I used Prezi for just one presentation during the 14-day trial period — and yet, right after it ended, a $216 annual fee was charged to my account without my consent. Just two days later, I reached out via email explaining that I had missed the deadline and kindly requested a refund — a completely reasonable and human reaction.

The response? A flat-out refusal. No understanding, no flexibility, and absolutely no possibility of a refund. I was told that no amount of messaging or reasoning would change their decision.

This is not only arrogant and dismissive — it's a blatant act of exploitation. I may not have the financial means to sue you, but I will make sure to raise awareness and file complaints on every possible platform. This is not just bad customer service — it's predatory behavior disguised as policy.

Prezi charged me €200+ a few hours BEFORE the 7 day trial period ended. The reminder message I was supposed to get got stuck in the spam folder, which i find highly curious as that was the ONLY message from Prezi ever to be auto sorted in that folder. I sent their support an Email explaining my Situation, but have received no answer. When I tried again to claim a refund for a premature charge, the issue of the date was not adressed but i was told I would receive no refund and that I could not challenge this result, without any explanation again. I feel ripped off, stuck paying a huge sum for a service I just wanted to peak into, and wont use for a full year. This whole experience is incredibly frustrating.

Edit: The “reaching out” prezi refers to in their answer, is them completely refusing a refund without replying to my concerns about them violating the German deadline norms and explicitly stating that nothing can or will change this decision. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Protections Board and will sue should this fail, I will update this review on the outcome of this, once I know the results.

I had to get Prezi for school project - I wanted to cancel before the free trial ends, however I didn’t get any reminder email or anything and it just charged me $130 out of nowhere. I feel ripped off. I also didn’t know im gonna be charged for the entire year, thought its gonna be monthly. I have filed a refund and Hopefully it will come through.

I am very disappointed with the abusive renewal of Prezi membership with an additional upgrade that I did not ask for. I just found out, when I noticed an unusual high debit from my credit card and that was when I realized not even one email was sent to ask my interest on renewal. 180 USD were charged from nowhere.

My subscription was automatically renewed after a year. I must have given permission for this when I signed up in my haste (because features had to be unlocked by paying). Now, after a year, the price is going up by 250%! I feel ripped off!

My experience with this website has been downright horrible. While working on my presentations, it would frequently glitch, causing significant inconvenience. And then, when I tried to download my project, I would suddenly have to pay to do so. What's the whole point of it? I already paid for my standard membership, and without any prior knowledge, I have to pay again to access my work. It's ridiculous. Stay far away from this crappy website.

this is an amazing way to learn about how AI has improved. it also helps me with presentations and ideas. I copy alot of ideas from Prezi and that really helps me finish presentations, improve presentations and enjoy making slideshows. thank you Prezi!

Canceled before the end of the free trial and had the happy surprise of still getting a charge and for the the customer service to be as dismissive. I might have considered getting the service again at a further time but I don't want to encourage these bad business practices.

I recently signed up for a free trial and was under the impression that I would be notified before any charges were made. However, I was charged $48 without receiving any notification or reminder, which was not what I expected or agreed to.As a student, this charge is a significant and unexpected expense for me, especially considering I was only exploring the platform for some basic presentations. I would really appreciate it if you could issue a refund, as I believe this charge was made without proper communication.

Prezi returned with fantastic AI features. A great presentation software, I love it.

Hello, so I'm a student, and I've been using this web for about 1 month. It's incredible, it generates presentations, is also has a really cool effect when skipping slides... So it really helped me out a lot with it, just so you know, I recommend it more than a car.

The Prezi software is great - I was using it first time for my course presentation.
The issue I had was with the payment.
I had a cancelled the free subscription after a week, but was offered another week free and I have accepted and two days later I have been charged for a whole year!
Managed to obtain a cancellation with an apology and the refund followed couple days later.
Overall very happy with the experience but beware of the additional "free" time.

I love Prezi! All my presentations are always great! I just used the AI for making one of them and I just needed to make some adjustments before I used it.

I tried to cancel before the 7-day deadline but it didn't work. I was forced to pay $400 Australian and tried to talk to Prezi again, but the website's chat button doesn't work and there's no email to talk to. Now they sent it to me for evaluation and it was the only means of communication.

HI, Stephanie - I have know prezi for the last 10 years, I love graphics, and photographic. I have used Power Point, Corel, Adobe for presentations when I need it. I have been learning how I can manipulate prezi for presentations cause is for my personal use. I just retire and want to spend time to know prezi better The only time I will used is for teaching at Church. I want to said Thank you. Appreciated for having free access to used. Since I've been working with prezi, my presentations have become more dynamic and versatile. Unfortunately, the internet links are missing in the PDF export

We starting using Prezi several years ago starting with some impressive presentations and then integrating into our onboard training programs. The simple UI has not changed very much over the years and that can be a double-edged sword. On one side, the simple features make the creation process easy and on the other side, the simple features are limited and dated.
We are currently exploring other platforms.
