Lost parcel, refusal to compensate and provide assistance
I shipped a parcel early December from Netherlands to non-EU country. One month later, the parcel still wasn't there. I enquired to PostNL staff and they allegedly opened an investigation. However, 3 days later they called me to tell that it is missing, how deeply sorry they are, and offered to compensate the equivalent of shipping service (which is negligible comparing to the content of the parcel). When I asked what was done to find it, I was told by an employee that I won't understand the processes even if explained.
I took matter into my own hands. Needless to say, it took about half an hour to locate the parcel and request that it is delivered. The post service at the destination country informed me that PostNL made a mistake, which they couldn't admit. Furthermore, I haven't received any compensation for the package that PostNL lost.
To sum up, the parcel was lost due to PostNL mistake, the employee provided bare minimum help and showed no desire assist any further. Scammed me for 40 EUR for a 1 month long shipment that couldn't even be delivered...

I contacted PostNL customer service (with this tracking number CK086329330NL) regarding my AliExpress orders:

The packages were lost by Colis Privé, and I was simply seeking assistance to see if PostNL could help. The agent I spoke with was impatient, unprofessional, and told me the tracking number did not exist, even though I had two official proofs: tracking on the PostNL website and the Cainiao tracking for my AliExpress order.
No concrete assistance was provided. The responses were automatic and incoherent. I find this customer service extremely poor and incompetent.
I am posting these facts to inform other customers and to document my case, as I am pursuing action with AliExpress and the DGCCRF to get a refund for my lost packages.

Awful service, delayed package, food content went bad
We ordered fresh dog food from Butternut. PostNL missed delivering it during the scheduled day. Following day, same story and then again the day after. After several days of delay, the package arrived but all food had gone bad already (not surprised) so we had to throw it away. PostNL driver was incredibly rude when we told him we cannot accept such a package- said “what are you gonna do? I’ll just leave it here in front of the door and that’s that!”.
Package stuck
Package stuck at „The shipment is handed over in bulk final acceptance of the item to be confirmed” for two weeks now. I unfortunately don’t think I’m going to receive my package. One could expect the national post service of a developed country such as the Netherlands to be of top quality, however it is the exact opposite.

PostNL is a scam. They change delivery times at will, pretend to attempt delivery, and then send your package straight to a pickup point without ever showing up. Terrible service — the worst of the worst.
PostNL is absolutely useless
PostNL is absolutely useless. They constantly change delivery dates, never actually deliver, and then suddenly your package is “stuck in a sorting centre.” Their explanations are laughable, and their communication feels like talking to a robot – completely useless and frustrating. Their tracking is worthless, and their delivery estimates mean nothing. Between December and January, they have already lost two of my packages.
From today, I will never order from any shop that uses PostNL – who knows when (or if) your package will actually arrive. Completely incompetent, unprofessional, and utterly unreliable. Avoid at all costs.
Urgent Safety and Privacy Concern: Missing Child’s Photos
I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I placed an order to have my daughter’s photos printed, which were supposed to be delivered by PostNL. However, the photos went missing during delivery, and I was never informed. When I contacted the printing company yesterday, they claimed the photos had been delivered on December 8th. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about safety and privacy, as it is inappropriate for a child’s photos to be lost or potentially fall into the hands of strangers.
