Amazing PT
I started personal training with Patricia a few months ago, and she has been absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of general fitness, strength training, and nutrition is exceptional.
Since starting with her, I’ve lost weight, built muscle, and gone from being injured to completely injury-free. When I first began, I couldn’t run at all due to injuries and a lack of fitness. Now, I’ve just completed a 10k in 50 minutes — something I never thought I’d be able to do.
Every session is different, challenging, and well thought out, and I can genuinely see and feel the results. My diet used to be poor due to a lack of education, but Patricia has completely changed that. I now eat healthy, balanced meals and enjoy foods I’d never tried before.
I would highly recommend Patricia to anyone who genuinely wants to improve their health and fitness. I really value that she’s not only a PT but also a trained nutritionist — it shows in the quality of her coaching and the results she delivers

Good selection of equipment but always way too crowded. You have to go really late in the evening if you don’t want the gym to be super busy.

Only able to extend my stay after my existing stay hAd expired. Crazy process.
The instructions for completing my extension were v difficult to follow
All in all a most unsatisfactory experience Saved only by Gemma from the Banbury management team who was msgnigicent and so v helpful

Cheap gym
It was easy to open an account.
The gym is clean, sometomes the machines are out of service.
But you have to check times i try to go at 6pm impossible to workout its packed. I think they need a second gym in banbury.

Easy to rejoin
Easy to rejoin , was a bit confused when I got two receipts both for the same amount but sent at different times so had to check I hadn’t been charged twice but i hadn’t! I love puregym for the fact that you can cancel and rejoin so easily.

Good Value Gym
24/7 availability good modern gym equipment clean showers and toilets an assortment of gym classes and knowledgeable staff. All in all I think it’s good value!

Sign up process is very easy and all gym is also very very good clean and nice but the price and joining fee is abit excessive abit to high should be lowered a little bit for people who want to join but may not be able to afford it other than that very good.

PT’s do not answer e-mails/whatsapp mesages, gym always above it’s capacity! Unless you have a very strong will to keep going you going to get bored very easily at this gym!

In general the gym is really good.
In general the gym is really good so no general problem. For specific feedback, the treadmills need an increased maintenance regime. There have been a couple of occasions where the machine i use is third/fourth time lucky as the first ones i get on have either, not turned on, are unbalanced and wobble, recoil springs are poor so it sends shocks through my knees with the movement, and one sounded like a jet engine when the motor started spinning.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.

Banbury- Temp
Banbury- Temp. is very cold!! Despite it is being a gym environment having this cold temp. could cause illness. Should be 18C at least, but I am 100% sure it wasn’t more than 13-14C. Really disappointing.
No mirrrors - especially upstairs. You should consult with a qualified interior designer before the refurb. as you took away one of the most important element in a gym, ( mirror )
Toilets are dirty!!!!!!!!!

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.
