SCAM ARTIST- We called the emergency plumber at 5pm and were told they would be here within 30mins - 1hour. We phoned again after 1hour and we're told the plumber had "broken down" and he would be another 2hours. When the plumber arrived at 8pm he had not broken down, the agency had told him to wait 2hrs to come to us. They clearly just wanted a secondary £144 call out charge as they knew the shops for parts shut at 8pm. When we tried to cancel and rebook the plumber to come for the following morning the operator told us the plumber had already gone to buy the part after she sent him a photo of the leak. This was also a lie and our photo was not sent to the plumber, the plumber was even told the wrong issue and was expecting a toilet leak not a mains leak! The plumber that came was very helpful and understanding and was able to sort our leak. We will never use the emergency services 24 agency again. They lied about the plumber breaking down, they lied that they sent him photos and he had already bought a part. This is a very dishonest business and we will not be recommending them in the future.

Terrible company, promised they would turn up, kept rearranging, no one even called then the next morning tried to book us in on double time. Absolute con artists

I wish I had read these reviews before engaging with these cowboys who have not answered a single call yet expect me to pay an electrician who should have been cancelled.

I am taking this matter further as I believe this is an elaborate yet effect scam

Absolutely incompent company that charged me for 2hrs instead of just over an hour of work. This was timed accurately by myself. They are not willing to reimburse you and the original fault is still not fixed on one toilet. The plumber was on the phone to his mate most of the time but my main winge is the lack of professionalism by the whole service. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AS I COMPLAINED AND 1 MONTH LATER THEY STILL HAVENT GOT BACK TO ME REGARDING THE ISSUE I RAISED.

We recently got quoted £144 call out for a leaking toilet, originally I thought it was clean but turned out to be the waste pipe. I was then made to sign upfront when the plumber arrived saying I was happy to pay £180/hour. At this point I rang the area manager to be advised the job has changed and this is what it is, they spoke over me and were rude and said once again these jobs often complete within 1 hour.

The toilet took 4 hours with 45mins of this 'finding a difficult part' at local stores. With parts I was instructed to pay £180/hour + vat which was not mentioned, as I'm residential this should have been included in the quote.

Having consulted a local tradesmen I expect the job should have only been £350 so very upset at this daylight robbery, and thec lack of clarity in the quoting system as well as lack of customer service.

With insult to injury the what'sapp from head office after the tradesmen left asking how much I paid. To which I responded with a clear complaint.

Please do avoid, we only went with this as a couple of local tradesmen couldn't see to the issue today which left us without a toilet.

STAY WELL CLEAR
Then the technician can claim expensive fuel charges such as £50 for visiting 4 suppliers that are only 6 miles away at the most. Technicians are great but can be claiming £144 per hour to drive around searching for parts. Whatever happened to making a phone call to check for parts!

Somehow or other my previous review has been deleted. It was probably my fault when trying to edit it.
This is just to repeat what I said in my review.
Our boiler broke down. The plumber who installed the boiler 15 months ago wasn’t immediately available We called this service.
The technician they sent said the problem was a faulty part. He said he couldn’t replace the part because the boiler was still under guarantee. The call out charge was £264. The service was incomplete but there was no offer of a reduction.
We then contacted our regular plumber who installed the boiler and the boiler manufacturer. They established that the problem was for reasons to do with severe weather, not a faulty part; the boiler was quickly fixed and has been working well ever since; they didn’t charge.
The whole experience was disappointing. It was particularly disappointing because we have a severely disabled son and need heating and hot water even more than most families.
We would not use this service again. If we needed help, we would call the needed professionals directly. We’ve learned from our experience. It was an expensive lesson.

Terrible service.

Said that they were arranging a plumber to come by, and didn’t show in time. Understand that is underlying contractor - but why this rating is that they contacted us on WhatsApp, but when we commented on late arrival - the WhatsApp channel just went quiet for over 2 hours

CUTOMERS AND TRADES BEWARE!!
Recieved multiple calls today (3 within 10 minutes) requesting that I do "plumber" work for them ("Hello is this plumber?").

Apparently I'm then charge the poor customer a staggering £114 PER HOUR and then pay them half. When I has finished laughing I hung up.

Please just get a local tradesman as this is ridiculous and nothing more than daylight robbery of all involved.

Really awful service. Paid £144 for a call out to fix our electric boiler. The problem was not resolved. Have been trying for the past 2 weeks to get someone to speak us regarding the issue. Repeatedly told that an Area Manager would be in touch and no one has been in touch. Had to get another company in to resolve the issue, which was resolved the same day they came. Really awful service. Would not recommend.

Excellent company with unbelievable customer service

I wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star, if there was an option for no stars that is what I would give. All trades, proceed with caution. They take money without permission. When you block their unprofessional staff, they assign somebody else to make contact with you. When you call them and ask the account to be deleted, they hang up. They ask for 50% commission and expect the remedial work as well. They don’t take no for an answer. Their staff are desperate and narcissistic. The worst decision I made was to accept their service.

To all trades, please avoid this company at all costs, I was asked to go do an emergency leak to a toilet near me so I accepted and and got to the customer with in the hour! I knocked the door and said who I was to which the customer said sorry about this but I don’t want your services, to which I replied ok and left. Txted my contact at professionals immediately and said it’s been cancelled so I couldn’t complete and so I didn’t get paid so neither will you in accordance to your terms and conditions. A months past and you take money for my account without my permission and think that’s ok . I call immediately and tell you to refund me the money to which you say you can’t but you can pay it back if I do more work for you!!
Well that’s not how you run a business ever.

So my short experience with this company is bad so please to all customers and trades people avoid this company at all costs

An electrician (Oz) that came around to extend the socket to other area of wall.
Very polite and understood the work fast. Got it done in couple of hours and charged reasonably. Very neat work and organised. He clearly knew what needs to be done. The trunking and cable route was cleverly hidden from eyesight. Also portion of cable at 2 ends hidden behind plasterboard. He had all parts and tools even though the issue was just briefed over the phone to a attendant.
Also I had to pay the electrician at the end of work rather than the company. I think this is how the business works. We pay the technician on the job.
I think if problem is clear and work hours are preliminary agreed the job should go smoother.
Really recommended.

Customer service poor, area manager lied and was useless, plumber no show after 3 hours, avoid at all costs, use any other service, would give 0 stars if I could

I have read through a few reviews and I sympathise with the people who did not get the service they had hoped for however, it is worth taking a deeper look into what they are providing. I was called by PI to attend a call out and they vetted my qualifications and public liability insurance before I was despatched. Some people have complained of the charges not representing value fo rmoney but it is worth bearing in mind that the costs of transport and travel time are included in the charges. Today for example I did a job which was invoiced at 2.5hrs on-site and travel was 1.5hrs in total & 80 miles. Calculated on my usual charge scale for an out of hours call out I received less than my standard charge, but I enjoy the variety of work. Proffs' Immediately do charge 50% commission on the labour element which might seem expensive but my contact seems to work 18 hr days getting engineers on-site for clients. I would expect that a large part of those funds goes to Google in order to stay high up the listings and generate the calls. Also worth bearing in mind that companies such as Airbnb and Booking.com charge 20% commission and their systems are fully automated so for the extra 30% you are getting a lot of management time and Google costs. If you are in a pickle try them - they are there to help!

Avoid at all costs. These guys are likely to appear on rogue traders soon. They sent me an operative who was instructed by head office to take the call out fee of just over £100 without even looking at the problem I reported. They then emailed me stating their hourly rate of £235. They left without remedying the issue and if I hadn’t protested they’d have made no attempt to even investigate the problem, they simply wanted to turn up and collect money. An absolute joke. No customer service. Strongly suggest you don’t call these guys. Waste of money, bordering on scam.

I needed a plumber to fit my new waching machine and dish washer and I called these guys. They sent me a plumber within the hour and promised me the plumber would do the whole job in less than £85. The other companies I called that day said they charged much more than that(starting from £140). So I chose professionalsimmediately. Plumber came , fixed everything quick , provided me with an invoice and then left. I am very happy with everything, definitely will call them again!

Had a plumber from this company and the service was good. They came on time and were transparent with the price. Would give 5 stars but I will use them one more time.
