Having used these for years, they now come unsealed and in an unsealed box. There is no control over contamination.

They were delivered in a box with powdered bleach and household supplies and you expect my cat to drink water filtered through them. No thanks.

Closer pets / Catmate are completely unconcerned, at least seal the box. They laughingly say that individual seals have been removed for the environment forgetting that the filters contain 1,000 times more un-recyclable plastic as they have no recycling logo. I have returned my purchase will not be buying again.

This product used to be really good, it has gone to trash and not worth buying g it. The last 4 bags iv purchased have been not but horrible, more dust than pallets.
I purchased it from the same store and its been worse everytime.
They have clearly let quality go to crap and i will never buy ot again

I pu re chased the large indigo igloo and the vent popped off when tractor supply put it in my truck. I purchased another vent from Petmate and that vent kept popping off and broke again. I called the company and they want me to just keep purchasing the same vent that keeps breaking over and over. They do not back their products the igloo is thin and breaks repeatedly, not warm, not insulated,

I bought a cat flap around 18 months ago. The product became faulty, but after contacting customer services, Susan immediately took ownership of the problem. She couldn’t have been more helpful on the phone, whilst troubleshooting.

She organised a replacement to be sent out and it arrived 36 hours later, over the weekend.

Brilliant service and a brilliant product. I won’t hesitate to use this company again.

Bought catflap which was meant to open for chipped cat. Total crap, lasted 7 months and then didn't read any of the cats chips. £50 down the drain! When I went to manufacture they washed their hands of it, said nothing to do with them! Stay well clear of this product and all catmate products the products are useless and their customer service awful. Choose another cat flap for chipped cats 👍

I was mostly pleased with the web site. It was easy to find the replacement part that I needed; a small plastic clip that holds the top and bottom pieces together. However, I thought that the $5.99 price for it must include shipping but was quite surprised to find out that another $7.25 was added for shipping. I think that cost was quite excessive for a part that can't cost more than a dollar or two to make.

The return Policy is horrible they do not have return shipping labels and if you need to return the shipping cost more than the product would not recommend buying from this company

I bought a retractable leash and just over a month it broke and they will not let me have a refund or exchange. Really crappy product. Don't buy from them.

I have just purchased a Petmate fountain and the pump is not working so I emailed Petmate suggesting they just replace the pump but they advised me to return the entire unit to the supplier - washing their hands of their shoddy goods! I have had three pet fountains all the pumps failed just out of guarantee which I replaced with a different make and worked for years. I did expect this one to not ARRIVE not working! Their goods are obviously even worse now and their customer service non existent so I suggest - buy another make not Petmate!!

On my third pump unit for Cat-Mate water fountain in less than 12 months. Always use filtered water from a Brita water filter jug, so no hard water.
Too expensive to keep buying new pumps. have reverted to the old bowl of water changed every day.
What does one expect, yet more crap manufactured items from the Chinese. Name and address available if wanted.

We purchased a kennel from PetMate to ship our dog to Hawaii. The kennel arrived damaged. We ordered a new PetMate kennel from Amazon. PetMate refunded the cost of the first crate.

I've had a p7000 fish feeder for 2.5 years in that time its broke 3 times. Some would ask how and why I'm giving them 5 stars well my reason being they have never quibbled. Every time they have simply sent out a new one. I've had nothing but 1st class service even if the product could definitely do with some weather proofing.

I'm very impressed with Pet Mate. I bought a cat flap from them around 2 years ago. Unfortunately it went wrong, I contacted them and they sent out a replacement new cat flap really quickly and with no fuss. Very impressed with the customer service.

Bought the Cat Mate Pet Fountain and couldn’t be happier. After three really bad bouts of cistitis within a few months the vet suggested I get a fountain. My cat was instantly attracted to the running water and is drinking so much now. Really easy to assemble, clean and fill up. Excellent value for money when I consider the amount of money I’ve had to spend on vets appointments over the last 6 months!! Well done Pet Mate!

I bought the catmate C500 on october the 31th, now I see that I am too late to registrate for the garantee. Is there a possibility to registrate? I know I am two weeks too late, but hoping for coulance. Greetings from Holland. Thank you.

DO NOT order from this company. They are awful to deal with.

It is very rare today to find a supplier who provides such excellent after sales service. There was a slight issue with number of parts supplied but that was very quickly sorted out. Their next day delivery was always achieved and at very competitive prices. Overall I was very impressed with their operation and would certainly use them again if required.

This thing is pretty weak, for the price you’d figure it’d have a digital timer. I might see whats up with the higher up models, but this thing’s timer function is not accurate enough to truly be called hourly. Regularly my elderly cat gets her meals an hour or so late bc it isnt accurate. Plus it loudly clicks like a timer from the 80s. Not to mention the square receptacle is difficult for my cat to get the last chunks. Why isnt it a round bowl? Why isnt there an off switch!? I have to remove the battery when not in use!? I literally might throw it away.

I have just replaced my old cat flap with a new Cat Mate Microchip flap.It would have been easy but the old cutout was too large for the new unit.
I replaced the upvc door panel and created a cutout of the correct size and shape. It would have been nice if there was a paper template for the cutout but not a dealbreaker.
The new unit was dead simple to register to my cat's chip, and it is now doing a great job of confounding my neighbour's opportunistic moggy.
This is a quality product and I expect years of trouble-free use.
Amazon was nearly £10 cheaper than my local pet store and it arrived the day after ordering it. Unfortunately the new door panel took 4 days to arrive via an eBay seller but that's not Pet Mate's fault.
