Burgess Hill Gym closed from 24 Dec 24…
Burgess Hill Gym closed from 24 Dec 24 until further notice with no social media update or email regarding this closure. No communication about freezing payments or reimbursement for the lack of gym use. Diabolical customer service response from an instagram message which took 4 days to reply to. I will cancel my membership and use a proper gym like PHX in burgess hill who actually value their customers.

The space was grey and uninviting
The space was grey and uninviting, no windows, felt like being in the back of a badly lit warehouse. Heavy male attendance, felt intimidating to be one of only 3 women with around 20 men.
Didn't see one person cleaning their machine after use, no staff on hand to speak to, would have been nice to have someone there to explain machines etc.
I'll be rejoining the Triangle gym in BH, as overall a friendlier, more accommodating and positive space

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Get offers and when try to rejoin you cant. Send emails without response and then offers expire and dont get any benefit.
Very disappointing.

Membership look out.
The overall experience of setting myself up was fine, I had no issues navigating the site. When it came to ordering my membership type I chose the “Core” membership, upon ordering this it then asks you about bolt ons. One of the bolt ons was a “Buddy” bolt on which states you “will never miss a training event or class with your buddy.” I used the bolt on for my wife who when we got to the gym found out that the bolt on only gives her 4 uses of the gym per month. I found this to be quite misleading and overall dampened the experience of PureGym.

Great gym
Great gym, plenty of equipment, nice sized space. Does tend tp get completly unusavle if there are to many people in there at once so you cant get a thorough clean sweep workout.
Overall monthltt price is great and there is no set time limit for how long you can be in there , very clean, sanitising stations available, very clean changing room and shower areas, with plenty of locker storage available in these.
I would recommend and also the bonus of 24/7

I have been coming for a while and then…
I have been coming for a while and then go home and have a shower. But today I tried the shower at the gym and I would give it a one star rating. The changing rooms are clean but the shower was barely warm, mold in the corners and the all the trays were dirty. It's a shame as it lets the whole experience down. The gym equipment and staff are excellent and free parking is always available outside. Please sort the showers out.

Showers need black mould removal
I've been going to this gym for a few years now, it's all pretty good apart from the showers. Shortly after the energy crisis started they turned the temperature down, they are now barely warm enough and the temperature fluctuates to cold sometimes. Also there is black mould on the silicone seals around the base of each of the shower cubicles, don't blame the cleaner, they obviously haven't been given the tools to deal with this. This doesn't stop me going to the gym yet, but basic cleaning would be nice. Otherwise good place, friendly staff.

It’s a good gym until… an exercise…
It’s a good gym until… an exercise class takes place. Because of the design of the gym the space the ‘room’ where they do classes is open plan. The classes are so noisy that I find it hard to hear my own music on my headphones. It could also do with more leg exercise machines as well. On the plus side it’s cheep membership and is generally clean & we’ll maintained.

Basic gym, fairly small and crowded.
OK gym with all the basic equipment. It's quite small and often crowded. There's not enough machines that makes you work on your abs. I only go there because it's convenient, definitely not the best gym I've been to.
