Very bad management of the class timetable
Classes being changed all the time or cancelled. Your timetable needs to be updated to show the right person is running the class. One class was timetabled for a certain instructor and they weren’t even working that day. Seems a bit pointless to even put the name of the instructor, if they’re not even in the gym or run a class and then it not be on because they’re off. I suggest you update your timetable correctly. If they can be cancelled at the last minute then they can also be updated to show the correct instructor at the last minute.

Died and went to gymnasium heaven.
An experience I can only liken to a divine intervention. The staff, heavenly in nature. The clientele, of equal angelic quality. Every piece of equipment felt like it had been grafted by God himself. My muscles were engorged with blood from the moment I lay hand on any piece of equipment. My heart rate elevated from pure elation was further raised by the thrill of the treadmill and it's silky smooth action. I could go on to describe the pristine paint on the walls or warm and soft to the touch of my bare foot carpet. But I shall leave it with a few simple words, this gym is nothing short of heavenly.

Very simple to rejoin on the website
Very simple to rejoin on the website, I haven't been to the gym since 2022 and really need to get into shape the website is helpful and has good work outs I will try over the times I do go.

Equipment is of High Quality and Quantity
The equipment was very good, both the quality and quantity of it. Haven't been to a gym like this in a long time where there are quality bars, loads of squat racks, lifting platforms, loads of cable machines, etc... Plenty for everyone. As an experienced oly weightlifter, it is very good. Debating about making this my full time gym when I move to Bristol soon.

Puregym facilities
Overall there is a good range of machines and free weights. The showers are filthy and stone cold on every visit. It's unstaffed in the evenings

So hot and smelly
So hot and smelly. Unclean equipment and nobody wiping down or re-racking their weights. What's more the email with the pin takes about 15mins to arrive so stood outside waiting until someone let me in. The pin needs to be integrated into the first email, not after a delay.

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.

Inquire about hacksquat machine at eastgate puregym
please can we get a hacksquat machine for eastgate puregym would really benefit everyone especially for people who can’t go heavy on a regular squat or a smith machine squat because of health issues expect for that it’s a great gym.

PureGym is excellent value for money
PureGym is excellent value for money, in comparison, I recently visited a Nuffield gym in London on a guest pass, and was shocked at the monthly fees they charged, on top of this, the gym itself was poorly equipped, in complete contrast to my PureGym experience. The PureGym I attend in Bristol Eastgate is very well equipped, with two floors, and other areas included for spin classes, and another separate room for stretching and such things. In addition, it has various toilets, and changing rooms, I would not change to anything else. Brilliantly equipped, with all the machines and weights one could ever hope for.
I would highly recommend PureGym in Eastgate Bristol!

Everything but the cold showers is great
Great value for money, but one thing that bothers me is the showers. The water is always cold, not nice expecially in the cold weather. Also a good to have note: I see a whole loads of people doing shaddow boxing at the mirrors in the studio. A punch bag will attract a lot of new folks.

We have recently made slight changes to the shower temperatures, to 33 degrees, both to control our energy usage and to reduce our carbon footprint.
