The only think i do not like is the temperature, it is too warm for a gym. I can not breath soon after working out, i have to leave earlier than i plan to stay.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Not so good in the sun
Normally I love this gym but it’s impossible to see with the sun coming through the windows. It really needs blinds or a tinted coating. It’s so bright in there that using half of the machines was impossible as you can’t see the weights/screens or your form without being blinded. It’s such a simple thing that could make all the difference. I spoke to 4 other gym goers and they all said the same thing.

1ST TIME IN DONCASTER
The gym was very clean and tidy was a good experience! Would definitely recommend to a friend was only coming for a one off from my regular gym and was really impressed.

Poor gym
There is no 10kg kettlebell, change room is upstairs, very little space and there is such a mess, huge spiders webs on windows and corners

Our gyms will be deep cleaned every night with high-grade anti-viral disinfectant. The team will also clean every piece of kit and surface throughout the day, from dumbbells to treadmills and everything in between, so you can train with confidence.
If you would like to raise any concerns it would really help us if you could get in touch directly with the Gym Manager to provide more information (such as date and time) so this can be properly investigated. Thanks, PureGym
Woeful
Over advertising lead this gym to overcrowding. People sit on their phones getting in way. Too many cardio machines. Users including staff having loud chats in the middle of the floor. Pathetic waiting times for machines. Lack of equipment choice. No hack squat, no calf raises (only commercial calf press) too many power racks…
lazy staff. Overcrowding of students and younger people many of which are underage and should be supervised. Girls leaving makeup and weights everywhere because they believe they’re too pretty to tidy after themselves. Not enough benches. Need get rid of a few power racks to make room. Poor use of air con. No one cleans machines well. No wipes. Flavoured Water machine never actually works. All round silly. Oh and the music is absolutely nonsense.
All in all for an advanced Gym goer/bodybuilder or anyone who knows what he’s doing and needs to get on, this gym isn’t for you. It feels and appears more like a social gathering.
Wouldn’t recommend.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused on your visit.
Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further.
We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio.
If you have any other/specific suggestions please leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed.
It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this.
However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.
We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure that all points raised are addressed in club directly.

No cleaning station to use for hygiene reasons
I use Doncaster gym as an alternative when down there. I was disappointed not to find a cleaning station to clean the equipment before or after use.

Average gym, average everything!
Average gym really. An odd shape and therefore odd set up of equipment in my personal opinion. Sled track not great, carpet very thick meaning more challenging. Lighting poor and no atmosphere, music very quiet. Went as a day pass to train with a friend but wouldn't consider joining unfortunately. All equipment was new and changing rooms looked clean so not all bad just not for me!

The manager took the time to help me…
The manager took the time to help me sign up there and then .He then showed me the equipment I said I wanted to use giving me instructions on how to use each peice of equipment.Nothing was too much trouble . I have been twice since at different times and been able to use the equipment I wanted to use with no issues
