had a survey which showed a few surprises one wall 23mm out of plumb in the master bedroom floor unlevel in the kitchen which needed doing again .
The garden is horrendous all unlevel and turf just been thrown down .
We've had leaking radiators everywhere and for the past 6 to.8 weeks customer care persimmon south Midlands have just said well get an appointment;we'll get them to call you today .
We've also been the same about a thermostat hanging off the wall for 8 weeks leaving live wires again 8 weeks no appointment.
We have fan covers at the side of the house with huge gaps that took 9 months to get sorted and window sealant that looked like it had been done by micky mouse .
Overall the customer care team have been extremely poor at persimmon south Midlands and I feel extremely let down .

I have viewed many properties with different housing companies! The way I was spoken to, the way they listened and just their general attitude towards customers, it was a no brainier to buy from persimmons! I’m taking about the sales staff but in particularly Mia! No hard sell but the most genuine person! I may have liked houses elsewhere, but it was really down to Mia who listened and is a real asset to your team x

Had to have the lawn relaid, when we moved in 5 years ago, because it was a rush job on a Saturday morning, the result was a slight improvement.
In the winter the lawn was like a bog, drainage was done but didnt work.
Fought with Persimmons for over 2 years only repeatedly getting fobbed off, gave up in the end.
Now the lawn has sunk in places by approximately over 5 inches, holes that you can put your fist in, grass doesn't really grow and patchy.
Yes I know and appreciate we moved in 5 years ago, but every year it gets worse, was hoping to attatch photos

After a few initial communication issues, which were resolved very quickly, we’ve had a really positive experience overall. The site team and the sales staff have been incredibly supportive throughout the process, listened to our concerns, and addressed everything to a high standard. We really appreciate how responsive and helpful everyone has been, and we’re very pleased with the service we’ve received
