Great gym!
Very professional setup with lots of space and plenty of equipment. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The induction session was great. There's a really good atmosphere to the place when you go in.

Friendly staff
Friendly staff. Member of staff gave me induction on the first day even though I hadn't booked one.
Best thing is you get in, no one speaks to you, do your thing, out again. Perfect

Older peoples class
After attending the 1st coffee morning and chatting to another member who expressed his interest in a class designed for the older members i seen fit to voice this conversation to the AGM of the branch and at the same time a GM from another branch heard this relaying of information and said this is the type of information we need from our clients..... it is a worthwhile class as you have enough members that would avail of it, even a trial of this type of class couldnt and shouldnt go amiss. Get a 5 star rating next time by catering for our local senior members.

Great gym
Great range of classes which you can do at your own pace, great range of equipment and nice atmosphere. Some of the instructors seem a little inexperienced but aside from that all good.

Great functional area
Pros:
Gym has all the normal equipment you would expect and a large functional training area including 6 blkbox racks, skiERG, rowers, bikeERG, Hex dumbbells, and weighted balls.
Changing rooms bright, modern and always very clean. Decent range of weights and machines.
Cons:
The temperature in the showers can't be changed.
Aircon never seems to be running instead the doors are left open which doesn't really help with the heat.

Welcoming but needs more overseeing by staff
It can be overcrowded sometimes, with people sitting on the equipment using their phones and not actually doing anything. It makes it difficult to access the equipment. Some people leave their belongings on certain machines and move about the gym, which also leaves some equipment unusable.
The rowing machines face the wall which can be quite boring when using them. There is one in the middle of the floor but this space is usually busy.

Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment I would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further.

Have never joined a gym before
I had never been a member of a gym before but PureGym makes it so comfortable and rewarding to. I love the app and all of its features, I love being able to book classes (that is big for me whilst I am gaining confidence in attending a gym) the class instructors are all great. Enthusiastic, motivating and super friendly.
Really great environment for anyone wanting to workout at all fitness levels

Unfortunately I have cancelled my membership due to lack of time and motivation. The process was quick and simple and actually made me think about coming back later in year if I get the motivation back

A new gym in Ballymena Hey!
Great new gym with lots of equipment and free weights. Quiet during off peak times which suits me. Helpful, friendly staff. Changing rooms and showers a bit on the small side but kept clean. Showers could be warmer and more powerful.
