Bedford Pure gym
Bedford Pure gym Connell the only instructor left giving amazing lessons, he delivers from the heart always gives extra time at the end for abs work and stretching, he listens to the class is knowledgeble with a Wealth of experience and really cares about delivering the class, he is approachable, and always has time for everyone. He is an assett to pure gym as the classes have become non existant as they can't seem to keep any PT, not surprising really when the PT have to pay them
PAY YOUR PT, and keep them don't loose Connell as well he is a diamond.

Out of date products (vending machine)
I purchased a protein shake post workout and during the course of drinking it noticed there was a lot of lumps. Having checked the date the product had expired in December 2024. I am now suffering with a horrific stomach ache.

I liked the changing rooms
I liked the changing rooms, nice and big with plenty of room. It would be nice if there were some punch bags for boxing.

Cheap but dirty
There are numerous issues with this gym.
1. The lockers are rickety. Even with a padlock, they don't always lock correctly. They can still easily be opened. Locking mechanism design flaw.
2. Dirty. Changing rooms are smelly. The showers are disgusting. Pubic hairs all over. Changing rooms cold. Are they cleaned. If so when!?
3. The gym is poorly maintained. The equipment does not move smoothly, there is resistance when letting weights down which defeats the purpose of some of the machines. The filth under the weight racks is inexcusable. Layers of dust and grime. The manky disgusting and worn out carpet tiles is a cheap design mistake. Why is everything so cheap and nasty? Why do we settle for shoddy and dirty places like this?
4. The classes are actually good but only 30mins but why so cold!? Are you saving on heating puregym?
5. Staff are good. When they are there.
6. So many people sit and waste time on their phones selfishly taking ages. They think it is only 1min, in reality 5min. Some other gym goers can be intimidating at times. E.g. groups of teenagers not at all training even remotely seriously. Weights not returned. When busy chaos and machine blocking.
Overall, an embarrassingly poor gym. Cheap and no frills yes but there's no excuse for dirt and grime. There is no way I'd stay at this gym long term.

Had my locker broken into
Had my locker broken into, men’s jewellery necklace chain was stolen. Similar thing a few months ago money was taken from wallet. Even in a secure padlock locker.
The gym is ok, I just get on and gym but have noticed over the months more young youths seem to be using the gym. More shady people have been attending and increase risk of lockers and items going missing.
Reported, will see what happens. But won’t be going here anymore.

Predatory Guests
I think some of your customers must think they are watching YouTube live or something. Following you around the gym like Instagram. It's predatory and needs to be stopped. Now I know why everyone seems so uptight in there.

I went to PureGym with a friend today…
I went to PureGym with a friend today and I had a great experience. There was a wide variety of machine, the other members were lovely (a lady helped us figure out the leg press machine) and the gym was very clean, with cleaning wipes available to wipe down the machines for the next user. The changing rooms were clean with lots of lockers available. All in all a great experience.

Gym is well equipped with open space…
Gym is well equipped with open space and plenty of equipment for people. However, they could have cleaning equipment spread out more rather than one centralised.
