Unethical Attorney, Beware!

My experience with Evan Pickus at Pickus and Landsberg was extremely disappointing. Evan prepared a heavily one-sided, unethical lease addendum that ultimately prevented a fair agreement and led to the collapse of the lease deal altogether. Due to this poorly conceived addendum, the owner never leased the property to anyone and instead ended up selling the house. As a result, I ended up stuck in a home riddled with issues and unnecessary anxiety.

As an attorney, Evan Pickus had an ethical responsibility to advise his client appropriately and ensure fairness. Instead of pushing through an unfair addendum, he should have guided his client to make ethical decisions rather than prioritizing profit at any cost. When I raised these legitimate concerns, Mr. Pickus responded with passive-aggressive insults, labeling me a "keyboard warrior" and offering condescending justifications rather than accountability. His dismissive attitude and personal attacks were unprofessional and uncalled for, reinforcing the negative experience.

I strongly advise potential clients to carefully consider the risks involved before engaging with Evan Pickus or Pickus and Landsberg. Ethical practice and accountability should always come first—something clearly lacking in my interactions with this firm.
