Well equipped gym
Well equipped gym, not attended any classes as yet!! More free weight use!!
Like most gyms i avoid the busy times 5-8pm for me!!

Good experience
I was visiting relatives near Chippenham and booked a one day pass for a Sunday morning at the Chippenham PureGym. I was impressed due to:
* Nice mix of people - all ages and shapes - people seemed very friendly
* Lots of space - large functional/stretch/cooldown areas
* Lots of kit - especially lots of racks/barbell - one of my moans in a lot of other gyms is limited squat racks - not here
* Overall very clean

A great budget gym
The chippenham gym is rarely busy (i work shifts so i do miss the peak times) and is really good value for money

Inclusive and well maintained
Feels like a really inclusive place. Machines are kept nice and even at busy periods it doesn't feel crowded.

Staff are great, drains are rank
Staff are very friendly and approachable on the whole (particularly the two Luke’s and Matt). Equipment range is good and suits my goals.
However, the gym desperately needs more mirrors in the weight section, why am I staring at a wall on the smith machine for example. The drains absolutely stink in the women’s changing rooms and in the four months I’ve been coming, there’s always a cubicle/shower out of order.

Disgusting!
Disgusting, there's no self cleaning service. Other gyms I go to are a lot cleaner and had cleaning equipment compared to the one in Chippenham. There is sticky equipment, sweat pools everywhere and etc. I will not be going here again!

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

Poor Cleanliness
The changing rooms are ridiculously dirty and the gym floor looks like it never gets cleaned! Does the gym have a cleaning regime that the staff are not following or does it need to employ new cleaners?
This does not leave a very good impressions whilst working out and deters me from coming back

I wanted to say a huge Thank you- to the member of staff, I believe a manager (with a beard) who allowed me access to the gym in the morning, as I hadn’t yet received my temporary code for the day. I was waiting for it to be sent to me but I wanted to go to the gym first thing. He was very understanding and this meant I didn’t have to drive miles back to my home Pure gym.

A good gym
A good gym. With everything you need. Much like every other gym, could do with more variety of machines but makes use of space well. All muscle groups well covered. Clean and organised.

Third complaint
Third complaint, nothing has changed at PureGym in Chippenham. Having not been to my local gym since December, today, the mess left by lazy gym members is getting bloody ridiculous. Your announcements over the PA system should highlight the latter. Very poor management, get it sorted!!!

However….. Cleaning of studio, gym, changing rooms, showers and toilets needs to be massively improved. The drains smell from the showers is horrendous, please fix this!

Good place for beginners
Puregym Chippenham is good but not great with cleaniness. Cleaniness and hygiene is a concern in locker room and shower area.
