Increased fee's as soon as I sign up!!
I signed up yesterday morning for the £16.99 off peak membership, but behind the scenes they had increased the fee's to £17.99 per month. Luckily I took a screen shot of the £16.99 membership plan as a back up, glad i did now!

Not enough facilities but what is there is high quality
When I went there wasn't enough bench presses and smith machines as people were queueing to use these facilities.

I was expecting muscle men with egos…
I was expecting muscle men with egos and feeling self conscious in comparison. My experience was totally opposite. I went with my daughter who is a gym user who helped me understand the equipment and what areas they workout. Nobody took any notice of me ,everyone was doing their own thing which helped my confidence as I was totally inexperienced.the gym was very clean and I’m definitely going to become a member.

I went mid afternoon on a day off from work and it was quiet and I could get in all the equipment I wanted to use immediately. Even at peak times the access to equipment is pretty good.

Gym user since my 20s and now I'm 71
I've been a gym user since my 20s and I recently turned 71. So I've used lots of different gyms , equipment and swimming pools. I've given up on swimming as the pools are always packed and I very often end up with a stinking cold from bugs in the water. The last gym I was at , the instructors were quite snooty and wouldn't waste their time with an old geezer like me. So I really like PureGym, very simple, nice machines , friendly people. Being able to go at night when most other gyms are shut is great. I'm on the off-peak rate so go at 9 and train for 1 1/2 hours. That really sends me to sleep as this is something I have developed issues with as I've got older. I'm new to PureGym but I'm looking forward to doing some of the instructed sessions.

Very good equipment and spacious gym
Excellent range of equipment and machines. Good lay out too so quite spacious gym albeit quite busy, even at 9pm.

I was having some issues signing up but met Red Walton
I was having some issues signing up online , I popped into you're Cannock branch to see if could sign up their but unfortunately this wasn't available for me to do , however a young man called Red Walton was on hand to give me a guided tour of the gym assured me that the website was offering a zero joining fee and asked me to try again and sent me an email offering to assist if i had any other issues . He went through the app that was a winner for me with the sign in details and web assist videos for when assistants are not available
