I get so annoyed by people who pay…
I get so annoyed by people who pay these low life’s. Please, please ignore their made up fees. There is absolutely no need to pay fees that are not in the lease. Ignore their threatening letters etc they are meaningless. I have been a leaseholder for 20+ years & have lost count of how many made up invoices I have been sent. Have never paid a penny other than what is legitimate.
Awful company
Awful company! wandering how scummy companies like this are not found out !
Resolving parking issues with neighbours …
Matt Snelling has been very proactive and helpful in assisting our block resolve parking issues and overgrown bushes affecting the enjoyment of our properties.
Is there anyway we can all do a group…
Is there anyway we can all do a group compliant as I nearly had a nervous breakdown with this company it was that serious. How can they continue like this !!
ANYONE WHO HAS HAD A E MAIL FROM CENTRICK
PLEASE PLEASE LET THEM KNOW HOW BAD PIER ARE… MAY BE ABLE TO REPORT BACK TO RM SECURITIES WHO ACTUALLY PAY PIER !! WORTH A TRY
I have applied for a lease extension
I have applied for a lease extension, we were given a figure by Pier Management this is prior to the new Government legislation who attempted to pressurise us into making an urgent decision which would benefit them. We have since received a counter offer from them which is almost double the initial amount quoted, pure greed and disrespect to new legislation, they are also refusing to send over their surveyor calculations to our surveyor so he can negotiate with them even though we are paying for the service of both surveyors. What a joke, rip-off.

NEW
Would've used no stars if had the option to. This company is a cowboy outfit looking to fine people if you don't pay your ground rent on time. I'm in the process of making a complaint regarding this matter.
Excellent Service
Matt has gone above and beyond to help me; it's been a pleasure!
Constantly goes the extra mile to provide assistance with the many portfolios we have with PIER.
Thank you again Matt for your help!
It really is awful company to deal…
It really is awful company to deal with , imposing fines
and bringing in debt collectors for the slightest misdemeanor........ avoid them if you can
Pier act as our freeholder and they…
Pier act as our freeholder and they were helpful and efficient when we needed to replace our building management company when they weren't doing their job.
Crooks with no soul
Honestly have been in tears more times than I can remember due to communication with this pure evil company. I am now at a point where I may have to sell my home as I can't deal with the stress anymore. When will we be protected against crook companies like these?
Trains and sand castles.
We visited the pier with our two grandchildren who live out of area.
They were both excited by the train ride on the pier and loved playing in the sand play area on such a lovely day.
Whoever thought of adding the sand play area really understand children as they played for over two and a half hours and engaged with other children. Thank you for helping make their trip a successful one.
Absolutely disgusting management…
Absolutely disgusting management company- I live in a leasehold flat and have multiple issues with a broken pipe that my landlord is trying tirelessly to repair, they do not respond, they send out cowboy contractors, my flat is now falling apart due to the damage being done from their shoddy contractors and poor communication- my walls are subsiding and blowing from the damp. We will now be strongly using social media as well as utilising legal services to make sure pier are accountable!

It has taken over 7 months to purchase our property. Pier management legal team are dreadful. They have consistently held up the sale. They are slow at responding to requests from the sellers solicitor and today after 3 previous completion dates being passed today again it's happened. Pier management have sat on signing off a lease extention they received back last Tuesday even though its been agreed by all sides. Without this we cant exchange and complete! I tried to ring them and no one is answering the phone on any extention.
After reading your reviews
After reading your reviews, I join in to say that you are the worst ever company to deal with. You are a heartless company. There is no lea way for anyone in your book. It’s all about how much money you can get out of your clients. How do you get away with it. I am really really surprised that you are still in business. Take my word, “You can go on for so long, as whoever we are, even you can be. Broken”. You have become so immune to your behaviour, that nothing matters as long as the money keeps rolling in. What a shame.
Great customer service ...
As a landlord, I have engaged with Pier Management several years. Always been satisfied with the service I've received - particularly in most recent interactions with Nicola Cocks (Customer Service), who went above and beyond in explaining in detail why insurance premiums were increasing significantly.
Customer service was excellent
Customer service was excellent from Matt Snelling. I had an issue I wanted to discuss about our flat and he was incredibly knowledgeable and understanding, and followed up with prompt action and advice. Very grateful.
Excessive Buildings Insurance increasing
Buildings Insurance increasing year on year to an extortionate level of £724.21 plus admin fee of £21.99 totalling £746.19 per flat in a block of 20 leasehold flats
Grand total of £14983.80
Reforms are coming for Leasehold properties and hopefully management companies, like Pier Management/Regisport Pension Fund, will no longer be profiteering, unregulated companies.
I sold my property just to get away…
I sold my property just to get away from them. They're the worst human beings on earth. They still send me an invoice for the expensive insurance for the next year, and of course with the threat to charge the late fee, 2 months after I sold my property, even though they owe me £377.
I had enough with their fees and those…
I had enough with their fees and those exorbitant amounts for insurance. Also they tried to ask me for the same premium in the past to add 20 years to my lease that they would do for 90+. They make their own rules. Please if anyone took them to tribunal to contact me, I need to know how much you paid in the end tribunal fees and all . Horrible company. We should open a petition to close down this company. Measures need to be taken. They were always polite but they are thieves, the money we pay for insurance they have dealings with the insurer, will take them to tribunal to prove it.. unbelievable
Rip off customers. Not FCA regulated so do not do business with them!
Absolutely shocked with the appalling service I have recieved from Pier Management.
Back in November 2021, due to sickness, poor health, hospitalised for Covid-19 etc I had not check my letters. My end of year ground rent was due both for myself and my husbands properties. Around that time my husband also lost his mother and flew out to his mothers funeral. Neither me or my husband were in a position to check our letters. By January, we both had outstanding ground rent to pay, with an UNBELIEVABLE amount in LATE FEES on all of our properties, our accounts were passed to 'SOLICITOR'S' and 'DEBT COLLECTOR'S' by Pier Management. The total amount we were looking to pay was beyond belief!! WE COULD NOT AFFORD IT. Me and my husband both eventually made all the outstanding ground rent payments, £100's and £100's of pounds in late fees and over £200 to debt Collectors to further avoid charges. It was a very difficult time in our lives having to pay so much. I sent evidence of my poor health from my GP and Pier Management reduced my late fee of £200 to £100 for just 1 PROPERTY! I have several properties with them!!
Anyways, today I received letters to say that my husband and my yearly rent is due on our properties. One invoice states I have a sub total of £100 to pay but the other states £200. I called to enquire why I am paying an additional £100, when ground rent is always £100 for every property? The advisor explained, the additional £100 'was an outstanding balance brought forward'
OK, so.. had I not questioned it and paid the 'GROUND RENT' as per the letters, Pier Management would have so slyly robbed me of £100!!!
Why were they not transparent on their invoice??? Hidden costs not explained?? there must be many naive customers making unnecessary payments! I needed to put a review on here to express my anger at how easily they con you!!! BE WISE, BE CAREFUL AND QUESTION EVERYTHING!
I told them to to send me all my previous payment receipts so I can cross reference with my card statements..and surprise, surprise, that £100 they wanted to rob off me? Well they now miraculously have on record 'that the outstanding £100 WAS settled'.
I am now looking to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service to see what my rights are. I suggest you all do the same if you are unhappy.
I have looked on the Financial Conduct Authority website and it clearly states that they are NOT A REGULATED BUSINESS and the website states in bold THAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
In the meantime, I am waiting for a call from the manager to understand who regulates them.
They have such poor reviews on google/Facebook, you name it! I now want to understand how they are still trading and providing such awful service!
I shall keep you all posted..
