Stay away from this particular member of staff!
I had a really uncomfortable experience with one of the male personal trainers, Hanif, during a class I took part in recently. As someone fairly new to the gym, I found his approach more than disencouraging. He shouts a lot during sessions and publicly tells people off if they aren’t doing an exercise perfectly, which is embarrassing and off-putting rather than helpful.
I’ve also heard from others that he tends to single out Asian women unless they are paying clients, which is extremely concerning and makes the environment feel unwelcoming.
On top of that, I have seen an article online, about his past involving serious murder charges, and it genuinely baffles me that the gym would employ someone with such a reputation without addressing concerns openly.
Overall, he comes across as rude and narcissistic, and unfortunately I doubt anything will be done beyond a slap on the wrist. I really hope the other staff aren’t like this, as I would like to try more classes, but this experience has definitely put me off for now.

This is a nice friendly gym. Separate women's only working out space and changing rooms which is nice for the ladies. Good range of equipment and fairly priced. Just hope it keeps getting bigger.

When you freeze your account
When you freeze your account, one month if that reopened the membership to be then charged £28 which is appalling, won’t be joining again!

Visited Puregym Bradford Thornbury on a three day pass, OMG firstly the smell hits you when you walk in…. Takes your breath away! Floor and gym equipment filthy dirty and in need of a good clean, bins overflowing with garbage not being emptied, attendants seem to be distracted with there personal devices and attentive to customer that need support, I was there an hour and felt very uncomfortable with the environment and wanted to leave, please keep my pass fees and buy some cleaning products your filthy animals !

I nearly vomited at last last visit as I had to remove a used sanitary items before I could shower. I have never been so disgusted in all my life at fellow women, hate to imagine what their homes are like………

If you're disabled go elsewhere
As a disabled person I'm unable to use the facilities until the manager at Bradford Thornbury eventually reads their emails. Nonetheless they set the start date from the day I joined online so I'm being penalised for the manager's lack of response

Really easy to join Pure Gym
Really easy to join Pure Gym. Amazing how quick the set up was, any questions I had in my mind were basically answered as I went through. Once I had my PIN and downloaded the App I was amazed at the quality of information provided and to follow this up I’ve booked a get started session for the first day of my membership, followed up by an email from Jake, confirming the appointment and where to meet him on the day. I would highly recommend this.

Dead depressing vibes
The vibe was just dead, very depressing lighting and there was music on but it was soo quite could barely tell its there, gotta be louder. Smells a bit as well.
