I contacted Property Turkey in May 2022 in connection with investment in a property for getting citizenship of Turkey . My experience with them has been fantastic, to say the least! From the time I started by browsing their very informative website & raising a query, being contacted by Shaheer Hassan who introduced PT & walked me through my choices, visiting Istanbul and being shown properties by Aleyna & finalizing one of our choice, documentation, payment and until finally getting the Title Deed within a very short time due to the impending increase in investment amount, their services were professional, friendly and of high integrity.

I would like to make a special mention of Shaheer Hassan of PT who guided me in the right direction from day one until now with a high degree of professionalism. He was available to answer my questions and solve my problems (even for issues not pertaining to his area) at any time of the day or night with a lot of patience & sincerity. But for him I don’t think I could have closed the deal within the deadline. Most importantly, he never gave any false promises as a lot of sales people do and lived upto whatever he promised because of which he earned my complete trust, something which is very rare in this industry, and is a testimony to the good work ethics & training in PT.

I would also like to put on record my appreciation of Ms. Aleyna of PT who tirelessly drove us around the city, showed us properties on a weekend, gave us a lot of information and helped us to select the right property.

I would strongly recommend Property Turkey to anyone looking to buy a property in Turkey, not only for the wide range of options they provide, but also for the professionalism & integrity they bring to the table.

Robin (PT) en Cemil (Alanya Office) have been very helpful in finding us the right house. First contact was with Robin and he kept in touch troughout the proces and after. Cemil guided us locally and showed us multiple areas and possibilities, which made it easier for us to decide. Robin was available for questions all the time. Both responded fast to any questions. Cemil arranged all appointments and paperwork to get the title deeds. If I would have to name anything, it would be concerning settlement at the bank. Things work in a different way in Turkey and a bit more information about the ins and outs of the local bank would have been welcome. All in all, a good experience with Property Turkey.

We have just concluded the purchase of two apartments in Istanbul and started the application process for Turkish Citizenship.
The team at PT (Myriem, Onur and Dilara from LP Legal) have really worked hard to ensure that we get the title deeds and start the citizenship application process before the cutover date from $250K to $400K investment amount.
Myriem, who was our first point of contact, impressed us with her professionalism and very personal service since day one. That gave us trust and confidence to proceed with PT. Both Myriem and Onur promptly addressed our queries and ensured that we were fully satisfied rather than pushing through to quickly complete the sale. Our attorney Dilara has been very honest and upfront with us about all the requirements. In spite of being extremely busy, she has been working diligently at every stage of the process.

Dealing with Property Turkey (hereby referred as PT) has been one of the most stressful, agonizing experiences of my entire life.

After getting in touch with PT, I was directed to Mr. Kerem. Bright, passionate and hard-working, he compiled a list of properties that best matched my requirements, which we then narrowed down to a couple. So far so good.

The nightmare began soon after. After a viewing trip with Mr. Serkan, he highly recommended a property which was seemingly 3 months away from delivery. At that point, I made it unequivocally clear that my elderly mother and I were on the cusp of escaping socioeconomic calamity in our home country, and thus were looking for a place to move into ASAP to resettle and start anew. Not to worry, he said. After getting in touch with the developer in front of us, he confidently declared: “you can move in within 45 days”. This was in August, 2021.

Based on this, we booked our return flight to Istanbul for mid-November. To our dismay, when we arrived we saw very little progress. Apparently, the developer had been experiencing delays. We did not complain, instead choosing to go furniture shopping in anticipation of future delivery. We booked another return flight to Istanbul in January 2022. Once again, upon arrival, we found that work had not progressed. I immediately contacted Mr. Serkan for an update. WEEKS later, he informed me that the move-in date was rescheduled until March 1. We booked yet another return flight to Istanbul in May.

It is now June 2022, and the apartment is approximately in the same state as it was in November 2021, barring a few installed doors. Since then, we have spent upwards of 10,000 USD on flights into and out of Istanbul, short-term accommodation and other miscellaneous costs. Meanwhile, the furniture that we ordered is rotting in warehouses. That, of course, does not include the heavy emotional burden that we have had to endure.

After months of inaccurate updates (to avoid calling them sheer lies), Mr. Serkan stopped responding to our calls and messages; we were advised to speak with Mr. Salih instead. To make matters worse, neither PT nor the developer have offered us any form of compensation. And to top it all off, I have very little recourse to the rule of law, seeing as the technical sales contract (which Mr. Serkan had supposedly coordinated with our lawyer) was not even signed by the developer! No one bothered to inform us of this, instead choosing to kick the can down the road. If we were told the truth about this financially-challenged developer from the beginning, we would have at least opted to sign a 6-month or even 1-year rental contract while waiting for completion.

LONG STORY SHORT, I was bamboozled into buying a unit in a building that was deceivingly almost completed by a developer who apparently has been having “financial problems”, and left without legal protection and no compensation for all financial and emotional damage incurred. I am also unable to apply to the Turkish ID / Passport in Istanbul because I do not have a tangible place of residence.

Had I known I would be in this situation, I would have saved myself the hefty commission that comes with dealing with an allegedly professional company and went browsing on Sahibinden (a local property finder website), or contacted a local Emlak (real estate agency) instead! I thought employing the services of such a company would make my life easier; I was painstakingly wrong.

Needless to say, I will never again work with Property Turkey, and have since directed two of my friends who are in the same unfortunate immigration situation as I am toward more client-centric competitors who will treat them with the dignity and respect that any human being deserves, especially one looking for refuge.

The only reason I gave PT 2 stars instead of 1 (or 0 if that were an option) is because I am fair and I’ve always given credit where credit is due. Aside from Mr. Kerem’s (who has since become a friend) professional and empathetic conduct, two other employees may be lauded for their actions.

Mr. Muhammet is a highly competent, compassionate and emotionally-intelligent employee. If it were up to me, he’d be the face of the company.

Mr. Salih is very responsive, patient and proactive. He did not spare an effort to try to help remedy the situation after Mr. Serkan stopped responding. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done.

I invite the company’s head, Mr. Deggin, whom both Mr. Kerem and Mr. Muhammet spoke very highly of (and I believe them) to re-evaluate the performance of some of his employees, in order to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, thereby making his business more sustainable in the long term.

I have a pleasant experience in buying three studio units in Turkey. I am motivated but being a foreigner, entirely clueless on how to make it happen. I made the right choice in working with them and Mr. Hakan Onal made sure I can do all the process in ONE day of my visit. (succeeding days were Eid holidays) As of the moment, I got the title deed for all the properties and in the process of applying for Turkish citizenship - all through their help. The team has been excellent in guiding me and understanding in terms of my opinions and plans. All in all will definitely recommend to reach out to them and see that they are transparent and working for their clients' best interests.

Property Turkey is the first and most updated with all the news about Turkey real state. They know all the hidden gems(property) in there. So its our luck when we wanted to buy a property in Turkey, thankfully we just bumped into this company at first hand. I really appreciate their great team with full information, talented person with confidence, fast and very much knowledgeable about what they are doing. I like it most.

Buying property in online is something we think very difficult. And ofcourse it is. But they made it quite easy with there very helpful team.

We had the pleasure of working with Ayberk Kapusuz at Property Turkey with the post sale department. It was a very wonderful surprise that Property Turkey has such a department, but the bigger surprise was what a wonderful person they have on their team. Ayberk was very helpful from the moment we met him until we left Istanbul. He made sure that every small detail was handled. Our trip was very limited in time and Ayberk was able to help us achieve everything from turning on the electricity to our name and handling the purchasing of furniture and even handling our banking situations. He was always on time and very patient with us. He paid attention to all of our needs and I could not be any happier. I've contacted Property Turkey to buy a small condo apartment in Istanbul, as an investment and as a back-up option for myself to live in retirement. I've been dealing with Nargiz (real estate broker) and Ece and Buce (lawyers from LP Legal). I can't be any happier as a result of their work. Not only did they find a "gem" apartment for me, but they also spent a lot of time and effort on helping me arrange for the payment procedure online with my bank (which was a big pain for me). They assisted me at every step of the process, answering my calls at odd hours (time difference: Canada/Turkey) and on weekends. I am very impressed with the human approach towards the client, that i've witnessed, from these employees. I purchased an apartment from Property Turkey in October 2021 and everything was excellent. Recently I went back to collect the flat keys with Mr. Serdar from Property Turkey. Everything went smoothly except for an issue I had with my bank. Even though it wasn’t Mr Serdar duty, he was kind enough to come with me and sort my problem out.
I strongly recommend this company because they treat customers as a friend.

Turkey being a popular tourist destination has always been a best place for scammers to scam people easily, and considering moving to turkey was always difficult to decide as the language barrier is vast and as a non native to this place always make you a pray to the scammers and when it comes to investing your hard earned money into a place and city like Istanbul you always need someone you trust your money with, Property turkey and Turkan were always right there to guide me through it and i can say with experience that you can always put your trust in them.
