SCAM!!
After an emergency electrical situation an electrician was required through Francis Electrical Services in New Romney. The agreed price on the phone was £336 plus parts if required. The electrician, Lee Hession, arrived to my property and simply tested the sockets and plugged in an extension lead (which belonged to me anyway) to my fridge freezer and claimed to have solved the electrical issues. He then demanded a payment of a staggering £1,344. We refused and a lady on the phone told Mr. Hession that he was not allowed to leave the property until payment was made. He was intimidating in his mannerisms and on top off this, only accepted payment via a private bank transfer. He and the companies of Professionals Immediately, Professionals 24, and Francis Electrical Services have all been reported. They are all SCAMMERS.

If I could give 0* I would. Awful company. Avoid them at all costs

If I could give less I would.
Charges 250 per hour after saying it was 250 for the call out. The guy fixed the problem but then I queried the price they hounded me for the money called at 10.30 at night.
This was in February I have still not been able to get a receipt from the plumber and the boiler is now not working again. I paid £851 for 2.5 hours work.

Thank you for your reply however I have not been able to get a receipt from the plumber who did the job. I can only conclude that he inflated the price of the part he used.
I have spoken to other companies to get quotes and everyone has said that this amount is extortionate. The most I have been quoted for an emergency call out to do what the plumber did was half of this price.

These are scammers. Please avoid this company at all cost. I wished I read these reviews before contacting them.
Had electrical issues in my house. Contacted these scammers and they sent an electrician who came, collected £180 as call out, was unable to fix the fault. Promised to come back and never returned back.
Reported this to the company and requested for someone else to come fix the fault but was told that their manager will give me a call back. It's been 4 days now, they have not bothered to call back. I have tried calling them severally and they keep telling me that their manager will call me back.
I believe that one day, they will meet their Waterloo.

Very poor service. Exorbitant price . The technician was not helpful and was whiling away time.
I was charged an exorbitant amount for the work not completed .
The first thing the plumber said to me was “ you could call me outside of the company for private plumbing work “ which seemed unprofessional .
In short , I am left with a non working toilet and have been charged for 2 hours .
Very Expensive for an issue that was not solved

Having read this reviews I decided against the service.

Instead of a woman a guy picked up the phone and when I wanted to cancel, he refused and tried to cut the price, adamant to know why I cancelled. I said we found another service, which we did as I made several calls. Also the timing did not fit for my partner. He then told me that I am not telling a true story and cancellations cannot happen. If I get someone come at my door, I will call the police. He tried to make it seem like time wasting with getting a plumber, when it was literally an hour after I originally booked. It was bizzare, rude and I can't lie a little worrying.

Overpriced scam

I would give it zero stars if possible. I contacted a company called Jack 24H Emergency Electrician for an electrician and was quoted initially £180.
After a quick Google search, I realized that they are associated with professionals immediately
When questioned them about this, I was threatened and told that I still had to pay even if I hadn't used their service.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Electrician turned up in 20mins and resolved the problem within the hour. £180 may seem a lot but no local people could turn up for over 4 hours so it was great peace of mind.

This company is overpriced they sent a plumber who didn't fix my toilet leak the 1st time and charged £400 he didn't have the valve needed went to get it? Ran 10 minutes over the first hour of £185 had to pay another £185 for second hour..had no card machine to pay so was coerst into going to get cash from ATM.. I live alone and panicked... job was not completed. 2 days later the leak was a lot worse, had to re call plumber..disgusting unprofessional. Scammers ..Do not use this company!!

Constant calls 48 times at a time! Rude and ignorant.

Do not use this company over priced, don’t issue invoice or guarantee for the work. The plumber turned up 30 minutes later he didn’t have the parts I had my own so he used them.

Complete scam, they won’t let you cancel and will charge you regardless. No terms and conditions read on phone and now harassing with phone calls and aggressive rude behaviour on the phone. Don’t fall into the panic trap, I don’t know how they have a google guarantee or come up first on search. Also, tradies don’t sign up with them even if you’re quiet for work. Will do more damage to your reputation than any amount of work is worth.

I am an Electrician that has done work for them and I will give an honest review. A lot of engineers I know have used or heard of these. They do seem a bit shady in how they operate and I know they have worked under at least 3 names pretending to be different companies even though they are all registered in Ireland with the same company number and are based in Albania but pretend they are in Lithuania. Their prices are a rip off and what they do is tell customers a price but don’t tell them that’s the price per hour and leave it all to the engineer to deal with when they get there. They push you to drag a job out for at least 2 hours and if you don’t your median score goes down and they give jobs to other engineers as a punishment. They have a lot of good engineers that work for them it’s the agency that is useless not the engineers. They have engineers come and go because they leave once they see how dishonest they are. They are very greedy, even if you get there and can’t do the job they will tell you to take payment for the hour. That being said a lot of the time customers don’t help themselves either a lot of the time customers have an emergency and are desperate so don’t pay attention to the prices but when people are booking jobs for general work that’s not emergency and have all the time in the world to get quotes but decide to accept their prices that’s on the customer.

This company refused to cancel the services of a plumber. This was cancelled by Whatsapp confirmation and by Phone Call. I ended up having to pay call out charges for 2 plumbers because of this company. Avoid like the plague.

Wildly overcharged and then they have not sent me an invoice to expense for over 13 months despite constant requests.

Charged me 144 for call out just to silicone my bathroom charged me 175 pounds altogether for the silicones . Shocking ! Bad job of silicones have to do it all again !

Be aware with this scam company.
We called them to fix a leak in our sink, they charged us £144 and they didn't fix anything, the sink still leaking.
We contacted the company but they seems only care about the money because they don't even reply anymore.
