This is the second time I have attempted to purchase a sofa from Poltronesofà. My first experience was excellent, which is why I returned.
Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. On my first visit I was assisted by Kylie, who provided great service and quotations. When I returned to finalize my purchase, I was told by another salesperson to come back another day simply because Kylie was not present. I found this response unprofessional and unacceptable.
I will stop here, as this experience alone is sufficient to convey my dissatisfaction. However, she did not stop here with her rudeness and attitude.
Unfortunately, nothing appears to change, this will be the last sofa I purchase from your company.

Things started out well. We visited the shop in Malta during the Black Friday sale period, chose a sofa, and received a quote with all specifications. We were told by the salesperson to email once we decided to proceed.
We emailed the very next day but received no response. After several email follow-ups and calls, we were informed that the salesperson was on sick leave.
Once the Black Friday promotion had ended, the salesperson contacted us stating that we were no longer entitled to the discounted offer. They claimed they had tried to reach us by phone, which was not true as we had no missed calls and the phone number provided was correct (can be clearly seen in the quote). Regardless, they already had our emails and could have replied during the offer period.
We had clearly expressed our intent to purchase within the Black Friday promotion window, so we believed we were entitled to the discounted price.
After considerable back-and-forth and multiple complaints, the salesperson eventually honoured the discounted price. While the issue was resolved in the end, the overall experience was unnecessarily stressful and poorly handled.

If i could give 0 i would.. i cannot yet speak for the product itself, because is still packed, but communication was absolutely horrible, they lied to us how the delivery will be done, complicated everything, their support is non-existent and the moment you pay, you are on your own.. don't trust them if they tell you it is possible to change the adress after you pay, don't trust them when they tell you, you can speak with the delivery company and it will be no problem with delivery and also don't trust them when they tell you the date of the delivery, because it will change like 3 times.. so good luck with making plans before its delivered...
before you sign the contract ask them for personal email, because its not possible to send them any complaint, because on their website there is no contact.. i don't like non transparency, why you are selling such great product if at the end you don't care how its delivered and if the costumer has any problems.. the sofa didn't cost 2 penny, it was very expensive buy, so i would expect proper communication and support and care until the end..
i know, the company doesn't care about this feedback and dissapointed client, but at least i can write a review here..

Purchased the chair from SCS in August, arrived eventually in December 2025.
Unfortunately, the chair will only work via the mains and not the rechargeable battery as it is supposed to.
SCS told us we had to collect the charger from their store, 25 mile round trip. They gave us an AC/DC adapter not a rechargeable battery pack. When the chair arrived it came with an AC/DC adapter. So we now have two adapters but it seems we don’t have the rechargeable battery pack! The delivery person said they would inform SCS about the issue.
We have spoken to SCS, filled in forms, sent emails but they just aren’t doing anything to rectify this issue.
Our next step is to go via the credit card company as SCS just don’t seem to care.
I do not recommend SCS or the Poltrosofas.
Bought what was supposed to be 100% Italian leather corner sofa & chair, absolutely shocking, the day of delivery I was back at the store asking for it to be removed as its not what I ordered, wrong colour, wrong leather, totally cheap bonded leather, stinks to high heaven, been fobbed off since 3oth April, still going on now (december), absolutely shocking firm, needs shutting down as it sells nothing but cheap, furniture, basically robbed me of £4000,
Sales associate was very helpful.
Prices are little too high with no room for a discount
This Company is appalling, my furniture was delivered in July 2025 within an hour it looked as if it had been in my home for 2 years, the excessive creasing was beyond a joke. First visit from technician stated manufacturing fault, opened up the furniture and proceeded to add a dacron wrap, within in an hour problem returned. Second visit from technician from same Company stated no manufacturing fault. Ombudsman agreed basing his decision on reports from technicians. On receiving copies of the reports they had so much inaccurate information that I requested a second opinion. Scs admitted there were inaccuracies but would not arrange another inspection as the outcome would be the same. A lot of these people involved in this process are working together. I do believe in Karma and live in hope that each and everyone of them get their come uppance. Its disgusting that this Company can scam people out of their money this way. Shame on you all.
Excellent product selection and service. The showroom is well set up, and the variety of product is great. The staff were very helpful, and Angelina G helped us choose the best options for the large modular sofa that would work for our space. She had great insights into appropriate fabrics and helped us narrow down our choices.

Beautiful showroom with a very good range of selection to try out for yourself.
Delivery will be in February '26. I will update the review then if I remember, but so far very satisfied.

The assistance was very helpful. Dora was willing to attend all my requirements and she offered useful advices. I am happy with my first visit to Poltronesofa and hopefully the quality of the sofa will be in line with the quality of the purchase services received, already.
I will come back with my comments regarding the receiving, delivering and quality of the sofa, as soon as I will receive it.

I was given bad information on price in Lucca, I visited Pisa and was given the correct price and amazing service. However, terrible service from a courier who blocked the street for one hour with his trcck then demanded cash and would not leave unless paid. I am happy with the sofa but the courier really made this a terrible experience. If I buy again, I would find need a guarentee of a different delivery service. The 5 Stars are for the Pisa store and sofa not for anything else.

I purchased a sofa and chairs from SCS in Mansfield and it's the biggest load of rubbish ever. Appalling customer service. Once they have your money, you are on your own. Not at all seriously interested in resolving the huge amount problems caused by not fit for purpose furniture, not only me but thousands of disgruntled customers. My problem started a few days after delivery on 1st of October 2025. Where I sit, there is very large dark mark on the cushion, lots of creases and sagging foam in the cushion. SCS sent someone out to look at, very none committal in his comments. Took a few photos of the problem and I imagine sent them to his boss , then phoned his boss to discuss the problem and his boss concluded that it was normal wear and tear on a sofa only 7 weeks old, looks more like 10 plus years old. My last sofa was 20 plus yrs old was in much better condition than the new one. I'm initiating a charge back on my credit card. SCS have 14 days to resolve the issue before the bank gets involved. I'm hoping for a total refund of my monies. Nice furniture to look at and that's all I can say about it, definitely not fit for purpose.
