Bad customer experience

They may make good bikes, but i can't know if it hasn't arrived past double the delivery time. First of all, the price on their website is without VAT, which is playing dirty to the other direct sales brands, which don't do it. Customer service is unexistant, it should be called ghost service. I have sent two mails and received not a single answer. They used DHL for shipping and it is taking more than one laboral week from germany to Barcelona. Maybe it is because it's coming from asis not europe? Who knows...

They just don't have the resources

They just don't have the resources. Been waiting spare part for my bike for over a month. Already when ordering the bike i had to wait for months. Never dealt with bike company this bad.

Excellent service excellent value

Excellent service excellent value from propain bicycles, my purchased the ekano e bike, the website let me configure the bike exactly how I wanted it. I contacted them through email when I needed any questions answered and they were very quick to respond by email. The bike was delayed what communication was very good around this. I had an issue with delivery with a bent front rotar, which was quickly replaced. I will definitely do business with them again and we'll promote their company with all my mountain bike friends. Super happy with my new bike.

Configure your.... nightmare

On the 4th of May I payed my Propain Tyee through the online configurator. "Configure your dream" they say.

Really, it's a nightmare: after the extimated date and they weren't able to satisfy it, customer care guys (I know it's not related to them, they are only the last ring of the chain) tell you a different story each day you try to speak with them. A continuos postpone who makes you frustated.

Three months later than the payment, I was able to get produced my bike carrying on to push the customer care; they shipped it (shipment cost amount 100 €, not really cheap): The actual result is that the bike is stored in a DHL Freight warehouse to a couple of km to my house because there are some problems with the shipment and actually I don't know when and if I will be able to ride my bike.

Favourite brand for many reasons!

Let me tell you, the Propain customer service kicks ass. I've broke on my spindrift a suspension link bolt, and they have sent me immediately, free of charge, a spare one! Replayed right away on my request. The whole brand stands up to its image, a exclusive boutique brand with direct sale and in house customer service. I will stick to Propain brand from now on.

I strongly advise against it

I strongly advise against it. I paid for the frame. I had to wait 3 months. It's been 4 months and I don't have a frame.
Every few days I ask Propain when the package will arrive and he gets the answer: Tomorrow we will send it. It's already 8 o'clock tomorrow. Days go by and there is no frame.

Very Satisfied with this order

Very Satisfied with this order. Ordered a Medium Spindrift AL Mix Frame. The frame was shipped about a week after the expected time and was well packaged. All accessories were there and I got exactly what I paid for. Being a Bicycle Mechanic for over 30 years I can tell you that these bikes a well made. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something that's built to last.

The bicycles are indisputably…

The bicycles are indisputably excellent, but the relationship with the customer must be improved a lot.
They don't always respond to emails and I got the feeling that not living in Germany my order was prioritized 2.

Great bike and great service - when you actually get service

Ordered my Hugene mid november 2022 with an expected delivery ind end of december. (I live in Denmark). Was forced to to an advance payment due to restrictions in the amount you can use with a Visa-card (apperently), but never recieved a confirmation for the payment. Tried to reach through mail and phone without luck

- However! They called and told me everything was okay with the payment (and sent me a confirmation), but their emailsystems are broken, so nobody recieves updates regarding their orders - and thus their custumer support is under much pressure because everybody calls them. The fork I chose was delayed from Fox, so they offered a free upgrade, and told me they excepted to deliver the bike start-mid january 2023. I just recieved my bike on the 19th of january - so pretty okay :) - and the bike rides like a dream.

Their custumer support is not very effective, even though they are super cool when you eventuelly catch them.

In Agost 2021 I had ordered a bike of…

In Agost 2021 I had ordered a bike of more than 5.000€ with schedulled delivery date on Febrary 2022.
I was asking them for a delivery date or alternatives for my "dream bike" and nowbody on the other side, only automatic replies. Then, in March and just bored I cancelled my order.
Now in May 2022 I´m still waiting for the credit and money back.
Propain people played and still are playing with many dreams and money. Is not a trust company to, not serious.
It´s a shame that a German company like Propain has this awfully management. I believed on this brand but now only can refuse of it and share my opinion because I think other people can suffer the same nightmare.
For all above, I recommend not to buy a propain bike.

Very happy with service and bike

Bought without ever seeing a propain or the Tyee, had all my questions quickly answered via email and I went ahead and ordered. Was kept up to date throughout and was delivered ahead of the lead time given at ordering. I’ve had the bike over a year now and it is fantastic, no issues. Regularly get positive comments as they aren’t that common at trail centres etc. Would highly recommend propain and a friend is about to order one too. My next bike is likely to be the new Tyee. Keep up the great work guys!
