Puregym blackburn
Puregym blackburn, avoid avoid avoid. Money grabbing pt called Dylan.
Contacted puregym but no way to talk to anyone and escalate.
Sold a personal training plan and the pt cancels or rearranged sessions last minute. Paid for 8 sessions received 4. Not fulfilled the obligations so decided to cancel due to contract not being met.
Tries taking payment on numerous occasions even though explained i was cancelling.
Appalling customer service. Now done a charge back for the 4 sessions not received as completely unhappy with the passive aggressive nature of this guys behaviour and hopefully it gets resolved ASAP.
Will go to the ombudsman if this behaviour continues. Puregym, sort your staff out!

Personal Training is arranged directly with the PT and not PureGym, as such we cannot be liable for any payments made. We do try and help our members where possible, and it would really help us if you could get in touch directly with the Gym Manager to provide more information (such as dates, times and names etc.) so that they can look into this concern and investigate further. The staff are nice and supportive. I can tackle every single muscle using g puregym equipment. The membership is reasonable and affordable compared to other gyms.

Honestly the worst gym I’ve ever…
Honestly the worst gym I’ve ever stepped foot in. (As an pt annd fitness coach of 15 years) After 3 visits I cancelled my membership….. it’s not a gym, it’s a crèche. None of the staff are checking ages, they are never resetting the gym and they don’t seem to care that half the members are vaping openly on the gym floor. The new gym hasn’t even been open 2 months and it’s diabolical. No attachments, horrendous cables that have been slammed they are no longer safe or even, staff don’t seem to know how to manage a gym floor, I even witnessed a member punch the wall leaving a fist mark for no reason other than his legs hurt after his set 🤷♀️ it’s a sh**show. AVOID. I’ve messaged in to IG like webpage says to be it it’s been ignored… shocker

New gym is great!
New gym is great! All new, well designed. I love the functional area and the women reserved area. Everyone was nice, great experience for an Italian girl in Blackburn!

If there was an option for no stars id hit that because this is what they deserve!
I booked an induction for my elderly disabled father and my disabled sister, I joined my sister up with the gym 3 months ago and she still can't have access to the gym and not had the opportunity to use her membership.
I've tried to call the gym managers many times they never answer the calls or respond to any calls or messages.
I managed to get hold of Adam and booked a induction for both my father and sister. I saw Adam this morning at the gym and told him that I will be bringing both family members to the gym for induction at 1:30pm, I went home came back an hour later with the new members to find he isn't there.
Myself, my elderly father and my sister Waited in the gym like idiots for some time and I called the office mobile, many times, left messages, but there was no response, *i still have not recieved a call back or any response to my messages absolutely ridiculous, the customer service is extremely bad.
Its so unfair. I dragged my sister and elderly dad out of bed to join this disgraceful gym. I made contact with the customer services on live chat still had no response.
Such ignorance and unprofessionalism, I will never recommend pure gym to no one and will stay away myself.

I’m fuming my account has been canceled…
I’m fuming my account has been canceled even though I paid the 1st months payment they said there was a problem with my D/D and I had 14 days to contact them. Not even a week later they cancelled my account which was less than the 14 days. I sent emails as they have no customer service number which have been ignored. They have the cheek to message and say join again you owe me 3 weeks as I only went for 1 week and they have not responded to my emails when they say the response is within 24 hrs. What a rip off gym who takes peoples money!!

Where shall I start... It's not a good gym
Where shall I start... Let me see.
I am a lady and deserve respect, which includes strange man looking at me while I am showering or changing my clothes, because there's no changing rooms as such, only dirty showers and toilets in Blackburn Puregym.
I wrote about this situation to the Manager, but what he wrote me back was utterly disgusting. He said if anything will happen I am going to investigate... Excuse me, so instead of assisting a female cleaner to ladies shower rooms for our safety and decency, he is going to wait for the worst to happen and in the meanwhile let the male cleaners without badges look at ladies freely while they shower or changing clothes or anything they want to do in private.
The Manager has no problem with that at all, I must be patient and wait until something wrong worth mentioning will happen then he is going to take action.
The same day I received alert from PureGym Blackburn that I shared my PIN with someone? What I don't know anyone in this town, I am here on business...
How convenient that this allegedly PIN sharing happened the same day I sent the complaint email to the gym Manager... Wow how vindictive.
They're things happening at night in male changing rooms which will make your hair stand up...
Gym A/C never works, it's overcrowded almost all the time. It has a bad smell of sweat and dumb. Awful!

In order to keep the changing facilities to the high standard of cleanliness we expect, regular checks are made in both the male and female changing facilities. This is an operational requirement, and does mean that on occasion, it may be that a member of the opposite sex must enter the changing facilities if it is within a period where there are no female members of the team on shift and vice versa for the male changing facilities. Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.

The gym instructor, Emma, was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. The gym was spacious and clean and parking was nearby.
