Would've expected better customer…
Would've expected better customer communication. Arrived to find the male changing rooms shut for maintenance with no date of reopening. I asked one of the trainers on site who just he didn't know when it will open and pointed me to a disabled toilet, no apology for the inconvenience.
I would've expected some kind of app notification or email about this and perhaps temp access to another gym close by whilst the male changing rooms are out of service, not the kind of thing you need when you need to go to work straight after a workout.

disappointing
The male changing room, toilets and showers still not accessible. Therefore, all the males have to use one disabled toilet and shower which is always occupied. I ended changing in a corner of the gym. Not sure when they will be available again and no one around to ask.

Turn the heating on
Turn the heating on. Training in a cold environment is not healthy and can lead to injuries. Also the tv monitor s are not working upstairs. The music helps keep a steady rhythm whilst running or on the cross trainers.

Since joining the gym 3 months ago I have been very pleased with how the environment, staff, equipment and atmosphere have been.
Compared to other gyms the equipment is repaired quickly. I cannot fault anything at all.
Classes I have attended have been good. Its a credit to the managers and coaches.

Absolutely freezing
Absolutely freezing during winter months. Perfect recipe for injuries when it takes far longer to warm up. Even the bars and dumbells are cold to the touch.

Gone downhill!!! DENTON!!
UPDATE - It appears trustpilot is putting all reviews into 1, thIs review is for DENTON NOT DEBDALE but it appears on both pages! Ive only just realised as i put this review on in November 2022! Apologies to debdale!
I have been a member of this gym since it opened and it has gone downhill massively, there seem to be a lot less weight plates downstairs, spend half my time wandering round looking for the correct ones!!
Not enough attachments for the cable machines, are people stealing them??
The tv's have been broken for months, the machines are old and tired some of the buttons don't work properly!
What is going on with the temperature, it was absolutely freezing, 5 degrees outside and the aircon was on, I know it needs to be on upstairs for people doing cardio but it doesn't need to be that cold downstairs, even the App has to "warm up" !!!
Wifi is crap!!
The only positive is the staff who are friendly and helpful!
Seriously considering cancelling my membership which is a shame because this gym could be so much better!!

Need a better entrance and exit system at peak times. Maybe a staff member operating the disabled door as an exit would help?!

We understand at peak times the gym can become busier. The staff will sometimes open the easy access doors if possible to help members enter a lot quicker. This however isn't always possible as they may be in PT sessions or classes.
