We pay for gold service but receive extreme poor service. The car engine oil leakage as result.

Booked to have 2 front tyres changed…

Booked to have 2 front tyres changed and full wheel alignment picked car up paid the the jobs done took car Haf to take car back 2 days later due to vibration on steering for them to re balance tyres and so the alignment when got the alignment paperwork it dated the date we took it back in 2 days after it was supposed to be done so they obviously didn’t do it the day it was supposed to be done, but clearly told us it was done but to find out it wasn’t so they had charged us for the work thst didn’t get done, and we only found out due to the vibration on steering ( don’t use them obviously ripping people off saying works been done when it clearly wasn’t )

Ordered the tyre's on-line on Thursday…

Ordered the tyre's on-line on Thursday . Booked in for the Saturday. When I arrived on the Saturday, I was told the tyre's wasn't in stock.
Could have phoned me to rebook.
When I did go to have the tyre's fitted everything was good. The man who fitted the tyre's had good attention to detail (aligned the centre caps with the dust caps)

I made a 10:30 am appt to fit new…

I made a 10:30 am appt to fit new premium car tyres Saturday bank holiday. On arrival, I nicely requested if they can add MOT, and responded negatively (not that day), that is okay as my response.
At 11:31 accdng to my incoming phone calls, the garage rang if i am still interested for the MOT to be done, with obvious reason i said yes.Remember my appt was 10:30.
As I came from night shift, I have to stay out of bed awake awaiting update for my said car.
At 15:32 I rang the garage asking for an update (at this stage why do i have to call them, it shld be vice versa) and replied ready in half an hour. Hence i have to shoot off to collect my car, I reached the said garage 16:25 ( it took me this time cos I have very urgent family call prior) and even saw gentleman working on his van in the garage. And sadly it is closed and not open until monday. At this moment, I am furious cos I need my car all day Sunday for an impt journey.
Come Monday, I just said how come nobody told me you’re closed before 5 pm last Saturday. And the funny thing, they said, they rang me and mentioned the car’s ready. Nowadays all phone calls are recorded either missed calls or answered calls.
Pls if you are doing business, pls be honest. Pls you can say sorry.
I got the tyres i paid for and just hoping i got the expected service.
I used this garage before but because of such experience i have second thoughts
utilising them.
I do normally write good reviews…. Not on this occasion.

I would strongly advise avoiding this…

I would strongly advise avoiding this garage.

I took my car in for an MOT and was immediately quoted completely unreasonable prices. They tried to charge me £260 for a single tyre, which raised my suspicions straight away. On top of that, they claimed the windscreen washer system was “blocked” and wanted £100 to fix it, despite it simply not having enough water pressure — something that clearly didn’t justify that cost.

They also said both front headlights needed realignment at £50 per light. My car has a built-in adjustment control for the headlights, which shows they either didn’t understand the vehicle or were trying to upsell unnecessary work.

As a result, they failed the MOT. I then took the car to my local trusted garage, waited a few days, and the only issue was the tyre — replaced for £150, with no mention of any of the other so-called problems.

To make matters worse, the car was returned dirty, as if someone had been eating inside.

Overall, a very poor experience. This garage seems more focused on overcharging than providing honest service. I recommend looking elsewhere and getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work.

Had 4 new tyres fitted - very happy customer

Booked online to have 4 new tyres fitted to my car (to replace 4 mismatched tyres that came with it when I bought it). What an excellent experience all round! From the phone call with the very friendly and helpful Montel to confirm my appointment through to the tyre fitting itself (so sorry, didn't get the tyre fitter's name but he was brilliant). The atmosphere was professional but relaxed and friendly as well and the tyre fitting was done in good time. I was super pleased with the service and highly recommend ProTyre Wednesfield.
