Lovely gym with great staff & classes
Lovely gym with great staff and classes. I love the size of the gym, plenty of equipment so there are always options, yet it’s not so big that it’s intimidating like many others. I love the classes and they have various time options to suit your schedule. All staff are friendly and helpful if you need it. I particularly want to recommend it for Amita’s classes, she is fantastic and because of her and the friendly group of people in the sessions, I have found myself being consistent for almost a year now. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have kept going back without a good support.

Great Gym with Everything you Need
This gym is great & has all the equipment you need for your workout. A real friendly gym & a friendly team. I use the gym at lunchtimes and the weekends. Amita is great in classes and around the gym, helping you with equipment and pushing you to your next level of fitness.

5 benches , 5 bars , 10-20 dumbbells?
Oh yes and a three mirrors in the whole gym. Why does the management get paid there if this is so bad ?

Please be aware due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible, so please keep an eye out for updates.

Changing Membership
I wanted to change my membership from core to off peak and could not do this. Had to cancel and re-join, shouldn't have to do this, no help articles gave an actual solution or a way to do this. Also a very expensive gym compared to all other PureGyms.

Not enough early morning classes. ONE instructor is not enough.
Most of the early morning classes that quite a lot of people went to are gone and just one instructor does not cut it. I no longer bother with any of the minuscule classes they offer. Occasionally one good instructor shows up for a week or two then disappears, never to be seen again. None of them ever stick around for long because the current manager suck but they refuse to get rid of. They need ALL new and better staff. I stay only because the opening hours suits me.

Tired gym now
Tired gym now. Equipment needs to be repaired and updated. Feels a little grubby and gym staff not very welcoming. I have had multiple parking penalty notices that I have had to appeal, thank goodness for my home cameras on the drive! That said location for me is great. I can attend when not too busy. I use what I need and leave.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.
In the meantime, I really do hope you continue to enjoy your workouts! Thanks, PureGym
