Great gym and very clean
Great gym and very clean, modern, lots of equipment. Unfortunately it attracts the younger generation and peak times it's crazy busy.
Great feature is tye app and the work outs it comes with - just found following the workout hard as it was so busy.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
Gym Trial
Tried the gym as an alternative to my usual gym, as it is within walking distance. It was impossible to get hold of anyone prior to joining the gym, as it is not often manned. However, when I did meet the staff, they were very friendly and welcoming, answering all my questions. The gym and changing facilities are very clean and tidy, although there are no paper towels or cleaning sprays to clean down the equipment after use. I could not use the showers, as the temperature is set at 'very lukewarm', but again, all was wonderfully clean.
The gym is well equipped, but unfortunately the group classes it offers are very limited and missing high energy classes such as Body Combat, etc. Classes are also short - half an hour - with one of the classes taking place in the gym, which ended up being only 20 mins long following talking etc.
The price is good for what it is, but it lacks the personal touch, group classes and the machines do not provide music, TV, internet, apps etc. which is nice to have when running for an hour etc.
For now, I will be remaining with my existing gym.

As an online company, we don't have receptions. However, we have the cylinder POD doors that act as both an entrance and security system. The POD doors monitor entrance with individual 8 digit code.
As well as this, we have staff monitoring the gym during staffed hours, alongside a 24/7 CCTV team.
The class timetable is regularly reviewed in line with member feedback and on occasions will need to be adapted to account for the space in club as well as the staff on site available to run the classes.
If you have any suggestions the best way to pass them on for practical action is always to get in touch directly with the Gym Manager.
You can approach them in the gym, contact the clubs direct email or leave a comment in the feedback box as this is regularly reviewed for updates and improvements.

Bit cold
Seems like a good gym. After using a lot of Puregyms i did note Eastbourne was cold and a lot of people were wearing hoody's & tracksuit bottoms. Also showers were also cold! Otherwise all good.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.

Gym equipment and staff are great
Gym equipment and staff are great. Gym members need more discipline to put kit away and learn to share by being aware of other gym members.

Great value for money
The positives are that its located on an industrial park so plenty of parking. Although its not a large gym, It has all the equipment you need and the 24/7 access is essential. In addition, compared to other local gyms, this is one of the cheapest. There are no negatives but as mentioned its not the largest gym so definitely try and plan your session outside of peak times

Great gym
Great gym, good atmosphere and an amazing selection of equipment and classes.
I have been going there since it opened in early 2024. Staff are friendly and helpful. Also I was recently asked to complete a feedback survey and the points I made were addressed immediately and I was informed that they had been sorted out. Can’t recommend this place enough, love it.

Easy process great gym
I was invited to join my brother for a couple o sessions as his guest. The joining process was easy to follow and complete. My PIN number came through really quickly with full instructions on the gym.

It was great
It was great. The app was easy to follow, entry was straightforward and facilities were excellent. I went with a friend who is already a member, just to get a taster. I enjoyed it so now looking to become a member myself.

The gym is old skool and dirty. Noone cares
I signed up before the gym opened, I get that it's like the old skool gyms that were sweat and sawdust, kinda, but post Covid? Really? The equipment is filthy, sweat all over it. Come on. Clean up please. Provide sanitising equipment.

Each gym is set within tiers dependant on a number of factors, including location and running costs. The higher the PLUS rate the more gyms you have access to in a higher tier.
