Enjoying the classes so far…
Enjoying the classes so far and polite staff in the gym and through messenger or other correspondence. Only issue was some classes were cancelled over the weekend but I only received a notification for one class on one day and still arrived for the other classes to discover they were all cancelled. 😊

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

A good gym!
Really well-kept, well-stocked and maintained. The only issue is that the showers tend to be a bit dirty, particularly the floor of the cubicles. Would also be great if the womens' section could be expanded with more machinery available!

Please be aware due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible, so please keep an eye out for updates. Need more benches at the free weights area
Showers could be alot cleaner and the power of the showers could be stronger, feels like its falling apart and in one shower cubicle looked.like mould in the corner shower.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym which is useful for planning ahead.
If you have any specific suggestions, we advise passing this on to the Gym Manager or leaving this in the feedback box which is regularly reviewed.

I've done two stretch classes so far…
I've done two stretch classes so far and I loved it, however the music was way to loud so could not hear the instructions so had to keep stop and look what she was doing.
Also, all your classes are about abs and strength and pump up. Not everyone wants a 6 pack abs. It's very specific targeted for a type of exercises. I would love some yoga or pilates classes.

We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time. Yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes are taught by an external instructor which not all gyms have. However this could always be subject to change if someone is interested in renting the studio space for this type of class.

Not a good experience
I did not like the gym as soon as you walk in it’s full of men that stare at u whilst walking in and out. There should be a separate passage for women to walk in and there are less machines in the ladies room, the toilets are dirty disgusting to use they should have cleaners to clean up and no one to help no gym instructors around and I have skin problem hand condition which I find extremely difficult to open and close the lockers it’s causing me pain I will be leaving this gym to join a ladies only one

Great gym experience
This is only my second gym session and I've been walking around clueless and overwhelmed off what to do. Regular gym members have helped me through it showing me how to use the equipment and have aided me a lot. Also the staff here are nice, they speak to you in a polite tone and if you struggle on how to use anything they walk you through it. Lastly everyone there from regular gym members to staff are super helpful and friendly

Really hard to find what you want the…
Really hard to find what you want the weights are all over the place so spent majority of gym time searching gym floor for what I needed. Maybe some house rules on the door when you walk in about putting things back and looking after equipment?

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.

Love this gym it’s become my second home in the last year, the staff are amazing and so helpful, and I’ve just recently started doing pt sessions there and enjoying them so much!! Really recommend PureGym overall!! ❤️
