A gym that feels like home
I've been going to this gym for a just over a year now. I have been working with Tom for this time and he has continuously been an incredible support. Nothing is too much for him. I've cried to him, been sick, sweat a shocking amount, but he's always given his everything to keep me going. Even throughout lockdown. Recently I started at a different gym as I moved a little further away from the center, after losing my motivation due to personal reasons I quickly realised that the gym I had moved to wasn't giving the support I needed to get back on it. I came back to Pure Gym and was instantly greeted with good banter and big smiles from the likes of Sam, Kim, Laura and others. The staff at this gym are so personable and know their clients, despite Tom being my personal trainer I know I could turn to any of them and ask them for help and support if needed. They are all a credit. Returning to this gym felt like going home after a long time.
I owe everyone here a big thank you for being a part of my continuous journey

I’m super impressed with the gym
I’m super impressed with the gym, it’s got lots of classes available, it’s clean and always plenty of sanitising stuff available.
I’m really surprised that the staff are so friendly and approachable considering it’s such a big chain, they’re always happy to offer advice and have really made me feel at ease. They’ve really made me feel like no question is too stupid and that they genuinely love their jobs and want to help out. I was so nervous about joining the gym (being a complete beginner) but everyone’s so friendly, including other gym goers.
Showers, toilets and changing room are really clean whenever I go.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers.

The class was amazing but not water
The class was amazing! Big space and lots equipment to use. Personal trainer good qualified.
My bad comment is for the “water dispenser“ making you waiting for over 20 minutes between each use (when says is unlimited) and also, the amount of water is ridiculous. Such a shame! Apart of this, ALL GREAT!
I highly recommend this gym!!

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym which is useful for planning ahead.

The gym is open 24/7 which is…
The gym is open 24/7 which is fantastic, but there's dirt everywhere and it is a bit under equipped in my opinion. But to be fair, for that price you get what you would expect.

The team went above and beyond over the lockdown to keep us all safe and yet still perform on the highest level. I'm looking forward to experience the full reopening and be able to take part in all the missing classes. Absolutely love it!

Amazing gym
Lovely gym, definitely worth a membership. I'm a refugee from PureGym London Victoria so this gym is just massive in comparison. Bright and fresh, its a pleasure to use.
The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is a few small problems:
Some of the Elliptical machines are not balanced. This means they rock back and forth when used which is super annoying.
I came on a Saturday and had to hunt around for cleaning spray as the dispensers by the functional training were all empty.
I love the feature where you scan a barcode to enter. However you need to pass through two sets of doors at the moment and the first set doesn't appear to have this scanner. So the scanner is redundant.
But these are just very small issues, its a great gym with a friendly team.

A great selection of workout equipments…
A great selection of workout equipments but am more impressed with the functional training area, it has all the required equipments for anyone interested in taking up functional training. The gym is all very clean and welcoming.

Really lovely gym with good atmosphere
Really lovely gym with good atmosphere. Can be crowded sometimes but it's located in the city centre so no surprise. The PureGym app is quite handy to check how many people are there so can plan easily. Some suggestions. Lack of 10-14 kg hand weights, there's simply not enough. Those are the most used ones a few new pair wouldn't hurt. Lack of clocks! There are only 2 and one is currently broken. I know nowadays everyone is on the phone 24/7 but I'm an old fashioned guy who doesn't go there to check the phone every few minute so a couple more clocks on the wall would be great. The cold water in the changing room is actually warm. Warm shake is not cool.
