This gym is not worth it
This gym is not worth it - the staff are misogynistic and it’s basically a boys club. They get to be rude to you, talk over you, raise their voice and dismiss you but because you’re a woman if you speak back to them in this manner and don’t tolerate sexism and rudeness it’s a problem.
There is no vibe at all because the staff are so grumpy and miserable - they just sit and looks angry and text. The atmosphere has just got worse and worse over the last few months.
They’ll let men flash women and sexually harass them for months but if a woman speaks up they won’t tolerate it.
This gym is dirty, smells, and despite having hs2/sewer gas kicking back out of the sinks and reporting it multiple times, it was ignored then they let water leaked from the toilet cover the gym and stink it out for four days without any fresh air so it smells like dahmers house.
And you’re not allowed to open a door in this extreme case or ever, and apparently they can’t send an email to let anyone know before they turn up.
They don’t clean and the weights are always messy. There’s nothing good about this gym anymore and the rules are only there to protect staff they let people film etc.
there’s a reason you’re not getting new customers and it’s not that busy, but continue taking it out on customers rather than fix the actual issues or take accountability for sub par service and sites and the fish will continue rotting from the head 🙃

Puregym is one of the best gyms I've been a member of and its good value for money. My only disappointment is the equipment needs updating.

First disappointed day of the gym
It was my first time o I joined this gym and first of all I couldn’t able to get in the gym as my pin wasn’t working.
I waited 10 min to get one of the staff after I pressed the assistance button but no one showed up.
After a while one guy showed up and told me to come back next week Monday and that was unbelievable as he was the only staff there-no one else so I have to go back to my home.

Our gyms are usually staffed between 9am-5pm Monday- Friday, so staff are more likely to be around and able to assist during these times. Please bear in mind they may be in a PT session or a class and not able to answer straight away. If a member of staff is available, they will be happy to help as soon as they can, however we apologise that this was not your recent experience.

PureGym Eastgate seem to think they own…
PureGym Eastgate seem to think they own the carpark. I regularly see staff, coaches and gym attendees parking in the disabled spaces at the front of the gym without displaying a blue badge. If you're healthy enough to be exercising then you can walk from one of the many other spaces into the gym! There are disabled shoppers who need those spaces. I think it's time we start taking photos of vehicles parking in these spots illegally and send them to our local MP, ParkingEye and Bristol City Council to investigate further, it's wrong that PureGym allows this.

Straight forward no issues getting a day pass. Only suggestion I would make is to add ApplePay/AndroidPay to the checkout.

A lot of equipment is not working
A lot of equipment is not working, the sports water machine was broken for a week and you have not credited me, even though I have paid for this service

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.
This Christmas week closed, auto
This Christmas was supposed to be a time for a one-week pass.
The gym gave me a 3-day voucher, then closed early on Christmas eve not pause my 3-day pass, and didn't open until the day after Boxing Day.
Ridiculous automated system. It could have managed through the holiday period I am seriously upset.

Regarding the temperature of the showers, temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. The equipment is top notch and support network is superb
The monthly price is very affordable and didn't have to pay joining fee which was a bit of pleasant surprise also the staff at Eastgate branch is friendly and co-operative.

Super easy day pass membership
It was super easy to purchase a day pass by going onto the website.
Once I got there the only member of staff available was taking a class so having never been to Easytgate puregym I didn't know where things were. Once the member of staff had finished their class they were super helpful and friendly.
