Everything was easy, not complicated at all. Received certificate on time, very pleased with the service.

Terrible app, terrible website, impossible to get hold of. Looking like I’ll have to get my pet re-chipped with a chip that actually works.

Who wants their pet to have two chips floating round in them, or pay for one to be removed? Not good for the animal and potentially dangerous.

Just completed the implanter course and have been really happy with the process from start to finish. I will now transfer all my microchips for my own dogs to petscanner.com as the registration is only £2.99. A great price for all new puppy owners.

Iv been using Petscanner services for nearly a year now. Well, can't recommend them highly enough. Easy to use app, friendly and excellent customer services. Very low cost transfers of microchip details ...only £2.99.
And all DEFRA registered.

I began using this company after advice from a friend who couldn't recommend PetScanner highly enough. I've been with PetScanner for several months now and can only say how easy it is to use their services. Customer service is A1 and I can reach them by phone without problem and they always follow up on emails. The PetScanner team are very professional, friendly, polite and helpful.
I would never use another DEFRA approved microchip registration company.

The Petscanner Database did not release my details when my dog was lost - thus costing me the Warden callout fee plus kennel fees for something they should have prevented. My dog was scanned by the Warden and Petscanner refused to release the information.

UPDATE:
The team did follow up a few times with me to make sure that my dog is back safe - it seems that the warden never requested her details from them .... so PetScanner is not to blame - so from 1* to 4*

The scanner only works when the location setting is on and the phone can connect to PetScanner.com. Unfortunately that page appears to have frequent connection problems making it impossible to use the scanner. Good idea but too many flaws to really work.
We need a reliable scanner.

I reviewed this product a couple of years ago and gave an unfavorable review, because it didn’t seem to work with my iPhone and/or my microchips. Well, I’m not sure what got fixed, but it is now working perfectly with my iphone. The company was helpful with the previous problems, so I was also happy with the level of customer service. I would now say that this is a great product for the price and am happy I got it.

It works great and is probably one of the few systems that will alert you if your missing dog or cat is ever scanned and searched for on any one of the 13 Defra databases and will tell you which database holds the pet's details. Highly recommended with the right package.

Great for scanning new cats in the area that you think may be lost. With the microchip number you can call any vet and they can check the number on the online database. This will often reunite the cat with its owner.
Much easier than trapping the cat and taking it to the vet to scan.

Gadget price, but in my eyes big dissadvantage that I cant scan without internet connection and GPS.

Reads the pet chips easily.
Easy to use.

Waste of money, I do not care to subscribe to your services only needed a scanner.

really good product works well only one thing is that i would like to see a add on to the app that has a google surch button to look the number up or copy the number button to take over to google to such it that way if you find some ones dog you can do a googel surch of the number and find the owner onlne and a link to the mic chip site

Didnt find out until purchased that it only scans dogs that have the same membership with them. I bought it because we rescue lots of dogs and not any so far we rescued . The scanner now takes pride of place in the bin

Generally the scanner is OK but have a few instances now where the scanner has not picked a chip up but a different scanner has. I really wanted this scanner to be wonderful because I scan a lot of lost and found animals but, sadly, I have to find it unreliable due to not picking up microchips that a different scanner has found.

Very affordable microchip scanner which works great with my android phone over bluetooth!

I can't rate this highly enough. It no only scans but also tells you the chip company it's registered with. The device itself is small enough to carry with you everywhere. As I do a lot of rescue work I have it in my bag ready for any animal I need to check.
