On arrival
On arrival, receptionist was on phone but completely ignored me.
Even when off phone,he still failed acknowledge me for further 5-10 mins.
Asked me where wheel nut was; on telling him was in glove compartment, he told me no good and needs be on passenger seat.
From Appointment time to leaving,was there for NINETY MINUTES for just 2 tyre being changed.
Reception area full of people who reported also been waiting ages for feedback car,updates(not a good atmosphere in their)
Walk in person greeted friendly by Receptionist and dealt with asap cf poor couple who had been there over hour with no update on their car,had asked about it but Receptionist chose NOT deal with them but Walk in instead
Receptionist appeared be "having bad day" as heard muttering under his breathe about Staff efficiency(not very professional)
Would NOT go there again

Outstanding service
I couldn't fault anything about the service I was provided during my visit.
I booked in on the Friday, had my rear tyres replaced the next day and it only took around half an hour.
The staff were friendly and I felt welcomed.
I'd 100% recommend this business.

2 tyres fitted to my hilux
2 tyres fitted to my hilux. On inspection a few days later there’s a huge score mark on one of my alloy wheels right on the edge. Thought about taking it back but I highly doubt protyre will take any responsibility. Will never use again!

I've been using this garage for years and continue to receive excellent service every time, no matter what my vehicle is booked in for.
One of the things I value most is the honesty -I completely trust them to advise me on what work does or doesn't need doing. As someone who doesn't know a great deal about cars, that transparency really gives me peace of mind.
The staff are always friendly and approachable, especially the two team members who usually handle bookings in and out — they're always helpful and welcoming.
Overall, I feel the service receive is great value for money, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Bridgend - Customer service improving rapidly in 2026!
As most people, I only leave review if I am very annoyed or very surprised / satisfied.
I had an issue that was dealt with in professional manner and resolved quickly.
The manager Andrew Kriescher resolved my issue very quickly which I was pleased with, despite the issue occurring prior to his appointment at Bridgend, Princess Way.
I also had good service from the female technical floor manager, who actually seems to care about car issues and understands they are critical at 70mph which was obvious with my own issues and with other customers.
So yes, I am pleased with the Bridgend Branch in 2026 so here is my positive review, the difference in hiring the correct staff that care is like night and day!

Refusal to fit wheels
So imagine being a tyre/ wheel shop and refusing to fit BRAND NEW WHEELS/ TYRES. You’re still going to get your hourly labour charge. Absolutely ridiculous. Imagine turning down £70 for less than 5 minutes worth of work.
Last time I ever use this company. Word will be spread.
