The WORST proctor company! Taking a proctored exam / certification is never an enjoyable experience, but these guys are a joke. The amount of checks they ask for is insane..four corners of your room,... See more

Not even one star
Not even one star. I tried to schedule my exams and spots kept getting filled within seconds. It pushed me a month back so I quickly scheduled what I could. I called to ask if I could get in any sooner and I'd have to pay a rescheduling fee of $35. The only reason I scheduled it was to secure a spot to not get pushed back even further hoping they could make some accommodation. Also, they couldn't help me change the order of times I already scheduled same day without paying 3 different rescheduling fees. Very ridiculous. I'm asking for minor changes.
Just a scam to get you to come back and…
Just a scam to get you to come back and spend more on testing
I wish I could give fewer stars
I wish I could give fewer stars. Are any of the states that use this service to give their exams even vetting this company at all?! This is the email I just wrote Prometric's customer service department.
Every step of the process of working with Prometric has been horrible. First finding a suitable place to take my remote test was a nightmare. I followed everything in the user guide you sent. Maybe you don't know but all it says is to be alone and make sure there is no clutter on your desk or around you. It says nothing about windows, size of room glass doors etc. In fact, the pictures you use in that part of the user guide show people at a computer near uncovered windows, in large rooms, and near glass doors!!!! Your customer services representatives when I called were both unhelpful and unknowledgeable. I got sent from one person to the next and hung up on often. According to my phone, I have spent a total of 3 hours and 10 minutes on the phone calling you. That is longer than my 2 tests took. Then you never sent my results to NIPR. I talked to four separate candidate care reps. One told me that the results were sent to the state and they need to send them to NIPR(this isn't true. The mass DOI says that you are supposed to send them to NIPR )
The second said that they had been sent but needed to be processed. A third told me she had no idea if they were sent and she has no way to find out. Finally a fourth today told me that you were holding them because you didn't have my social security number. I find that extremely hard to believe. I know I had to type it in multiple times when I applied for my tests. If it is true why wouldn't you contact me and tell me you needed it? You have my phone number and email and have sent me numerous emails. You are causing me to miss a lot of work and are hurting me and my family financially. I'm sure writing this is pointless, because you don't care about your test takers you only care about the states that hire you to provide the testing services. But once I am licensed and have the ear of my state's DOI I will tell everyone how awful your service is. I will do everything I can to get them to switch to a different testing service provider. Your company and practically everyone I have interacted with in it is complete trash.
Avoid using for CISI exams
Customer service refuse to help and the remote exam software does not work at all. AVOID!
Horrible Service
Can't believe CSI uses this terrible service. I logged in for my exam. Got my security check done. I waited for my proctor for over 15 minutes and no one showed, so I disconnected and tried to reconnect. Now it says my confirmation # doesn't work. Tried all the troubleshooting on Prometric website and after several attempts, finally got a person on chat who couldn't help me. They referred me back to CSI who says I have to reschedule my exam. And they wouldn't even do it right away. If you have other options, don't go through CSI.
FRUSTATED..
FRUSTATED... I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE START THE TEST 5AM ... Software issues, online help totally incompetent & completely uninterested, phone line help - opening hours does not match advertised on website & in corresponding emails, help line quality severely poor & unable to converse in basic english. Refused to help stating I shall have to pay again to attempt exam.
Anti-Student Testing Experience
In my entire educational career, I have never once had such an abhorrent testing experience. Further, I have never been asked to inspect my ears, waistline or requested that I effectively renovate my office to "secure" my testing room. Especially since I'm expected to be on camera and my eye/body movements tracked.
While I can appreciate the concerns for security and testing integrity, the whole ideology from testing at home should be framed with the notion that we don't live in a testing auditorium.
DISGRACEFUL SERVICE
This utterly garbage service does not provide any consideration for people's real life situation. I disclosed everything to my proctor and that my family is living in ONE room and it is impossible to kick them out at ungodly 5am in the morning in the WINTER for the exam!!! I was almost done with my exams and they stopped me saying I was in breach of their rules even though I told each and every single proctor this is my situation which they accepted! They should have a system where students are dealing with ONE proctor and not with multiple proctor with different interpretation of the rules. Any educational institution that uses their services needs to reconsider this company's service. This can be easily carried out for free by their own staff online!!!! This company does not provide any value and gives educational instutions that uses their service a bad name!!!!
Faulty Scheduling Website

makes me fear for test day.
I have been unable to schedule my LSAT for January due to issues with the website and ineffective customer service. I anticipate a very bumpy test day based on this experience.

Doesn't even deserve a 1. Everyone has a thick accent and no one cares. It is terrible, awful, disastrous, traumatizing dealing with this company.
I do not recommend prometric at all!!
I do not recommend prometric at all!!! I wish there were other providers to get your CNA license in NY. They hire proctors who are completely incompetent of recording candidates skills exams. & they will not take your appeals or situation seriously when you request a thorough investigation into your case!
CELIA who is a proctor at bramstein school on Long Island was USING HER CELLPHONE during skills examination- clearly not paying attention then failed me for skills that WERE PERFORMED!!!! skills where I literally said OUTLOUD each step that was being performed. It’s disgusting!!!! Prometric called me a liar in other words. Has denied my appeals & also denied my refund request. I have had to put jobs on hold that were lined up once I reactivated my license. It’s a shame. It really is. Prometric is by far one of the WORST and most disgusting companies I have ever had to deal with.
Prometric provides automated testing…
Prometric provides automated testing facilities to the EU and many other large employers. One big problem is that the instructions do not match the actual testing environment and experience, and getting into the test can be extremely cumbersome technically. Getting test results, which can be automatically processed in seconds, can easily take three weeks, although they promise two weeks. There is no personal interaction and it's virtually impossible to reach them; they have sealed all accesses. It's a horribly rigid machine that makes you feel like tiny cog... one wrong move and you'll be squashed. It's just a hostile and human-unfriendly testing environment.
Scam
Scam. 100% scam. Software issues, online help totally incompetent & completely uninterested, phone line help - opening hours does not match advertised on website & in corresponding emails, help line quality severely poor & unable to converse in basic english. Refused to help stating I shall have to pay again to attempt exam.

Twice I have had exams booked and twice…
Twice I have had exams booked and twice I’ve been unable to write due to connectivity/launch concerns. Both times the computers (yes, I had a main and a back up computer) passed the pre checks. Both downloaded the app. Over 3hours for *each* attempt with tech support and no resolution. Chat bot kicked me out several times. Human tech support via provided wrong phone number to “escalate”. Escalation tells me there is nothing they can do and I cannot rebook through them. Unbelievable run around with no answers, technical or otherwise.

Does not deserve one star
Does not deserve one star. Website does not function properly, multiple attempts required to make a booking. Payment taken for a service that was not delivered. No way to contact company.
How does such an abysmally bad company get big government contracts? It's an interesting question.

Proproctor fails to proctor online test takers
Signed up through RelativityOne to take a certificate test and the test was to be proctored by ProProctor. Cleared all the system checks, signed in with phone and id, was placed in "A Proctor will be with you shortly" web page. Waited an hour. No procotor. The help phone number insutructs you to use an internet link. That link chat only gives the respone "...use the menu options.." There is no way to get human contact to solve the problem. After an hour of waiting, gave up and requested a refund. Not received a refund yet.
