Excellent service. First time I am using Proper Cloth, some slight adjustments required to get my perfect fit and customer service is excellent in working with me to make the exchange. Looks like I found my go to clothing company.

Proper cloth makes the best Oxford Cloth Button Down (OCBD) available at any price. It is a little difficult getting the sizing right so contact them directly for help with sizing. I made some frustrating mistakes with getting the right size, but frankly that was my fault. Take the time to call Proper Cloth directly or measure a shirt that fits you the way you like and you will be good to go. Instructions on how to measure a shirt you already have are on the website. Don’t wing it like I did, get your sizing right and you will love the Proper Cloth OCBD. They make the shirt in a wrinkle resistant cloth and in old school untreated cotton that can be starched for a formal look. You can also wear the shirt unstarched for a bit rumpled and laidback look. In my opinion, if a OCBD cannot be starched, it is not a real OCBD.

Sizing note: My measurements are not unusual, and the standard large was too tight accross the chest. (I am 5’8”, 165lbs, 43” chest, and have a 34” waist). Hope the sizing info is helpful.

You are not going to find a better OCBD anywhere at any price.

Custom sizing and designs are easy to understand and save for future orders. Huge material selection. Stitching quality is very good for price point. Fit seems consistent across multiple orders. No comparison to "off the shelf" options, especially for someone with unusual fit requirements. Much better value than having premium quality shirts tailored, and turnaround time is incredible.

The best men’s made to measure fashion manufacturer! I literally don’t shop anywhere else anymore. They have the best customer service, incredible quality and amazing variety of stylish clothes. I cannot recommend them enough.

Proper Cloth is so much easier and more precise and friendly at helping to establish measurements in one’s profile! Once you climb that curve, it is very easy to use your profiles to order shirts, coats, trousers and accessories from a huge selection of carefully explained fabrics and they come in a few weeks, fitting perfectly and bespoke, at a fraction of the cost!

The Home fit try on is super neat, they let you talk with a pro and see how the measurements work for you. The clothes fit well, and look good.

I was genuinely impressed by Proper Cloth. The shirt and trousers I ordered were beautifully made, with clean construction and fabric that feels premium without being flashy. The fit was spot-on straight out of the box.

What really surprised me was the packaging and presentation - meticulous, careful, and far above what most brands offer at this price point. Everything arrived protected, pressed, and ready to wear.

If you value precise fit, refined fabrics, and reliable service, this is a company worth buying from. I'll definitely order again.

I've been ordering from this company since before the pandemic. Everything has been first rate. I order a lot of clothing online; Proper Cloth is head & shoulders above all of them.

Make sure that you book an online appointment with one of their staff to get properly measured. The custom fit makes a big difference.

I can't comment on their returns policy as I have never had to use it.

I've been using Proper Cloth for years and they never disappoint. Some other providers start to skimp on quality once they've got a loyal customer base but not Proper Cloth.

The quality is always spot on. It's easy to adjust the sizing as your body changes over time (I've been using them for well over a decade). The customer service is excellent.

Quality is superb. If you have been longing for a flannel shirt that reminds you of how they use to be made, this is it. Fine material in a perfect weight made to your specifications for the fit.
